Yesterday, Donald Trump promised a "major" revelation that he expected to alter the course of the upcoming presidential election. Today, the "bombshell" was dropped and, as expected, all we really learned from the announcement is that Donald Trump is an even bigger d-bag than we thought.

Trump is obviously opposed to the idea of another four years for the Obama administration, but he's even more opposed to not being in the national spotlight, so after days of teasing, The Donald finally issued a challenge to the President: release your school records and I'll make a $5 million donation to the charity of your choice.

Trump, of course, is acting like the offer is a no-brainer for the POTUS. If Barry goes public with his college transcripts, passport applications and other personal documents, Trump will shovel some gold coins out of his giant Scrooge McDuck vault and into the hands of some needy kids.

Never mind the fact that Obama giving in to Trump's demands would set a dangerous precedent for buying information from sitting presidents and would essentially reduce the highest office in the land to a spot on one of Trump's mind-numbing reality shows.

Oh, and don't fall victim to the many right-wing media outlets that will compare this situation to the demand for Mitt Romney's tax returns. Where a candidate gets his money and what he pays in taxes is relevant to the election process. What kind of grade the guy got in his sophomore year western civ class is not.

This is just another case of Donald Trump trying to bully his way into the political spotlight. Many have claimed his vehement anti-Obama campaign is transparently racist, which is probably accurate, but you have to consider the fact that neither of the candidates is the the same color as Trump. This guy won't be satisfied until some one with a beet-red heart attack face is in the White House.
