Adam Lambert: Upset With Out Magazine Editor

Although Adam Lambert was named Out magazine's Breakout Star of 2009, Adam and Out magazine editor Aaron Hicklin are going at it.

In this month's issue, with Adam featured on the cover, Aaron writes a letter in which he puts Adam, his record label, and management on blast.

Adam Lambert Out magazine cover

Aaron said, “We’re curious whether you know that we made cover offers for you before American Idol was even halfway through its run. Apparently, Out was too gay, even for you."

Aaron said that Adam Lambert's team was concerned about what an Out magazine cover would do to his record sales. Aaron added, “Imagine! A gay musician on the cover of a gay magazine. What might the parents think! It’s only because this cover is a group shot that includes a straight woman that your team would allow you to be photographed at all.”

The journalist who interviewed Adam was also allegedly cautioned against making the interview "too gay" or "you know, gay-gay."

Adam wasn't too happy about this unnecessary expose and posted the following tweets:

  • “Dear Aaron, it’s def not that deep. Chill! Guess ya gotta get attention for the magazine. U too are at the mercy of the marketing machine…
  • Until we have a meaningful conversation, perhaps you should refrain from projecting your publications’ agenda onto my career.”

Aaron slams Adam for not being "gay" enough, yet Lambert is his publication's Breakout of the Year honoree? I think Aaron is hoping Adam will show him how gay he truly is by gettin' down with him. Yes, that's silly and I took it there cause this feud is equally as silly. Adam is as gay as they come and he's proud and he's out of the closet. I dunno what more Aaron should want or ask of him.

Adam Lambert Had Oral Sex With a Woman, Doesn't Know Sh*t About Love

Adam Lambert really is here for your entertainment. Whether he's screaming on stage, grinding his hips suggestively, or forgetting to put chapstick on his lips, he never fails to intrigue.

Adam Lambert gay and bi-curious

Adam Lambert was named Out magazine's Breakout Star of 2009. In exchange, the rising rock star really opened up.

On being Adam Lambert:

“I’m doing the best I f*cking can, you know? I’m the same guy doing the same thing on a larger scale. I’ve always been an entertainer.”

On competing on American Idol:

“It’s about making a good TV show. I just wanted to be really careful that it didn’t turn into a fucking pageant. I can sing my face off. All this other stuff is part of a personality, a persona.”

On his gay makeout pictures hitting the Internet:

“I was like, ‘Great, that’s gonna f*ck things up.’ It was the first time since I’d come out of the closet at 18 that I had to think about it.

On coming out of the closet:

It’s part of who I am, but because our nation is the way it is, it’s an announcement. If I lose some fans, fuck it. I need to be happy too.”

Adam Lambert's Chapped Lips: WTF is Wrong With Them?

Why does Adam Lambert always look like he just got done giving a cactus deep throat? Eff collagen, this man needs some Vaseline injections.

Adam Lambert

Before American Idol, during the show's tapings, and after he lost, Adam Lambert's lips have looked so horribly chapped, they almost appear to be on the verge of peeling in some spots. You'd think that the "For Your Entertainment" queen who loves makeup would do something For His Lips and invest in all the right beauty products. I don't know what's goin' on here, but the excessive dryness doesn't make me wanna makeout with him. Such a damn shame. Your loss, Glambert!

Adam Lambert: Sellout or Rockstar With Street Cred?

In Adam Lambert's new interview with The Los Angeles Times, he talks about his image, "the gay stuff, and his music. Adam wants to let everyone know that he's the real deal and he has looked up to people like Christina Aguilera - who can make pop songs while having the talent to truly belt it out.

Adam Lambert sell out

On his image:

"People want to talk about whether I have rock cred, whether I'm selling out, the theatricality, the gay stuff. ... Chill out! And just enjoy yourself. It's not that deep.

Not wanting to sound fraudulent like Miley Cyrus who hasn't listened to a Jay-Z song but sings otherwise, the guyliner-loving singer corrected himself saying: "...Sometimes it is deep. Some of the songs on the album are. Sometimes it's just, 'This is hot, I feel good, this song makes me want to go get a drink and flirt with somebody and have a good time.' Good energy is just as credible as the cathartic, dark, heavy stuff. It's just as important!"

On his music and style:

"People look at me and immediately say, 'Oh, he's doing the musical-theater thing. But if you look at most female pop stars right now, how are they any less theater"

To further his point Glambert name drops Sasha Fierce: Beyoncé is doing 'Single Ladies' with two girls in character shoes and leotards, doing Fosse choreography from 'Sweet Charity' and 'West Side Story.'"

