Although Brooke Hundley believed that Steve Phillips loved her and they were destined to be together, Phillips is saying something entirely different.

Steve has been released from sex rehab. Coincidentally, he was being treated at the same facility where Tiger Woods is currently receiving treatment. Although the fired ESPN baseball analyst isn't saying much about his treatment, he is taking responsibility for his destructive and selfish behavior.

In a new interview with Matt Lauer of the Today Show, Steve said, "I couldn't stop myself from doing the things I was doing, even knowing the consequences."

Phillips wife, Marni, had filed for divorce. The couple had been married for 19 years. He has four children. He said he has returned to his home, but doesn't know if his marriage can be saved.

Like David Letterman, who also said he has a lot of work to do to restore his marriage, Steve is aware of the pain that he has caused, saying, "I've broken my wife's heart .I've damaged her and our relationship in a terrible way."

As far as the sexual relationship he engaged in with Brooke Hundley goes, Steve said, "All of that is in the past. My focus is moving forward, trying to save my family."

Today seems to be all about Z-listers getting their extra 15 minutes of fame. Our latest edition to the wannabe famous list is Brooke Hundley, who was the fug chick that was banging ESPN analyst Steve Phillips.

Brooke did an interview with Good Morning America and says she admits she caused pain to Marni Phillips by detailing in a letter the sexual relationship she was having with Steve Phillips, but she didn't do it intentionally.

"I simply wanted somebody to get upset enough to have an impact, to get me out of this horrific situation."

Brooke also said she was afraid to tell ESPN's human resources department that she was sleeping with one of their sportscasters.

"I was in a situation where I felt like if I didn't do what was asked of me, then everything I had worked for, for the past six years, everything I had done to establish myself as a successful media professional, could be gone like that."

If I remember correctly, they were both let go from ESPN after news of the affair started circulating around the Internet, so it sounds like everything worked out well for you, Brooke! Steve is in rehab right now for sex addiction and how cool would it be if he was on the next season of VH1's Sex Rehab?

During Sunday night's Game 6 of the ALCS, ESPN announced that Steve Phillips had been fired. 

In a statement, the network said:

"Steve Phillips is no longer working for ESPN. His ability to be an effective representative for ESPN has been significantly and irreparably damaged, and it became evident it was time to part ways."

Meanwhile Steve's representative, Steve Lefkowitz, said that Phillips "voluntarily" admitted himself to an in-patient treatment facility "to address his personal issues."

The statement from Steve Lefkowitz did not specify the nature of Phillips issues, and the shamed broadcaster was believed to be planning to check himself in several days before ESPN gave him the axe.

Steve was given a leave of absence for a week after his affair with Brooke Hundley became public. Steve and Brooke had a sexual relationship over the summer and she allegedly stalked him and showed up at his house in mid-August.

Steve was a regular in the game booth on Sunday nights.

This entire affair was worthless, but if it's a catalyst for Steve's recovery, then I guess some good came from his philandering with Brooke.

You take ONE LOOK at Brooke's face and you know the man is a sex addict. Hopefully he'll get better. Especially considering that he allegedly uses a 'I had a vasectomy, no condom necessary' panty-dropping line, the man could get a fatal STD. He needs to quit already!

Why I believe Steve's a sex addict. The proof is in the fug:

We've all figured out by now that Brooke Hundley isn't just a home wrecker, but she's also a crazy b*tch! Looney girl filed a restraining order against Steve the day after she dropped off the sex confession letter to his wife.

In the complaint, Brooke basically says Steve took advantage of her claiming Steve "bought me a strong drink and then cornered me ... trying to persuade me to come to his hotel suite to spend the night." Everything she wrote in the letter to Steve's wife paints a whole different picture. She also says Steve planned on getting her fired if she told his wife they were doing the nasty.

Brooke claims Steve tried to ruin her career after word got out that they were sleeping together -- calling her a "slut" and saying he would get her fired if she spilled the beans to his wife. Hundley withdrew the complaint September 15 -- that same day, she posted this on her Facebook page: "I've seen evil and he wears khaki pants and bright blue polos. Out of court, and back to basketball."

