On why he decided to come out:
"It was the first decision I made as a father. I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things. I wasn't raised that way, and I'm not going to raise a child to do that."

On how he thinks his fans will react:

She was obviously somewhat stunned. But she was very supportive and very comforting. She still struggles with things quite a bit, but she's come a long way."

On raising his son Parker Foster Aiken:
"I have no idea if he'll be gay or straight. It's not something I'll have anything to do with, or that he'll have anything to do with. It's already probably up inside the code there ... People hits newsstands on New York and LA on Wednesday. American Idol alum Clay Aiken and newborn son Parker pose for their first photos AND Aiken officially comes out.

Parker Foster Aiken was born on August 8 in North Carolina to Aiken's good friend Jaymes Foster, 50. The pair met when Aiken was a contestant on American Idol.

When the AP asked for a copy of the issue in advance, the magazine refused. The cover tagline is all we'll get till it's out.

American Idol Clay Aiken is a dad!

The 29-year-old singer and his best friend, producer Jaymes Foster, welcomed a baby boy in his home-state of North Carolina Friday morning, Aiken's mother Faye told local radio station WRAL.

Parker Foster Aiken was born at 8:08 a.m. weighing 6 pounds, 2 ounces. He was 19 inches long.

Parker has dark hair, Faye reported. Foster (who is reportedly in her late 40s) was artificial inseminated with Aiken's sperm. The BFFs live together when he's in L.A. and he plans to be involved with parenting their child.

Considering all of Clay's experience working with kids, you know he's going to be an amazing father. Congrats Daddy Aiken!! :) What is this, good news Friday? Luvin' it. :)

Clay Aiken has knocked up Jaymes Foster, a record producer and Gayken's best friend. Clay reportedly lives with her when he's staying in L.A.

Jaymes has produced several of Gayken's CDs. In exchange, Clay has given her his sperm. She was artificially inseminated and she's due in August!!!! You say, huh?!

Jaymes is the sister of mega mogul David Foster. She's in her late 40's and she got divorced a few years ago. This will be her first child. Clay wants to play an active role in raising their child.

When Access Hollywood asked Gayken about gay rumors, he said that people don't care if he's gay or straight. Um, is that why everyone keeps asking you, Clay?

When it comes to his sexuality, "People don't want to have that type of stuff pushed, people who are living in Omaha or in Charlotte or wherever," Aiken, 29, tells Access Hollywood.

"They don't want stuff like that pushed in their face," he adds. "I don't think that's necessary and that's also not what I'm here for. I mean, I went on Idol to be a singer, I went on Idol to be an entertainer and that's what my priority is."

"I think when you get into anything and you're not used to people scrutinizing this, that or the other... it bothers you," Aiken says.

"After awhile you kind of just say, 'Forget this ... This is not who I am, this is not about me, what I want to do is be a singer, want to be an entertainer, and forget all that stuff,'" he adds.

It's hard for us to forget about the homosexuality "stuff" Clay when you keep taunting us with that girly giggle and all that damn make-up. Just admit it so you can get more ass!

Clay Aiken stops by The Tyra Banks Show Monday to help the host celebrate her 500th episode at the show's New York studios. The singer, who's currently starring on Broadway in Spamalot, gave away tickets to the musical.

The queen debuted his new look yesterday on Broadway for his role as Sir Robin in Spamalot, and by the looks of his costume, he won't be acting at all.

"The first time I saw it I thought it was the stupidest thing I'd ever seen in my entire life," he said. "My tour drummer is the Spamalot drummer, and [he] said you've got to see it again."
