Lady Gaga addressed criticisms of her weight for the 4,000th time at a concert in Switzerland recently. As expected, she had some unkind words for the tabloids who called attention to her weight gain. More surprisingly, she had some choice insults for…herself?

"Here's to 30 more years of them calling me a fat, attention-seeking whore," Gaga told the sell-out crowd. She was trying to make a point about her ability to stand up to criticism and blah, blah, blah, but she ended up toasting people who called her a slut in yet another attempt to turn herself into a martyr.

Gaga is clearly at her best when people are putting her down, and she pretends like she's standing up to the bullies of the world and doing it all for her Little Monsters, etc., but at the end of the day, I think she's terrified of the day when people stop hatin', because that's the same day she'll stop grabbing headlines.
