Teri Hatcher’s ATM Card Was Stolen. Thieves Rang up $12,000 Worth Of Goods

May 22nd, 2007

Teri Hatcher was left shocked and stunned when thieves stole her ATM card.

She explains, “I called to cancel it and was actually stolen… I don’t use it much, so they had rung up $12,000. They did 90 different transactions and I know that because for every single fraud thing you have to sign out (sic) a whole slip that says, ‘No, I wasn’t at Joe’s Diner, spending $20 on chili.’

It dawned on me as I was doing this that in 90 times of them giving the card, nobody ever went, Teri Hatcher…’ I was really kinda freaked out that that could happen.

Seriously how can someone get away with using a celebrity’s card like that and not be questioned? Shows how much some employees really pay attention to what people are using to pay. Why haven’t I been lucky enough to score a celeb’s credit card and go on a little spree like that? Snarky needs a new pair of shoes!

Desperate Housewives Losing Viewers

April 10th, 2007

I don’t really watch it anymore myself. I thought it started getting crappy about half way thru the 2nd season. Sounds like the Wisteria Lane hos need to work it a little more.

Desperate Housewives” on Sunday fell to its lowest viewership and adults 18-49 ratings in the show’s three-year history, allowing CBS to win the night in viewership while retaining the demo crown. Housewives” averaged 15.7 million viewers and a 6.0 rating/15 share in adults 18-49, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. That’s down 23% from its original average of 7.8/17 so far this season.

It was the first original broadcast of the ABC dramedy since March 4. It did increase from 15.3 million viewers at 9 p.m. to 16 million at 9:30 p.m. It still was tops in viewership and 18-49 in the hour and the night, easily winning against CBS’ “Cold Case” (11.5 million, 2.8/7) and NBC’s “Deal or No Deal” (10 million, 2.8/7).
