The debut video for Adam Lambert's sophomore album is finally here! Adam wears vampire contracts, drinks alcohol straight from the bottle, and is a violent goth dude in "Better Than I Know Myself." This really throws me off considering that Adam loves the booze and was arrested for being a drunken idiot in Finland. But then there's the kinder version of Adam, who also sings along. Both versions of the popstar are featured in this beautiful, creative video for a typical song about a romantic relationship. Hang in there for the very end where Adam has one blue eye and one vampire eye as he walks on the street!
Adam Lambert
Adam Lambert has one of the best voices in the history of pop music. We're not exaggerating. Coupled with Adam Lambert's powerful and beautiful vocals is a charismatic, kind person from San Diego who has a flawless smile, fiercely passionate fans, and a thick head of shiny black hair. He's sexy.
Adam Lambert: Queen's New Singer, Going on Tour
In a recent interview, Adam Lambert did hint that he may be collaborating with Queen! Lambert and original Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor joined Lambert onstage for his final performance on American Idol in 2009 and once again for the MTV European Music Awards in November. They work well together!
The Daily Sun via Starcasm reports that it's official. Adam and Queen will tour together!
Adam says: “The intention is to pay tribute to Freddie and the band by singing some f***ing great songs." He also said that he aspires to keep the band's music alive for the fans and give his performances "an energy that Freddie would have been proud of.”
Adam says he knows that he won't be able to replace Freddie Mercury because "that's impossible."
He calls the collaboration "a great honor."
Congrats to one of the best singers alive! We'll keep you posted on tour dates when they're released.
Adam Lambert: Behind the Scenes of 'Better Than I Know Myself'
Adam Lambert is giving fans a behind the scenes look from the making of his "Better Than I Know Myself" music video. Lambert says that he wanted to be hands on with the video and he explained what the song is all about. He looks pretty. Can't wait to see the final product! Check it out.
Adam Lambert Talks About Trespassing, Turning 30 and Relationships
It has taken a very long time for Adam Lambert's sophomore record to be released but now it's finally upon us. Lambert has started to promote Trespassing and he's giving fun interviews, per usual. Adam explains the difference between this record and his first, his relationship troubles before falling in love with current boyfriend Sauli Koskinen, turning 30 and more.
My fave quote from Adam comes from when he described what it was like to work with Phareell Williams. He said: "When they said, 'You're going to go in the studio in Miami with Pharrell,' I said, 'I'm not cool enough! He's too cool for me.' I was intimidated, I was nervous!" Lol. Adam's perfect!
On Trespassing: "I think I'm fully embracing the gay community on this album, maybe even more so than the last one. I think I'm really talking about where I come from."
On how Trespassing is different than For Your Entertainment: On Halloween, I rented a party bus with friends and we were having a great time, and I played some of the dance music to see how they would react, and it was like an explosion.
On relationships before Sauli Koskinen: "There was a lot of me trying to be a 'fixer.' I was that kind of guy. I'd meet someone who had 'so much potential' that needed 'help.' I think that was kind of my curse for a long time."
On turning 30 on January 29: "There's a little part of me who's like, 'Whoa, 30, that sounds so crazy!' But I also feel changes coming and happening. I feel much more solid in who I am right now."
On the new song "Kickin' In": "I think people are gonna be like, 'That's Adam???' It's me, but it's a totally different sound....it's me narrating and giving my commentary of a hot-mess girl at a bar. But I played it for some of my gay friends and they were like, 'Oh yeah, that's about our friend!'"
On the title track: "The song is basically saying, 'You're saying I'm an outsider and to keep out, and I say, f*** you!' I'm gonna do what I want to do, and I'm gonna do it the way I want to do it."
Adam Lambert Wants to Be on Glee
Adam Lambert is a Gleek and he wants to bring his glitter to Fox's over the top musical series. Adam says that Glee “really paints a picture of what it’s like to be an arts kid in high school. Glee is really irresistible -- it's charming.”
He tells The Hollywood Reporter that he would like to be on the show, playing himself .“I want to just be me,” he says. “Why do I have to be a fictional character?” Agreed!
