Zooey Deschanel is ready to walk down the aisle.
The actress and singer, 28, and Death Cab for Cutie singer Ben Gibbard, 32, who is also in the indie band the Postal Service, got engaged before the holidays.
Deschanel, currently starring in Yes Man opposite Jim Carrey, also released her first album, Volume One, in March with her band She & Him.
I like Zooey, but her knockoff Katy Perry look kills me. I saw Zooey on Paste magazine yesterday and I didn’t wanna pick it up because I thought she was Katy. Their resemblance is way too strong. I haven’t seen such freaky lookalike shit like this in Hollyweird since I pointed out that Gayken was looking like LiLo or Owen Wilson resembles Ellen.

Whew! I was getting skurred, because this is not the way things should go down with Thomas and Gisele. First, Tom must knock up Gisele in what seems to be a common practice modern day matrimony pre-requisite - just like he did when he dumped his pregnant ex-fiance, Bridget Moynahan. Next, Gisele will birth four kids instead of one. I’m sure three of them would be gorgeous and one of them would be fug. I would then go on to tease the fug one relentlessly just like I did with Suri Cruise, because it’s all for good luck. Look at how adorable Suri is now? Insults can prompt positive changes. I know this because Suri will be thanking me later, and so will Tom and Gisele (after they split), and Bridget will live happily ever after.

Courtney Cox is copying off of Will Smith. The former Friends star told UK’s Mail on Sunday:
It’s so easy to grow apart; marriage takes work. I suppose you can work it out by talking to each other - I would just prefer to have a referee, it reminds us why we’re together.
Before my dad died, he said one of his big regrets was that he hadn’t worked on their marriage enough. I don’t know what the future’s going to hold, but divorce isn’t really an option.
What’s with all the celebs saying divorce is not an option? I mean I get it. It’s a good thing to live by. I am especially happy for Coco Cox-Arquette who will not have to deal with divorce drama. I just want to know why it’s a necessary thing to say. If you aren’t getting a divorce, then why talk about it? I know why Will Smith does. Rumors have been swirling around for a while that Jada and Will swing with other couples, and that they both hook up with men and women. That’s alleged of course, but it brings new light to why Will Smith finds it necessary to say he will never get a divorce.
Could this be the case for Courtney? I hope not. David and her’s marriage is hard enough with Jen Aniston always trying to crash the party.

The couple will say “I Do!” during the weekend of January 9-11 in Southern California.
Fergie, 33, and Duhamel, 35, were recently photographed at a Crate and Barrel in Beverly Hills, where they scanned kitchen items.
“It’s all going great. It’s fun, actually,” Duhamel recently told Entertainment Tonight of planning their wedding. “We’re both really excited about it and it will be good.”
Where would they go after getting hitched? Possibly Canada.
“This would actually be a great honeymoon place,” he said. “I would love to take her here.”
I just can’t wait for some fugalicious babies.
Gisele Bundchen is reportedly planning her wedding to New England hottie Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. The couple will not have a long engagement, only a small wedding ceremony in Costa Rica or Brazil.
“[She is] making secret, low-key wedding plans with boyfriend of two years Tom Brady,” a source, who claims the couple want to keep it their nups a low-key affair, tells In Touch Weekly. ““There will be no engagement. Just a small wedding in mid-March,” the insider alleges.
Homewrecker Gisele, 28, and Tom, 31, have been dating since late 2006.
Well, I hate homewrecker skanks so I hope they split. But only after they have some babies first. These two are working with some damn good genes.

“I would start with the breasts,” the new dad (son Bronx Mowgli was born three weeks ago) tells E!’s Daily 10.
But he doesn’t just love Simpson-Wentz for her hot body.
“Ashlee is the kind of person that understands me in a way that other human beings don’t understand each other,” he says. “I would say that we fit together kind of like Lego pieces, and that’s how we’re able to communicate.”
Plus, she puts him first.
“She’s always there for me, she always has my back no matter what,” Wentz says. “If I have to leave at 6 a.m. to go somewhere, she’s packing my bag for me. I’m like, ‘What are you doing up at 6 a.m.?’ and she’s packing my bag.”
You know Orlando didn’t keep his hands loosely wrapped around his Victoria Secret model girlfriend Miranda Kerr. What is it about PDA that makes you wanna scream except when you’re the one participating? It has shiz to do with being single or not. Seeing public displays of affection makes you miss your significant other, want a significant other, or hate. You’re never thinking awwww…. how cute! even if it’s the cutest couple ever.

Kelly Osbourne, 23, is engaged to her 18-year-old model boyfriend Luke Warroll, so says his Facebook.
According to a Sunday newspaper, Luke yesterday changed his online relationship status to ‘engaged to Kelly Osbourne’.
His profile page has been inundated with congratulatory messages from friends and family.
Relative Nicola Worrall wrote: ‘I’m pleased for you both xx’, while former babysitter Claire Merchant added: ‘Wow, you’ve come a long way from the little boy I used to love babysitting for’.
Luke is thought to have had the stamp of approval from Sharon Osbourne at a lunch meeting in July, but it is unclear what her reaction is to news of an engagement.
There’s just something about fame that makes ya want something stable, and marriage is seen as an institution that provides stability. Sigh. They’ll break up by 2010.
