It amazes me how much Dakota Fanning has grown up over the last couple of years and she's looking super cute in the new issue of Teen Vogue. In the issue, Dakota talks about her role as Jane in New Moon and deciding to attend a regular high school as she grows up.

Dakota, on her decision to take the role of Jane in New Moon:
“I read all four Twilight books in one week. It’s such a phenomenon, and I wanted to be able to say that I was a part of it.”

How she feels about co-star Kristen Stewart:
“We became really close, like we’d known each other for our whole lives. We talk all the time.”

Kristen Stewart on Dakota:
“Dakota is one of the most consistently moving actors I have ever worked with. I’m always better with her.”

How she feels about playing a mean character for the first time:
“I’ve never been such an evil character, and because I do know Kristen so well, being mean to her was really weird. It’s like, Sorry, dude!”

Why she decided to attend high school:
“I really wanted a home base, because I feel like no matter how old people are, they remember homecoming. They remember their senior prom. And I really wanted that.”

I like Dakota and agree with her on the high school memories. The Hollywood tweens who do home schooling or get a tutor miss out on everything a teenager should experience. Like your Science teacher whose allergic to deodorant and sweats like a pig, or your French teacher who seems to consistently roll and shake her eyes while she's talking. Oh, those are some great memories. Ha!

Anyone know why Dakota Fanning is popular at school? Is she, like, famous or something? And if so, for doing what? Uh... starring in one of the most highly anticipated cult-following flicks of the year: New Moon!

Dakota Fanning, 15, is a cheerleader at Campbell Hall Episcopal High School in North Hollywood. She was crowned at a football game on Oct. 30. The talented star was given flowers and a tiara and even walked down a red carpet with the Homecoming King.

Most actors have a tutor, but Dakota wanted to be like common folk by attending high school with her peers. I applaud her effort. She made such a cute queen!

New Moon isn't all about Jacob, Bella and Edward. Although the movie won't hit theaters for another two months, (Nov. 20 to be exact, but who's counting?), studio heads don't give a shiz. They're going to keep reminding us that New Moon is coming soon.

Dakota Fanning and Taylor Lautner look great, but I like Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's poster the best. Based on these posters, I wouldn't go see the movie, and I think the publicity department knows that. They could take a picture of a damn rock with the words "New Moon" scribbled in chalk across it by a six year-old and Twilighters would still be Tweeting about how they love the posters and can't wait to watch the midnight showing on opening night.

These just keep getting better and better! This installment features Dakota Fanning, red eyes and all, and a shirtless, fug looking Robert Pasttinson. The third trailer for New Moon was played during last night's MTV Awards and it looks good. Does anyone know if anymore trailers will come out? I'm addicted to the damn trailers. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's what sources tell E! Online. The soon to be 15-year-old starlet is allegedly in talks to take on a role in the Twilight sequel, New Moon.

"There were no auditions," a source reveals. "They just offered it to her outright, and now they're in negotiations. They've been going back and forth."

Dakota is up for the role of Jane. In the books Jane is part of the Volturi which is a group of the deadliest vampires in the world. Jane is the fiercest of them all. I think Dakota would be perfect, and I have a feeling that her teenage fans agree with me.

Dakota Fanning was at the Palm Springs Film Festival yesterday looking ten kinds of fierce! Why can't all young actresses be so talented, gorgeous, and classy?

I hope Dakota never quits acting. She was born to be a leading lady.

I really hope Dakota Fanning remains on the right track. I'm worried for her. She's already a diva, a cheerleader at her high school, and I wouldn't be surprised if pics of her doing lines off a dude's ass cheek surface within five years.

I doubt Dakota will take Miley Cyrus stripper mirror photos; unfortunately, it wouldn't be a shocker if Dakota turns into some crackhead slut sooner than later. I hope Hollyweird does not taint this girl.

At the far from being legal, barely post puberty age of 14, Dakota Fanning is reportedly a skilled diva, using the tactics of others twice and thrice her age.

Australian director Rowan Woods says Dakota Fanning isn't "America's sweetheart," she's more like an over the top diva extraordinaire. I'm surprised it's taken Dakota this long! It's about time, honey.

Woods said his high profile cast was a pleasure to work with except for teenage starlet Dakota Fanning, who could be a diva on the set.

She initially refused to come out of her trailer on day one of shooting because her scene wasn't filmed first, and was "intensely jealous" of her young co-star Josh Hutcherson.

"(Fanning) was the only one who was naughty."

"She is a gorgeous girl … but she was the disaster," he said. "There was something about her presence that wasn't ringing true. Most of our work was cutting her scenes and a lot of her scenes were cut."

I never thought of refusing to do anything if I wasn't tended to first. Thanks Dakota! I'll try this out at the DMV when I'm renewing my license. I'll stand my guard and see what happens.

Her parents and everyone on her payroll is not doing an adequate job. She looks like she hasn't brushed her teeth in eight years. It's like, does she eat butter for dinner and drink coffee for dessert then repeat seven days a week, every week?

That being said, I love Dakota Fanning. She is a major talent and she's not goin' anywhere. She's that good. :) She is finally all growed up and poised to be a knockout. In a few years she's gonna be rockin' the most elegant gowns, with the most gorgeous up 'dos and banging the hottest menz in Hollyweird. Luvs it!
