Twilight's Ashley Greene and Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford were spotted sucking tongues after last Sunday's Teen Choice Awards.

Chace Crawford always seems to have someone in the mix, but although this may be a good ol' booty call or the early stages of a lengthy f*ckship, Chace and Ashley have been friends for a while. They were photographed saying, er, 'goodbye' before Ashley left for Canada to finish shooting the third installment of the Twilight series, Eclipse.

Other than that, they do okay. People always misses the mark with its "hottest" lists.

In Touch is reporting that Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, who split from Paris Hilton less than a month ago, is secretly dating the socialite's on-again/off-again pal, Britney Spears.

"They've been on a few dates," a snitch close to Madden revealed in the December 29 edition of the tab. "They met once at The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills for dinner in a hotel suite."

So far, things are blossoming smoothly for the rumored lovers.

"Larry made some phone calls and Benji ended up being the most interested in being fixed up."

I had a good time watching Gossip Girl last night. I'm proud to say I've gotten into this trash last season. Details magazine dug up some info on Chace's past. All of these boys are absolutely delicious!! Great cover choice. :)

Growing up in the wealthy Dallas suburb of Plano, Crawford says he wasn't anything like his Gossip character, the preppy Nate Archibald.

• He moved on to college to study broadcast journalism at California's Pepperdine University, but dropped out.

• He briefly worked a valet (Suge Knight was a client!) before moving on to modeling. But being handled and positioned made him feel "like an animal," he says.

• When he signed on for Gossip, he says he wasn't sure the show would last. So he asked co-star Ed Westwick to be his roommate.

"Once when we were on location on the Upper East Side," he says, "these girls came up, you know, with the Blair headbands and their skirts hiked up higher than they should be, and I said to them, 'So, are you looking at colleges?' and they said, 'No, we're in seventh grade.'"

Says Crawford, "I was like, 'What?! You shouldn't even be watching our show!'"

I've blogged stories about Ed being a man whore. He's a slut and he's into chicks. Chace probably swings both ways, but Ed was just dating Leighton. And, in summary, this rumor was probably crafted by their publicists to get more attention and buzz to the low-ratings series.

We've been contacted by entertainment reporters - within days of each other - from the NY Post and the NY Daily News. They both wanted to share a juicy piece of info - too juicy to print, they said.

Seems like on-set sources, which the pubs tell us are reliable, have told each paper that Chace Crawford and Gossip Girl co-star and real-life roommate Ed Westwick are in a relationship and not trying to hide it, at least on set.

BOTH NY papers tell us that Chace and Ed were recently seen kissing, open-mouthed on set.

The Post and Daily News both declined to publish this item because they don't like to "out" people. Well, it's either true or someone(s) is/are trying to spread rumors to both New York papers about the Gossip Girl co-stars.

During the Idol Gives Back taping this past weekend Carrie Underwood spoke about her breakup with her ex-hot piece of ass Chace Crawford. Carrie said they broke up through text messaging and I think that's seriously tacky.

"We broke up over text, so it's like 'peace out. It was completely mutual, we're both fine." She said they haven't talked "in a while, but I mean, I don't dislike him. So it's no big deal."
