Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert has one of the best voices in the history of pop music. We're not exaggerating. Coupled with Adam Lambert's powerful and beautiful vocals is a charismatic, kind person from San Diego who has a flawless smile, fiercely passionate fans, and a thick head of shiny black hair. He's sexy.

Adam Lambert: "Trespassing" Debuts at Number 1 on Billboard!

No American Idol winner has amassed a cult audience of adoring fans like Adam Lambert, and today the Glambert Nation has made its voice heard. Adam's new album, Trespassing, debuted at number one on the Billboard charts.

Adam Lambert

This is the first number one of Adam's career and he expressed his gratitude for his fans via Twitter. "Wow! #Trespassing made its debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 this week! Thank you to the Glamily for helping me make HISTORY!" History, indeed. The success of "Trespassing" marks a turning point in Adam's career and may well be remembered as the moment he transitioned from critical darling to global icon.

With 77,000 copies sold, Adam becomes just the seventh American Idol contestant to reach the number one spot on the charts. The same experts who predicted Adam would take the top spot say that his sales will benefit heavily from word of mouth, and the Glam one could hold on to number one for several weeks.

Adam Lambert's Trespassing Debuts at #1 on Billboard?!

At this point we're only a few hours away from finding out if Adam Lambert landed in the #1 slot on Billboard, as experts had projected. Adam's new album Trespassing will debut at no.1 if Carrie Underwood and Adele sales remain steady, making Lambert the first openly gay artist to top the Billboard 200.

Adam Lambert, Never Close Our Eyes (live)

Elton John has had several no.1 albums and Clay Aiken had a no.1 record in 2003, but neither had yet come out of the closet yet. Adam's first record, For Your Entertainment, debuted at #3.

We will keep you posted on what the official stats are, but as of right now, one of the best singers in today's pop music may receive more of the recognition that he deserves. More television interviews, more magazine covers, more photo shoots please! The video above features Adam showcasing his talent on last week's American Idol before I went one on one with the talented chart topper himself. Looks like Glamberts got it done!

Adam Lambert Talks to Pop on the Pop, Says 'Writing Trespassing Felt Scary!'

Adam Lambert is one of the most talented singers to ever compete on American Idol, but his talent is only one of the reasons why his passionate fans love him. Adam, a San Diego native, hasn't "gone Hollywood." He's open, honest, makes himself accessible to fans, and he remains gracious and kind. Lambert is touring with Queen this summer and his new album, Trespassing, debuted in the no.1 slot on iTunes, but he still remains so down to earth.

Sweet Jesus, Adam is f*cking hawt in person! Lawd have mercy.

I took a photo with Adam outside of American Idol yesterday and he was the cutest! Me being 5'4 and Adam being around 6'3 (with the platform heels he was wearing), he squatted down a bit so that he wouldn't tower over me in my photo. I was wearing heels so I wasn't that short to begin with, but that's Adam for you! Most celebs quickly pose, don't make any eye contact and go on with their business, but not The Glam One! Glamberts should be happy to know that Adam's thoughtful.

Luckily, like most of my celebrity encounters, Adam did not disappoint. I was unable to get to many of my questions, but I was pleased with my interview and I hope you will be too. * Sidenote, Adam was walking out of the room when he walked over to the food table. He almost grabbed a can of soda but opted for a bottle of water and he took one cracker. He really is watching what he eats these days!

When you describe Trespassing it sounds sort of therapeutic. Was it therapeutic for you to make the album?

Definitely! I mean I think the upbeat, kind of rebellious dance tracks are very much an extension of my viewpoint on life, the way I like to live my life freely and proudly. Hopefully it inspires people to do the same. And then the second half of the album definitely is a bit more revealing. I think it's the most personal I've gotten as a songwriter in my career, so it felt really... it felt a little scary but I think that the result is something that people can feel. I hope they're feeling that, ya know?

Trespassing was pushed back a few times, but the delay didn't deter any fans. The two photos above are two more of the exclusive photos that come in the deluxe version of Adam's new disc.

