The members of One Direction are young, but they’ve already made enough money to retire. One Direction made $200 million in the two years since they competed on The X Factor!

Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik entered the talent competition as solo singers and actually came in third place on the show!

Simon Cowell is responsible for putting these kids together.

The the band’s revenue comes from songs, publishing, discs, DVDs, merchandising and endorsements. The popular group also just inked a new deal with Pepsi and will be embarking on a world tour next year.

I secretly, or not so secretly, want One Direction’s album. I appreciate their Carly Rae Jepsen-esque style of making irresistibly catchy songs.
