Upton and her two friends have made Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit edition for a second straight year. Upton is now the 8th model since 1964 to appear on more than one cover of SI.

She has a long way to go to catch Elle Macpherson’s total of five covers, but the 20-year-old Florida native still has plenty of time.

The cover features Upton wearing a white bikini bottom and a white fur-hooded jacket in Antarctica. A strange location to host a swimsuit photo shoot, but after 49 years, there aren’t many places left to use.

In what was probably Antarctica’s biggest day in history since it was discovered, Upton was thrilled to hear the editor’s choice to put her in a winter coat.

Despite the photo being leaked last Friday, the magazines finally hit the shelves this morning. There’s no doubt that someone is yelling in Al Gore’s face, “I told you so” after the world just learned the real reason as to why Antarctica’s ice caps are melting.
