I mean, does this loser warrant all this attention? She dumped him. Relationship over. They weren’t married. They don’t have any kids. It’s ova, y’all! I am interested in finding out what his sentence will be, though. He’s an overnight star. Expect him to write a book and star in a reality show about his trial. Vh1, that’s money!

Anne Hathaway’s ex Raffaello Follieri appeared in Manhattan federal court Tuesday to face 12 counts of wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering.
Judge Henry B. Pitman set bail at $21 million ($16 million must be paid in cash or by liquid assets or property; $5 million must come from financially responsible co-signers).
Follieri, a 29-year-old Italian businessman, was also forced to hand over all travel documents and placed on home detention. He is not allowed to leave his NYC home except for legal, religious and medical reasons. (If he leaves, he must wear an electronic-monitoring device.)
Federal prosecutors argued that they had “overwhelming” evidence that Follieri improperly spent up to $6 million from investors to live a lavish lifestyle — including expensive restaurants and clothes; a privately chartered jet with Hathaway; dog walking services; an opulent NYC apartment that leased for approximately $37,000 per month.
At court, Follieri (who could get life in prison) appeared angry, often shaking his head or interrupting his attorney to tell her what to say, the Associated Press reports.
“In short, your honor, he is a con man, and he was able to defraud a lot of people out of a lot of money over a long period of time,” Prosecutor Reed Michael Brodsky said.
The prosecutor also claimed Follieri tested positive for opiates during a routine drug test shortly after his arrest Tuesday morning.
Italian businessman Raffaello Follieri, whom Get Smart actress Anne Hathaway broke up with earlier this month, has been arrested for fraud and money laundering.Follieri, no stranger to scandals, has been accused of lying to investors, claiming to be the CFO of the Vatican, the Associated Press reports. He is due in Manhattan federal court Tuesday.
Hathaway, 25, is not mentioned by name in the complaint against Follieri, 29, but he’s accused of using the swindled funds in question for a trip to the Dominican Republic over New Years 2005/2006 with his “then girlfriend” and another couple.
According to the papers filed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, he also used the funds for his $37,000-a month-apartment rent, medical bills for himself and his “then girlfriend” as well as orthodontist bills for his father.
The complaint also charges that he kept clergy robes in his office and once asked a monsignor to change into the uniform of a more senior clergyman in order to beef up his alleged Vatican connections.
According to another new press release the U.S. Attorney’s Office issued, Follieri could go to prison for life.
50 Cent is suing Shaniqua Tomkins for defamation for claims he set her home a blaze, now she’s filed a restraining order out against him. 50 hasn’t seen his son since the fire and Shaniqua would like to keep it that way. I can’t blame her.

Tompkins got a temporary restraining order against Fiddy, which, we’re told, will require him to forfeit any guns and other firearms — and any pickup and drop off of Marquise must be “at curbside.” He’s also not allowed to be on any premises where Shaniqua is, but there’s no distance specified.Shaniqua’s lawyer Paul Catsandonis says that they will be arguing for a permanent restraining order against the rapper next month.

Charlie Sheen is apologizing for a three-year-old voicemail that ex Denise Richards made public.
The voicemail included a curse-filled rant from Sheen calling Richards – the mother of their two young daughters Sam, 4, and Lola, 3 – a “f–king c–t” and a “f–king n—-r.”
In response, the Two and a Half Men star said in a statement released Wednesday, “I deeply apologize by my choice of words to all I have obviously offended; especially to Tony Todd, an African-American, who was my best man at my first two weddings.”
It’s kind of funny how people always have to say, “I’m not racist, I have black friends!” It’s the standard excuse. I’d like to say I’ve never used a line like this before, but I’d be lying.
I was at a party the other week and I met this hilarious gay dude and I was asking him all kinds of questions, claiming I wanted to get a ‘gay perspective.’ He said “It’s not like I’m a unicorn,” and I was making him feel weird, but we laughed about it and it was funny. I tried to defend myself saying, ‘No! I honestly have a lot of gay friends. I do. I love gay people.’ You know you’re in trouble when you gotta use the “I have (fill in the blank) friends” line. At that point, some lines have already been crossed.