On his influences:

I was a Paula Abdul fan, a Michael Jackson fan, a Madonna fan. Christina Aguilera was a great example of someone taking the pop-dance feel but who could really sing. Pop stars have done it; it's just not a lot of guys have done it."

Well Adam's doing it and he has the talent and likability to create a lengthy career in pop/rock music.

Ferras Alqaisi: Adam Lambert's New Boyfriend

Adam Lambert is young, hot, talented, and successful - all the best ingredients for being a serial dater.

Ferras Alqaisi picture

Adam Lambert dumped Drake LaBry like a week ago and he already has a new boy toy, singer/songwriter Ferras Alqaisi.

The two actually spent Halloween night together at a private costume party in L.A. "Ferras had been helping Adam work on his new album, For Your Entertainment. They have a lot in common, so I'm not surprised Adam started falling for him."

Drake LaBry reportedly "didn't suspect a thing" and was shocked when Glambert dropped him. Hopefully Ferras won't be shocked when Adam dumps him before the month ends and his album hits stores. You can't turn a man whore into a hubby.

What do you think, is Ferras hot enough for Adam?

Adam Lambert: Penis and CD For Sale

Adam Lambert has confirmed that he has broken up with Drake LaBry. The glam rocker also says that he's "cool" with being single.

But how cool with going solo is he? Adam says, "I will date on tour." We all know what that means: Groupies welcome! Adam also said that he wants someone who is intelligent and has "creativity and compassion."

Adam's source said that Drake and Adam both felt that his career was too important for him to focus on a f*ckship.

Adam has 'whore-in-training' written all over him and I love it! He's a late bloomer and he's making up for lost time.

Adam Lambert 'For Your Entertainment' Songs Leaked

Rihanna wants you to "Wait Your Turn," but newly single, former Idol contestant, Adam Lambert doesn't.

Here's the preview of all the songs on Adam Lambert's debut album "For Your Entertainment." Adam's new songs aren't exactly my cup of tea, but I like it. Glambert's disc has some great party tracks. You can tell that Adam made his imprint all over these songs. I hope he's happy with the results.

My favorite songs are Music Again, Soaked, Sure Fire Winners, and A Loaded Smile.

Adam Lambert and Drake LaBry Break Up

Adam Lambert's debut album, For Your Entertainment, drops next month. As part of his strategic promotional efforts, he dumped his Z-list boyfriend, interior designer Drake LaBry.

Adam and Drake have been dating before the glam rocker competed on American Idol, and Drake was often seen cheering for Glambert in the audience.

A source said, “The relationship just ran its course. The break-up was mutual and amicable. They remain friends and still care for each other.”

That's the second time I've recently heard that the cause of a celebrity break-up is that the relationship had "just ran its course." What is a partnership, a menstrual cycle?

The next time I dump a dude, I'll claim the f*ckship had run its course. 'It's like tick tock, man!'

Adam Lambert: 'For Your Entertainment' Single Debut

Adam Lambert's highly anticipated debut single premiered today. "For Your Entertainment" is "dance music with a glam-rock shuffle beat," according to the American Idol runner-up.

Adam describes FYE as his "Britney song" and calls "Time for Miracles" his "Christina Song." While on Ryan Seacrest's morning show, Glambert said, "Hope you're gonna wanna blast it while you're gettin ready for Halloween!! Then at the club!!!"

I think this song is like a "Britney song" in more ways than one. It's like Brit's new single '3.' I hated it at first, but its grown on me a bit.

Adam Lambert: 'Album Cover Is Deliberately Campy'

Thank God Adam Lambert has a sense of humor and wasn't totally serious about the artwork for his album, 'For Your Entertainment'. That picture is straight Duran Duran meets Liberace and it scared me a little bit.

Adam Lambert, makeup and in drag on

While all the blogs were going crazy over the album cover, Adam was busy at the premiere for Michael Jackson's This Is It, but made sure to tweet an explanation this morning.

"Thank you to those who appreciate and understand that the album cover is deliberately campy. It's an homage to the past. It IS ridiculous. For those that don't get it: oh well. Glad to have gotten your attention. Androgyny. Rock n roll."

The over-the-top makeup, bright blue hair, and galaxy background is a serious 80s glam rock look, but I can handle it. Now I want to be Adam Lambert's album cover for Halloween. Cut the fingers off of a black glove, throw on some pink, yellow and purple eyeshadow, hit a Kate Gosselin Halloween wig with some blue hair dye and I'm all set!
