It was a night of ups and downs for the Thompson family of central Georgia, more commonly known as known as "those Honey Boo Boo people."

First, the 7 year-old reality star legally known as, Alana Thompson appeared with her mother, June Shannon, on Jimmy Kimmel Live where she announced that she supports Barack Obama's re-election campaign. The reason? Turns out the Boo Boo Chile' was less than pleased to hear that Mitt Romney proclaimed Snooki as his favorite reality star. We can only assume that as a Mormon, Mitt relates to Snooki's belief in multiple partners. You just cost yourself a 7 year-old's vote, buddy!

Later in the evening, things went south for Alana and her mama as they were portrayed in, um…unflattering fashion on a new episode of South Park (Alana was portrayed as an obese multiple heart attack victim and ended the episode wrestling with Cartman in a vat of spaghetti). June spoke out today, calling the episode "trashy"and "not funny."

I'm sure the South Park guys have developed pretty thick skins over the years, but being called "trashy" by none other than the mother of Honey Boo Boo has gotta sting, just a bit.
