If you're anything like me, you're blindingly handsome and you've been eagerly awaiting the next installment of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy ever since the last film hit theaters back in 2008.

Now, we're finally getting our first glimpse of The Dark Knight Rises, which promises to provide an "epic conclusion" to the franchise. Obviously, we won't get to see Heath Ledger reprise his unforgettable role as the Joker this time around, but the film's certainly not short on villains. Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, Tom Hardy as Bane, and, apparently, a gang of angry prisoners are all making things difficult Christian Bale as Batman.

Nolan's series is known for tackling some heavy issues between the big-budget action set pieces, and it looks life this film is no different. "You're gonna wonder how you thought you could live so large and leave so little to the rest of us," Hathaway whispers in Bale's ear at one point. Sounds like someone's been hanging around with Wall Street protesters! Sadly, we'll have to wait until this summer before we can occupy Gotham City.

These pics make me wanna give Christian Bale a sandwich. He's gone crazy on the weight loss again, but he doesn't look as thin as he was in The Machinist.

Christian has lost the weight to play the role of boxer turned heroin addict Dicky Eklund. Is it just me or has this weight loss taken a toll on his hair? Or is it just dirty and doing it's own thing? If he goes too crazy with the weight loss for films, he's gonna seriously do damage to himself.

Did 'Batman' Assault His Mother and Sister?

Christian Bale's mother and sister are claiming the Batman actor assaulted them at a hotel in London the night before the European premiere of 'The Dark Knight'.

His mother Jenny, 61, and sister Sharon, 40, reported the incident to the police on Monday. Authorities decided to not question the actor until after the premiere of the blockbuster movie.

A source told The Sun, "It was a very difficult situation but it would have been wrong to have wrecked the premiere over a complaint which we don't yet know is founded in truth. But Mr Bale will be contacted at the earliest opportunity and be asked to provide an account of anything that happened."

A police spokesperson confirmed the reports, "We can confirm we have received allegation from another force in relation to an alleged incident in central London."

Update from TMZ: Bale turned himself into a London police station this morning (by appointment) and was arrested. It's merely procedure, and he has not been charged with anything at this point.

Bale once told E! Online, "If everyone really knew what a jerk I am in real life, I wouldn't be so adored in the slightest."