Can we say, psycho? Steve got himself in the middle of some serious fatal attraction bullsh*t! Now that we see what a nut job she is, Steve Phillips has to regret hooking up with her in the first place. That's what happens when you fool around behind your wife's back. Karma's a b*tch!

Brooke Hundley shouldn't feel special about sleeping with Steve Phillips because she wasn't the first notch in his man-whore belt. Steve knocked boots with former Mets employees including Rosa Rodriguez who is pictured below. She's all smiles since Steve's cheatin' ways have been busted out in the media.

Back when Steve was managing the Mets, he spoke with female employees about "the importance of maintaining a wholesome image" all while he was poking a few on the side. He took a leave of absence (hmm, sounds familiar!) back in 1998 when he learned a former Mets employee was planning to sue him and the team for sexual harassment.

When Phillips returned to work, he admitted to having a "brief, consensual relationship" with the woman and having "consensual sexual relationships" with other women during his marriage. One of them was Rodriguez.

Man, Steve Phillips gets all the hotties doesn't he? I bet he poked 'em from the back so he didn't have to look at their fug mugs.

After looking at this new round of Brooke Hundley photos, I'm getting some insight into why she went batsh*t after Steve Phillips dumped her.

Steve was probably the hottest piece that Brooke has ever been with, and possibly one of the few pieces she has ever been with.

She's a greedy, delusional homewrecker who tried to break up a marriage cause let's face it - who in their right mind would wanna take this walrus on?

'Straight fug' takes on a whole new meaning. She's not even slightly attractive.

There's a lot we can learn from taking a course from Brooke Hundley's How to be a Psycho Stalker 101.

1st) When you're a home wrecker, you must stop at nothing to try to break up a marriage, regardless of how long your man has been married or how many kids he has (Steve has 4 sons).

And 2) When in doubt, give details - lots of 'em so that your lover's wifey knows that you have, indeed, had sex with her husband. Rub it in her face. Pour the salt up in her wounds, and grind it in there. It doesn't matter cause you're a "Catholic" who's trying to save your lover from a "loveless marriage."

Here's a breakdown of the crazy that Brooke wrote:

• The first time Brooke sexed Steve in a hotel, she didn't have to worry about getting pregnant cause he had a vasectomy. 

• She's in constant contact via text and hotel phone calls with Marni's husband.

• Steve and Brooke do a lot of sexting, and she's saved the messages as proof.

• According to Brooke, their bond is also heavily about "friendship."

• She calls Steve's third and fourth sons "a band-aid" and what's "holding [Steve] in the marriage." OUCH!

• Steve enjoys being with her cause she has "a passion and drive to really do something" with her life - Like steal someone else's husband!

Brooke makes LeAnn Rimes look like a saint! She's so self-serving and stupid to think that Steve would leave his wife for her, and Brooke was determined to hurt Marni Phillips since she has something that she wants.

Brooke, an ESPN production assistant, is 22 years old. Steve had an affair with her over the summer. When Steve cut her loose, she went psycho, stalking his wife with a nasty letter and calling him like a Kris Allen fan during the American Idol finale.

Brooke may have also used an ESPN computer to stalk Steve's son on Facebook.

Steve said, "I have extreme concerns about the health and safety of my kids and myself," and claims that Brooke has become "obsessive and delusional" after he dumped her.

Phillips isn't pressing charges against her, but he has been given a leave of absence by ESPN for a week. Steve also took a leave of absence as the Mets' GM for infidelity nearly ten years ago. He had several alleged affairs, one with a team employee, Rosa Rodriguez, who sued his a*s for sexual harassment.

I don't feel sorry for Steve at all and I hope his wife gets compensated generously. He clearly had no intentions of being faithful. You spread your birthmarked crotch around too much, you're gonna eventually dip it in the wrong hole!
