The new Ike and Tina Turner are reportedly "taking a break." Chris Brown and Rihanna are on opposite coasts right now. This isn't a breakup, but they've decided to put some distance in between them.

RiRi flew to NY last Thursday where she had her bday bash with Brandy, Beyonce and Jay-Z on Friday night, she also had dinner with friends on Saturday night. Hmmm... I'd like to think that her friends have knocked some sense into her, but it's also being reported that Rihanna and Chris Brown plan to see each other soon.

Rihanna's prince charming is chillaxin in Los Angeles, spending time at Record Plant studio, working on his new album.

Britney Spears first #1 song is called "Baby One More Time" and Rihanna is the perfect person to sing "When I'm not with you I lose my mind/ Give me a sign/ Hit me baby one more time." The woman is living the lyrics!

Anyway, I know this story was confirmed yesterday but it's just too good for me to pass up.

Rihanna and Chris were sent to the studio so they could record a love song while tension and emotions ran deep, in an effort to capture it all on audio. Talk about a twisted marketing plan.

I can't wait to hear it and I'm hoping the video will be a recreation of what went down last month. Maybe only then will Rihanna look at herself and realize what a jackass she is becoming.

Chris Brown's spokesperson issued the following statement,

"Chris very much appreciates the support of his fans and the honor they have paid him in the way of nominations for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song. Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding the incident last month has shifted the focus from the music to whether he should be allowed to be among those nominated.

While Chris would like to speak to his fans directly about this and other issues, pending legal proceedings preclude his doing so at this time. Once the matter before him has been resolved, he intends to do so."

Nickelodeon said they're not removing Chris' name from the ballot and if he wins that's because fans voted for him. Ratings ploy. It's good to know that Chris' camp didn't co-sign on that. And there's no specific name cited in CB's press release, only a mention of a "Chris Brown spokesperson." Wonder if he's allegedly sleeping with this rep too?

Rihanna celebrated her belated 21st birthday Tuesday with pals - but not with on-again beau, Chris Brown.

Wearing sunglasses, the singer �" who turned 21 on Feb. 20 �" hit West Hollywood hot spot Coco de Ville. On a private patio with pals, Rihanna was sent a bottle of Armand de Brignac champagne, which she toasted using the club's signature tulip flutes.

She also enjoyed a pink cupcake tower that featured a flower that lit up like a sparkler.

The singer (who wore sunglasses) "looked good," says a club-goer "She was smiling and laughing." - It's so evident that we're more concerned about Rihanna's well being than she is! I wonder what would happen if she kept her hands off of Chris instead of allegedly beating him first time and time again?! Makes you go 'hmmm....,' doesn't it?

Ellen DeGeneres was not backing down, she wanted answers. That's when Diddy got black on her ass and you could tell he was visibly upset before he started dancing.

Why do we have Paris Hilton's BFF show and we don't have one for Diddy?! Even if you just get arrested and need a place to liquor up and fuck your boo, Diddy will let you stay at his mansion. I would so try to compete to be Diddy's BFF. Totally worth it. And, as I've said, I think those who know Chris and Rihanna know that Rihanna's a crazy bitch and they have much more insight than we all do. The woman who left the three-page text message on Brown's cell phone is Tina Davis. Davis -- who turns 40 this month -- was rumored to have had a relationship with Brown when he was 16. Brown and Davis denied it.

The text message to Brown talked about hooking up later -- and it totally pissed off Rihanna. She slapped and hit him and he then brutally fired back.

The detective's affidavit refers to the text message as being "from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with."

Davis could not be reached for comment.

Pop on the Pop previously reported that Rihanna is the one who allegedly initiates the physical violence in her relationship with Chris Brown. As my friend who has worked for two major record labels and currently works for a smaller label said,

Rihanna was probably beating on Chris before he began to strike her back. That's allegedly exactly what had happened!!!!

Welford Hart, who lives with Chris Brown's mother, told the New York Post that Rihanna took off her stilettos and began beating him in the head while he was driving. These two are both great catches!

"When you take off your shoes and beat someone with high heels, that's going to hurt. He reacted and tried to get her to stop hitting him, but she kept screaming."