“I think there were murmurs about it. Hopefully, maybe now that I have some new music, I could go on there.”
Lambert says that when Glee first came out he said "I don't really like this show." Ouch. Ryan Murphy may not cast him as a guest star now!
“But now I watch it... And you know what? I do think the show has an agenda, but I respect the agenda. I think it's a very brave agenda to try to push."
He continued: "[Glee is] definitely one of a kind and very revolutionary in that way.”
Adam would be so damn amazing as himself on Glee! This rumor is just too much to behold. Heh.
Adam Lambert: "Trespassing" Album Cover Revealed
Adam Lambert has been tirelessly promoting his new album with a string of interviews and television performances lately, easily making it one of the most highly-anticipated releases of 2012. Trespassing won't be released until March 20, but last night, Glambert offered fans an online glimpse of the album's cover art.
Adam's latest single, "Better Than I Know Myself" is already performing well on the iTunes charts and Trespassing is expected to be his best-selling album to date. Lambert's now notorious fight with boyfriend Sauli Koskinen may actually help with album sales, as the December incident resulted in some unexpected free publicity. The man has one of the most devoted fan bases in music and learning about his sometimes tumultuous personal life seems to make them feel an even closer connection to the Glam One.
Adam Lambert Perfoms New Song on Ellen
Adam Lambert performed his new single "Better Than I Know Myself" on the Ellen DeGeneres show yesterday. He performed the same song on Jay Leno just days earlier. During his Ellen appearance, Adam explained that he made a drunken mistake in Finland and he and boyfriend Sauli Koskinen have since cleaned up their act.
Lambert looked like he was going to dress up but then just grabbed someone else's pants and threw 'em on! He was in a full suit on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno, which made him look hotter, so I much prefer that performance instead. Adam's new album, Trespassing, is dropping in March which means we'll have plenty of Lambert posts for you as he promotes his new project.
Adam Lambert on Sauli Koskinen Fight: "Too Much To Drink!"
Adam Lambert appeared on Ellen today to promote his forthcoming album, Trespassing. Ellen's usually not one for hardball questions, so it's a bit surprising that she brought up Adam's notorious fight with boyfriend Sauli Koskinen that took place in December. Glambert didn't seem at all taken aback by the topic, however, and fielded questions in his usual laid-back fashion.
"We had too much to drink. We screwed up," Adam said of the fight that led to his arrest by Finnish authorities. He dismissed the incident as "foolish, childish messiness," and added that he and Sauli have resolved to "clean up the act." "We're juicing, we're exercising," Adam said, stopping just short of swearing off the booze. Hey, one ugly incident doesn't mean you have to quit drinking, right? I tell my AA sponsor that all the time.
Adam went on to say that "being in a gay relationship in the public eye is hard enough" without stirring up unnecessary drama. We're sure Ellen can relate to that.
Sauli was on hand for the appearance and seemed to approve of Adam's explanation. These two seem wonderfully well-suited for each other. Sometimes the best relationships have the biggest blow-outs.
Adam Lambert Belts Out "Better Than I Know Myself" on Jay Leno
Where to begin? Adam Lambert makes it look so easy! He has one of the best voice in music hands down, and his voice could probably literally shatter glass. In case you were wondering, no, I am not a fan, lol. Adam looked handsome as hell last night as he sang his first single "Better Than I Know Myself" from his forthcoming album, Trespassing. I don't really care for the song. It's radio friendly and it'll probably grow on me, but I can appreciate anything that Adam sings because he is seriously that good!
Sauli Koskinen and Adam Lambert: Date Night
Adam Lambert is still trying to prove that he isn't a violent crazy drunk, so he and his pocket boyfriend hit up Katsuya, one of LA's paparazzi magnet restaurants. They probably didn't even eat sh!t, but they were there to remind folks that Adam's a good guy (and he also has a new album coming out soon)!
Adam stuck to his all black everythang look while Sauli Koskinen had a slightly more colorful outfit, along with some horrible shoes. I wonder who takes longer to get ready? Adam can't live without his makeup, while Sauli has to spend time perfecting that signature hairstyle of his.
