Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, along with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, are throwing David and Victoria Beckham a "Welcome to America" party on Sunday. Our tipster reports, "Invitations went out all over Hollywood . . . they were printed on red velvet with tacky gold lettering."

I can understand maybe a welcome to LA / the neighborhood type of party but not a welcome to America party. I can't wait to see the photos from this all American shin dig! Any party with Tom Cruise involved just has to be a good old time. He'll throw some roofies in their drinks so he can convert them to Scientology before the night's over.

Victoria Beckham knows how to keep a secret! Turns out she was a smoker, but she did a really good job at keeping her habit away from the paps!

Posh, 33, has been a secret smoker for years, sucking on her nicotine sticks away from cameras and prying eyes. But she wants her voice to be on top form for the Spice Girls reunion tour so won't be lighting up.

Hubby David, 32, is also said to be keen for the mum-of-three to quit the habit for good. ‘I can find better notes now â€" and David hated me puffing away too,' Victoria is reported to have admitted.

Vicky's spokesperson confirmed she's given up ciggies, but says she quit while pregnant with son Cruz, now 2. ‘She was only ever a social smoker and was never on 40 a day,' she tells the Daily Star. Posh has never been photographed smoking.

Good for Posh! But too bad she's gonna be croaking through the Spice Girls tour. She didn't have a voice to lose, but she's cute for thinking that she did. Awwww...

The Spice Girls announced their world tour a few days ago, but they're already fighting! Ego vs. ego, it's gettin' ugly real quick.

"On the outside the girls are pals and everything is fantastic. But behind the scenes the Spice Girls' wars have started again - and the egos have landed.

The source explained that Melanie Brown had already been backing out of meetings and turning up late for other events: "It was as if she was giving a two-fingered salute to the others. She was also acting crazy, spouting all sorts of stuff, and desperate to show off. It was like, ‘Listen everyone, I'm the craziest person here.'"

But it seems like tensions between Geri and Victoria might be the ultimate downfall. A source told People that the women have been accusing each other of using the tour for their own ends.

Seven years after splitting up, the Spice Girls have announced a worldwide comeback spectacular.The girl band will kick off a world tour in America. The five - now all in their thirties - will start on 7 December in Los Angeles - the new home of Posh Spice Victoria Beckham and her family.

The reunion tour, which is set to hit London on December 15 and take in Madrid, Koln, Las Vegas, Sydney, Cape Town and Buenos Aires among others (scroll to bottom for list of dates and locations) will certainly be lucrative for the Spices.

They are expected to pocket about £10 million each.

I didn't realize Posh was a real person anymore? All I ever see is tits and pout (she has no ass folks) and rarely hear her speak. Also during their concert they are using a 'virtual voice' which will basically cover for their horrible singing when they sing out of tune. What happened to pure singing entertainment?