Today TMZ confirms what we already hinted at. Here's an excerpt from TMZ's post today,

Rihanna was the first one to strike -- slapping and striking Brown "numerous times" while he was driving, after seeing the text message from another woman. And Rihanna was fighting Brown as he punched and hurt her. We're told much of this is reflected in the official police report based on what Rihanna told cops.

Sigh. When will this unhealthy relationship come to an end? Chris Brown will not serve any jail time and Rihanna just may become his Mrs. like my friend also predicted. We just have to wait and see what happens and hope that they will both receive the help that they so desperately need.

They are so much worse than I ever though they were. I am so disgusted by Chris and vehemently disappointed in Rihanna. It's worth the entire read, all, and that's why I'm not even going to break this post to continue into a separate page. This attack was madness! Here goes it:

"Brown was driving a vehicle with Robyn F. as the front passenger on an unknown street in Los Angeles. Robyn F. picked up Brown's cellular phone and observed a three-page text message from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with.

"A verbal argument ensued and Brown pulled the vehicle over on an unknown street, reached over Robyn F. with his right hand, opened the car door and attempted to force her out. Brown was unable to force Robyn F. out of the vehicle because she was wearing a seat belt. When he could not force her to exit, he took his right hand and shoved her head against the passenger window of the vehicle, causing an approximate one-inch raised circular contusion.

"Brown looked at Robyn F. and stated, ‘I'm going to beat the s�"t out of you when we get home! You wait and see!' "

"Robyn F. turned to face Brown and he punched her in the left eye with his right hand. He then drove away in the vehicle and continued to punch her in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left hand. The assault caused Robyn F.'s mouth to fill with blood and blood to splatter all over her clothing and the interior of the vehicle.

The detective said she then used her cell phone to call her personal assistant … who did not answer.

"Robyn F. pretended to talk to her and stated, ‘I'm on my way home. Make sure the police are there when I get there.'

"After Robyn F. faked the call, Brown looked at her and stated, ‘You just did the stupidest thing ever! Now I'm really going to kill you!'

"Brown resumed punching Robyn F. and she interlocked her fingers behind her head and brought her elbows forward to protect her face. She then bent over at the waist, placing her elbows and face near her lap in [an] attempt to protect her face and head from the barrage of punches being levied upon her by Brown.

"Brown continued to punch Robyn F. on her left arm and hand, causing her to suffer a contusion on her left triceps (sic) that was approximately two inches in diameter and numerous contusions on her left hand.

"Robyn F. then attempted to send a text message to her other personal assistant. Brown snatched the cellular telephone out of her hand and threw it out of the window onto an unknown street.

"Brown continued driving and Robyn F. observed his cellular telephone sitting in his lap. She picked up the cellular telephone with her left hand and before she could make a call he placed her in a head lock with his right hand and continued to drive the vehicle with his left hand.

"Brown pulled Robyn F. close to him and bit her on her left ear. She was able to feel the vehicle swerving from right to left as Brown sped away. He stopped the vehicle … and Robyn F. turned off the car, removed the key from the ignition and sat on it.

"Brown did not know what she did with the key and began punching her in the face and arms. He then placed her in a head lock positioning the front of her throat between his bicep and forearm. Brown began applying pressure to Robyn F.'s left and right carotid arteries, causing her to be unable to breathe and she began to lose consciousness.

"She reached up with her left hand and began attempting to gouge his eyes in an attempt to free herself. Brown bit her left ring and middle fingers and then released her.

While Brown continued to punch her, she turned around and placed her back against the passenger door. She brought her knees to her chest, placed her feet against Brown's body and began pushing him away. Brown continued to punch her on the legs and feet, causing several contusions.

"Robyn F. began screaming for help and Brown exited the vehicle and walked away. A resident in the neighborhood heard Robyn F.'s plea for help and called 911, causing a police response. An investigation was conducted and Robyn F. was issued a Domestic Violence Emergency Protective Order."

At the end of his statement, Andrews said Brown sent her text message apologizing nine days later.

"In the text message, Brown apologized for what he had done to Robyn F. and advised [the second personal assistant] that he was going to get help."
