Adrianne got to blogging:
So many people keep asking me the same two questions over and over that I decided to just write a blog on it.
Why am I not featured with the rest of the winners on America’s Next Top Model’s opening Credits, and why do they not have a room “dedicated” to me like the rest of the winners? Then, I get people asking if it upsets me, etc.
Yep, you guys were right, I am not shown on either the opening credits or featured on the walls of the house the girls live in. I frankly could give a shit less. It seems very petty and immature for Tyra & Co. to try to act like the first winner of their show never existed.
All I did was raise my voice when I didn’t get what I was promised. Were they THAT surprised that I would be outspoken about it? COME ON! I have since extended the olive branch to them, told them I was sorry about anything hurtful I said (I was pissed!)….but that I was NOT sorry for outting them on their bullshit.
If you look at my myspace profile, you will see that I posted a pic of TYRA and Top Model. Why? Because I am mature enough to realize that I wouldn’t have been able to work to get where I am today if I hadn’t landed that show. I give them credit where they deserve it ALL THE TIME.
I AM grateful for what I did get out of the show. However, unlike the winners after me, my show wasn’t that popular. Not very many people watched the first season at all. It wasn’t untill I had MADE A NAME FOR MYSELF and generated attention OUTSIDE of top model that people watched my season.
VH1 started airing my season of top model AFTER The Surreal Life I was on had already finished. Top Model wasn’t even originally on VH1! So, I like to give myself credit for that. ; )
So, as much as they want to hurl insults my way and to “disown” me publicly, they can’t change the fact that I was the first…and that I have worked my ASS OFF to climb to the top. It’s been 4 years now, and I still have more press, work, etc then any of the other girls from the show.(Though Elyse is doing quite well in Hong Kong I hear). I am an international star now.
Top Model, Surreal Life, and My Fair Brady has airred in almost every country in the world. So, I THANK Tyra for what she did do for me…and for NOT giving me what I thought I would get when I won. If she had, I wouldn’t have worked as fucking hard as I did to become as successful as I am.
Never in my wildiest dreams did I think I would make it this far. I am grateful beyond words! I will never forget where I came from…or what got me here. America’s Next Top Model changed my life.
I am not mad at Tyra or Top Model for not putting me on there. It’s her show, and she can make any choice she wants. I myself will not be taking down her pic off my page, I think it’s stupid.
So there ya have it. Lets move on, shall we?? ; )
Yes gurlfriend, we can move on. America’s Next Top Model is trash now anyway. I can’t sit through it for more than 2 minutes, seriously. I’m glad Adrianne worked hard to build a name for herself!! She has a positive outlook too plus she’s fun and crazy.

So hawt!

It’s refreshing to see any top models other than the past two seasons. The show is trash now. The girls are fug, boring, and Jay, (not miss Jay Alexander), but the other Jay keeps talking shit about these poor girls every photoshoot. He won’t say it to your face, but he’ll have Tyra read his mess out loud on the judging panel. Over it.
Juicy-News
Tyra Banks is brilliant! America would not be the same without her. She’s an interesting (the worst) talk show host around right now. She’s also a “fierce” host of America’s Next Top Model. Everything that spews from her mouth on the show is… well, I’ll let you decide.
Notable quotes from last Wednesday’s America’s Next Top Model broadcast:
Ms. Banks encouraged fug contestant Jaslene, a Puerto Rican contestant (who has been referred to as “Little Miss Cha Cha” more than once on the program), to embrace her culture.
Tyra then gave us an example of what embracing your culture truly is. “I sit up here and snap my fingers and say, ‘Girl, you lookin’ hoochie!’” Tyra preached. “Because that’s my culture.”
Tyra’s nonsense continued…
On Oprah: “I actually studied that Oprah episode and copied her body movements and phrases she used, exactly like she did them. She’s my idol!”
On Self-love: “I was having trouble sleeping that night, so I got outta bed, went over to my computer, and Googled myself. This time I typed in Tyra fatand, child, I had no idea what was about to pop up on that screen.”
On Cellulite: “Usher was in the audience one year and I was soooooo paranoid that he saw my booty dimples.”
On Looking Busted: “I looked so funny at the flea market with my award show hair and Ugg-type Timberland boots on. Oh well, I loved my hair and I didn’t want it to go to waste so there I was at the flea market, looking kinda crazy, but FIERCE!!!!!”
On Herself, Rosa Parks 2.0: “I was the first African-American model to ever land the cover of that magazine. As we celebrate Black History Month this February, I can’t help but be proud of what I accomplished a decade ago.”

Ads for The CW’s Top Model 8, which debuts tomorrow night, have been removed from buses in Santa Monica.
“It’s a matter of public taste. We try to be sensitive to the community,” the city’s director of transit services, Stephanie Negriff, told Variety.
The city received complaints not necessarily because of the photograph itself, but because, as Variety explains, “protests came from people concerned that the city was somehow endorsing a show that may objectify women.”
Negriff said the city took down the ads and refunded The CW’s money because “We wouldn’t want to do anything that would disrespect women.”
Of all the things to complain about?! I’m guessing some big girls were behind most of these complaints.
The Delta Zeta sorority used “fatism.” This is some straight up “skinnyism.” And I don’t support either cause. I support “acceptism” aka acceptance, or just not talking shit to peoples’ faces and, er, don’t exclude big girls cuz, um… huh?
The Top Model ads are fine.

Adrianne Curry, who was the Season One winner of “America’s Next Top Model,” has lambasted the show and Revlon, claiming that she “has yet to see a dime from Revlon” for her work.
“We were told the winner would be an instant millionaire, that our faces would be plastered everywhere in Revlon ads. None of which turned out to be true … I still haven’t got paid for the work I did for them!” steamed Curry.
Miss Curry is super mad at the supermodel show, blasting them on her MySpace blog, saying “… they had no money … no clue what they were doing … all they had was mind f***ing us for good tv [sic].”
Adrianne also claims that the girls hardly slept during filming, were kept hungry for long periods and were crammed into small quarters to guarantee drama. The Revlon campaign “turned out to be only a day’s work at a convention.”
Adrianne, who married “Brady Bunch” babe Christopher Knight last May, added that “Top Model felt like I was on a fierce ‘Survivor!’”
A rep for “Top Model” had no comment.
Adrianne is gorgeous and I think she had a real chance at becoming a huge model, but she’s had to sell out on VH1 with her baby faced Brady hubby.
Who woulda thought Top Model was this shady?! Tyra always brags about being cheap, but Revlon better fix this, like yesterday. I may boycott their makeup that I don’t purchase or use, now that’s a threat.
