After rumors that the conservative Malaysian government banned the scheduled Aug. 29 concert for being "too sexy," Lavigne told MTV News that the show will definitely go on.

"I've actually been approved by the government to play a show," Lavigne said on Thursday. "I've already sold 10,000 tickets there, so I will be going to put a concert on for the fans."

Addressing concerns over her sexy image, Lavigne says, "They tend to, you know, sometimes not want Western artists in their country. I respect that, but at the same time, you know, there's people that listen to music there and want to see their idols and stuff, so it's all good."

Lavigne is not the first to have a brush with the conservative Malaysian government: Gwen Stefani was forced to cover up her famous midriff in Malaysia last year, and the Pussycat Dolls were fined in 2006 for violating Malaysia's strict indecency codes.

Magazine editors and journalists aren't worried about Ashton Kutcher's new show, Pop Fiction, hurting their credibility. One editor points out the Avril Lavigne 'pregnant' story and admits they never took it seriously after seeing her drinking in Miami. I never took the Avril story seriously because the bitch is too self centered to pop out a kid.

One editor sneers, "Ashton's not a journalist. One of the stories was about Avril Lavigne being pregnant. But everyone watched her in Miami, and reporters caught her drinking. A fake belly doesn't get by us. "There's nothing these people do that we don't know about before they get there. We know everything. Ninety percent of their lives are put together by other people. It's almost like these celebs have LoJack. It's easy to track them. "

Star mag ran a picture of Paris and her "guru," but reported that it was a stunt. "We never took it seriously," Star editor in chief Candace Trunzo tells us. "After a while, you learn what smells." Kutcher's crusade for truth won't affect Star's coverage of Kutcher and his wife, Demi Moore, Trunzo says. "He's only semi-interesting," she says. "He doesn't sell a lot of mags. If we're lucky Ashton will admit most of his acting career is part of his pop fiction show too. You can't really get casted in movies when your acting is that bad, can you?!? I haven't even watched one entire episode of his new show but did catch the one about Eva Longoria and Mario Lopez, which was completely retarded. Hearing Eva hyene laugh was enough of a reason for me to change the channel.

Her 3rd album, The Best Damn Thing, sucks (although her track "Innocence" is really beautiful), her first album, Let Go, is mediocre, and her 2nd, Under My Skin, is her best. Avril Lavigne and her hubby Deryck Whibley took a little vacay down in Miami with Avril's older brother and his girlfriend over the past couple days since Deryck's band Sum 41 had a gig on the 26th. Avril's got some cute lil perky ta ta's and I'm totally diggin' her purple hoody!

Tony Dunbar and James Gangwer had claimed that Avril Lavigne's hit "Girlfriend" was ripped off from one of their songs in the late 70's called "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend". The two have released a statement taking back the harsh claims, and now say Avril did nothing wrong in the first place.

"We are satisfied that any similarities between the two songs resulted from Avril and Luke's use of certain common and widely used lyrics. We therefore completely exonerate Avril and Luke from any wrongdoing of any kind in connection with the claims made by us in our lawsuit."

Whatever. They're just happy they got some publicity because who really ever heard of "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend" before this lawsuit came up?

Citing an "insider," Canadian radio host Zack Taylor wrote, "Avril is a month-and-a-half pregnant and that her husband, Deryck Whibley has been telling all his friends that he's excited to be a father." But the rocker's label rep says, "It's not true."

I have to call it what it is. You know Avril begged Paris to hang out.

Paris doesn't need any more publicity, but Avril needs to sell tickets to her tour and that hasn't been going so well. I think what I love most about Avril is that she always seems to hang out without her frying pan face husband, Deryck. She's obviously so ashamed. I give them two more years tops.
