Angelina Jolie's luscious pair of big lips appear on the new issue of Marie Claire magazine where she let her hair down and had some fun during her photoshoot. Angie's new movie, In the Land of Blood and Honey, opens in Los Angeles and New York. She wrote and directed the project about the Bosnian war. Jolie talks about her new movie, her lack of female friends, Bradley Pitt, her kids and more!

How did she write? Some of the very darkest sections were probably conceived in Shiloh’s art class; I was in the back corner, waiting for the kids to finish. And then somehow it slowly ended up being read by Brad, and then friends. There was a discussion of making it, and I just was terrified to hand it over to anybody. It wasn’t that I said, ‘I’m going to write something, and I want to direct it.’

On girlfriends: It was nice for me to play with other girls; I don’t really have girlfriends in movies, if you’ve noticed. Well, I have a few girlfriends. I just…I stay home a lot. I’m just not very social. I don’t do a lot with them, and I’m very homebound.

Eventually quitting acting: That doesn’t mean I’m stopping tomorrow. But I woke up one day realizing, God, I’m an actor. I don’t think I intended to be an actor. I think my mother wanted it for me. I loved telling stories, and I enjoyed the profession, but it is too late to be something else?

On Brad Pitt: He has expanded my life in ways I never imagined. We built a family. He is not just the love of my life, he is my family. I hold that very dear. I suppose what I’ve learned from Brad is to be able to have the kind of family whose happiness and well-being comes before your own. I’m very, very grateful to have such a loving family, and I wouldn’t have that without him.

A lot of attention has been paid to Angelina Jolie's physique lately, with plenty of bizarre rumors circulating about the extremes the actress goes to to conform to the Hollywood norm. But the new issue of Us Weekly claims that Angelina's scary skinny appearance has little to do with vanity.

According to an anonymous source close to Angelina, her rapid weight loss is the result of her work as a UN goodwill ambassador. The source claims Angelina, “puts herself on fasts to make statements for the children she visits,” under the reasoning of "‘if they can’t eat, I can’t eat.’”

Angelina may be a little crazy (and crazily devoted to her charity campaigns) but I have a hard time believing a cultured, intelligent mother of six would put her own health in jeopardy as part of some misguided attempt to better relate to the children she's trying to help. If any part of this report is true then Angelina is doing her UN work for all the wrong reasons, and she needs to pull back and limit her philanthropy to adopting a Sally Struthers kid, or something. You can't help anyone if you're passed out from malnutrition, Ange.

People have been saying that Angelina Jolie is batsh!t loony for years, but a new report claims the actress has been riding the crazy train harder than ever lately. The new issue of In Touch magazine supposedly features an interview with an anonymous assistant of Angelina's who makes some shocking accusations about one of the world's most famous women.

The source says that Angelina is unbelievably stressed and has been behaving more eccentrically than ever. She supposedly lives on soup, gets drunk regularly, and locks her six kids in their bedrooms when she's feeling stressed. I don't really buy these claims, but aside from the soup diet thing, I would totally understand if they were true. I think anyone with six freakin' kids is entitled to lock them all up and get hammered now and then.

So I wouldn't really blame Angelina for enjoying some quality time with the bottle, but I find it hard to believe she's stressed to the breaking point. When multi-millionaires are having a hard time raising their kids, they don't flip out and go on a bender, they just hire an army of nannies. Hell, when you're as rich as Angelina, you don't need an excuse to go on a bender.

Angelina Jolie's highly anticipated interview with 60 Minutes aired last night... Well, every single Angelina Jolie interview is somewhat highly anticipated. She's fiercely private, which preserves the public's interest in her. Imagine what would happen to her image if she was Tweeting, for example! She's a smart girl.

Angelina Jolie allegedly weighs around 97 pounds and she rarely eats a full meal, if she eats at all. According to Grazia magazine, Angelina has as little as 600 calories a day.

'Angelina has been known to start her day with little more than a spoonful of coconut oil and a handful of cereal,' a source told Grazia last week.