If there's any artist in today's pop music who deserves major success, it's Adam! Not only does he make great music, but he's constantly promoting other artists on his Twitter so now it's our time to support the glam one. Let's keep him at the top of the charts, right where he should be.

Adam Lambert Feels Like "The Weird Kid"

Adam Lambert brought his sexy self to Vh1's Big Morning Buzz show to talk about his new album, Trespassing, gay marriage, upcoming performances with Queen, what it was like to work with Bruno Mars and more. Adam said that Bruno is "the nicest guy" and that he was intimidated by Bruno because he admires him so much. Adam wrote "Outlaws of Love" about gay marriage to reflect how he was feeling about the struggle for gay couples to marry. Towards the end of Lambert's interview, he takes some questions from his Glamberts who the host calls "freaks." Check it out!

Adam Lambert on Sauli Koskinen: 'I Have an Amazing Relationship"

Adam Lambert has never been very private. When Adam was asked if he was gay, he went ahead and said that he was on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. When he had his E! True Hollywood Story he gave TMI, and when he gets annoyed, he Tweets about it, so leave it to Adam to be honest about his relationship with Sauli Koskinen instead of saying 'I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT THAT!'

Lambert tells The Associated Press: "I fell in love, which is great. I have an amazing relationship." Adam also explains why it's difficult to date when you're a celebrity.

"Dating while famous is a different animal. It's a different set of challenges. It makes you potentially more desirable to this, that and the other person, but you also have to deal with, "Does this person have ulterior motives? What is the real reason for the attraction?" ... For someone like me who thinks far too much and is neurotic, that can get a little maddening after a while."

Adam on "The Voice" and "The X Factor": I think that it's great that there are shows out there giving people that platform. It's really difficult to make it in the music industry. These shows are great because they show what the person is capable of and their journey and process of becoming an artist. ... I think the difficult thing is the transition between TV competition series and going into the actual music industry. There still seems to be a slight disconnect there. Hopefully, they're fixing that.

Adam Lambert: Trespasing Box Set Photos

Adam Lambert is blessing his fans with all of the photos from his Trespassing box set. There are a total of six new images, but The Glam One has only released two so far. This is, like, the best kind of foreplay. I have no problem waiting to behold beauty of epic proportions!

Adam is one sexy muthafuka and I could stare at him all day. Those eyes, those lips, that hair, that stare... This isn't the first time Adam has seduced his horny fans. He's shirtless on the cover of his acoustic album. I'm down for a good teasing session, expecting that the final photo will feature some HD full frontal action.

Adam Lambert Rocks Jimmy Kimmel Live

Adam Lambert has been promoting the hell out of his new album, Trespassing, and he seems intent on expanding his obsessive fan base and claiming the number one spot on the charts. If the crowd reaction during last night's performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live is any indication, the Glam One should have no problem reaching his goal.

Adam burned through several songs in an outdoor set that felt more like a full-blown concert than a late night TV appearance. Check out his performance of the album's title song above to see what we mean.

The release of Trespassing has been pushed back to May 15 to make room for further tweaking and collaborations. By that time, Glambert fans should pretty much be foaming at the mouth, ready to give their boy a number one album.

Adam Lambert: 'Gay is Fierce! Haters Keep Hating!'

It has been far too long since I've covered Adam Lambert and I'm going through withdrawals, so here's some 'new' Glambert news for ya. Adam is a proud gay man who doesn't like it when people give him backhanded compliments. He also has haters for some reason, but he doesn't mind. They motivate him to keep going. He should start a gossip blog!

Lambert posted these messages last month, but they're just as relevant today as they were weeks ago. Better late than never! Last year Adam vowed to "keep it as real as possible at all times. No more pageant-style p.c. smile and wave, smoke blowin, fake BS."

I didn't think about the whole "even though" you're gay thing at all, probably because I'm not a gay mainstream singer and I love folks because they're gay.

Adam is insulted, but it's great that his talent transcends homophobia. In a way that's the ultimate compliment, but being African-American, I get it. It's annoying when people put in effort to be so blunt about your differences. The man has a point!
