Evan Lysacek recently won an Olympic gold medal for men's figure skating, but is he ready to put down his skates and throw on some dancing shoes?

Evan says that he's been a "big fan" of Dancing With the Stars since his friend and fellow Olympian Kristi Yamaguchi competed in 2008.

Evan said, "I've always been so criticized for being so mechanical on the ice and it's something I've really worked on -- to try and work some artistry into my skating. Maybe it would help my skating. Maybe that would be just what I need."

Dancing With the Stars always has an Olympian on its roster, at least from what I remember. Does this mean will be seeing Nastia Liukin cheering for her rumored boyfriend in the audience? Hmmm. They both should compete this season. If Evan's interested, ABC - you know what to do!

Men's figure skating Olympic gold medalist Evan Lysacek and women's gymnastic Olympic gold medalist Nastia Liukin make the perfect couple.

Evan is known for his strong work ethic; but despite his rigorous practicing schedule, he was nervous about competing for a men's figure stating gold medal. The USA hasn't won the title for the past 22 years. Good job Evan!

Nastia was a great little cheerleader for her boyfriend. Evan said, "She been so helpful to me. If I'm having a bad day, she tells me to have faith and to keep going. Sometimes your support system has more faith in you than yourself. And when she tells me things are going to be fine, I really believe it."

Awwww! The pair actually met in October 2008 and began dating last summer.

In August, Lysacek went to Dallas to cheer on Liukin during the U.S. Nationals. "It was cool but nerve-racking watching her compete – to be on the balance beam like that? For me, it's easier to do it then watch it."

Nastia has lost some of the weight she had gained after her Olympic games and she looks great. What a hot couple!