She is "so busy" that she often forgets to eat. She'll skip lunch or grab a few almonds and some gummy bears while she's on the go. Other times she'll have a protein-based shake.

Jolie reportedly loses her appetite when she's stressed and she can survive on almost nothing.

We don't need some predictable new rumor to surface in order to see that Angelina needs to gain weight. She's been a bobblehead for years, and I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Brad has argued with her about her shrinking figure, but she clearly just doesn't care.

The gorgeous Angelina Jolie had a rare, in-depth interview with 60 Minutes, which airs this Sunday. The mother of six is grateful to be alive.

Angelina used to be a heavy drug user, but surprisingly she never overdosed. She is well aware of how lucky she is, but she also hasn't entirely ditched her wild side; Angie reveals that she saves that for Brad Pitt (aka the bedroom).

On what she's been through: I went through heavy, darker times and I survived them.

On surviving: I didn't die young, so I'm very lucky. There are other artists and people who didn't survive certain things.

On what those "certain things" were: I think people can imagine that I did the most dangerous and I did the worst, and for many reasons I shouldn't be here. You think of those too many times where you came close to too many dangerous things, too many chances taken too far.

On being bad: I'm still a bad girl. I still have that side of me. It's just in its place now. ... It belongs to Brad.

Coolest Mom Ever Angelina Jolie took Shiloh Jolie Pitt, 5, and Zahara, 6, to have their ears pierced in London. The Sun reports that Angelina went to a small salon where Zaraha picked out some 18-carat gold studs.

Angelina Jolie and Gwen Stefani are still friends for some reason. Gwen and Angie became close after they both gave birth within a day of each other in 2006. Angelina is in London while Brad Pitt shoots his film away. Angelina went to Gwen and Gavin's house in London yesterday for a playdate with Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox.

The Daily Mail reports that Angelina sent her security guard to get dinner from a local restaurant. Diva!

The Hollywood mothers are said to have a firm friendship, which has largely played out away from the cameras. Gwen joined Angelina and Brad for a celebratory dinner in May after the premiere of his film Tree of Life.

Gavin and Brad bonded in 2006 and they were spotted jet skiing and riding quad bikes together.

Hmmm! Seriously, my cognitive dissonance is just too intense. Is Angelina girly behind the scenes? Do they talk about fashion or sex, or getting their nails done, or their kids? Angie has a very cold stare and you'd think that Angelina's b!tch face alone would make Gwen start bawling, but I do love this friendship. It proves that there is so much more to Angelina than meets the eye. We just need someone on their staff to leak one of their conversations, stat.

Mother of six, Angelina Jolie continues to raise bi-lingual, if not multilingual, outdoors loving, fearless, cultured children... am I forgetting something? The 36 year-old actress was photographed taking her son Maddox with her on a flying lesson in Hampshire, England today.

Maddox had an iPad with him. Angelina received her pilot's license in 2005 when she said: "Every time Mad sees a plane, he's amazed. If I could actually fly a plane. . . I'll be like Superman to him."

Maddox, 10, isn't the only Jolie-Pitt kid to accompany Angelina on a flaying lesson. Shiloh, 5, has also joined her mom in a small aircraft last year in Los Angeles. Angelina is such a fun mother, no wonder Brad Pitt said he's glad he chose Angelina to have his babies.

It's time to catch up with the Jolie-Pitts! Angelina Jolie is a hands on mom, at least for the cameras, and she's been taking Zahara, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and crew all over London for some fun. Just days ago Shiloh and Zahara were spotted getting on the famous London Eye ride.

I can't get enough of the Jolie-Pitt family photos. I am obsessed!

I have helped to raise many children, babysitting since I was nine years old and few things in life are more rewarding than teaching kids how to walk, talk, read, write and become awesome human beings. I still talk to some of 'em on the phone, too, which is the ultimate mind f*ck. Since we are unable to physically be there to watch celebrity kids grow up, looking at their photos through the years is entertaining, to say the least. I hope Angelina has at least one more biological kid and another adopted one wouldn't hurt either. I've also thrown in some other family pics from London that I was unable to post before.
