Alanis Morissette, 36, gave birth to son Ever Imre on Christmas, her rep confirms. The talented songwriter announced her pregnancy in August; she married Mario 'Souleye' Treadway, 30, on May 22 at their Los Angeles home.

Alanis' rep said "All are healthy and happy."

Morissette admitted before the birth that the pregnancy had been a surprise, albeit a happy one. She enjoyed one last send-off before motherhood commenced, and was seen beaming and showing off her bump at a baby shower in October.

I wondered if this Alanis Morissette would ever settle down and be happy! Who would want to marry a woman who may write a hate song about you later like she did with Dave Coulier and her hit song 'You Ougtha Know'.

In Us' "25 Things You Don't Know About Me" section, Morissette lists "I am pregnant!" as No. 25. Morissette wed rapper Souleye, 30 (real name: Mario Treadway), this past May 22 at their Los Angeles home.

"We're very excited to embark on this journey with each other," she wrote on her Twitter page at the time.

The woman who wrote one of the best breakup songs in music history has a new reason to write upbeat love songs now. Alanis Morissette got married on May 22.

Alanis was formerly engaged to Ryan Reynolds, but now she's married to Mario Treadway, 30. Mario is also a rapper named Souleye. Alanis and Mario began quietly dating in 2009. In other words, this wasn't a shotgun wedding. In fact, they lived together and they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at their Los Angeles home. Alanis and Mario's families were in attendance.

Morissette's rep confirms the news. It is the first marriage for the couple, who wed a week before Morissette's 36th birthday.

Alanis Morissette sang the Star Spangled Banner before tonight's World Series game in Philadelphia. Although she has one of the most distinctive voices and styles that we've ever heard, Alanis' rendition wasn't amazing by any means. None of that matters, though, cause I love this woman and she'll always have a loyal fan base.
