American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino is the newest New York, baby! Fantasia has signed on with Vh1 to star in a reality show focused on her life as a recording artist and single mother. The show will premiere in early 2010.

Fantasia is all kinds of hoodrat so this one should be good!

Vh1 has been creaming over this. VP of VH1 programming, Jeff Olde, said:

"So many people wanted to work with her on this, but Fantasia is now part of the VH1 family, and we're so happy to have her. We look forward to smashing expectations and revealing the fresh, funny and unexpected side of this one-of-a-kind country girl and superstar."

Once the VH1 dude talks about the show it sounds way boring, but I think it'll be good. There's gonna be lots of scary shiz in it fo sho: Fantasia without a weave, Fantasia without makeup, no bra, going on dates, fighting with the baby daddy, cussing out bill collectors, picking out wigs... Couldn't ask for more.

Fantasia looks dare I say it, fucking hot! At least for how Fantasia usually looks. She recently said that she lost some weight, but she didn't say she ditched the red hair, braces and fug. I. Am. Impressed.

Okay, so how much does winning American Idol, tours, album sales and starring in Broadway's The Color Purple pay you? Not enough.

Fantasia Barrino is about to be evicted from one of her two Charlotte, North Carolina, homes.

The 6-bedroom, 6,232 square-foot mansion is set to be auctioned off on Jan.12.

Barrino, a single mother to daughter Zion, purchased the home, located on Bevington Place, in March 2007. The price was $1.3 million.

Her other house, also located in Charlotte, was purchased in July 2004 for $740,000 and records show it's not in financial trouble.

Her recent tune, a duet with Jennifer Hudson called "I'm His Only Woman," was just nominated for a Grammy.

As long as Fantasia gets her stuff out, what's the big deal? Does she even care now that her bisniss is out in the public? Maybe it's bad publicity, but I'd just let my house get foreclosed if I didn't want it no mo. That's just how my work ethic goes.

Fantasia Barrino, who picked up a Theater World Award the other day for her debut in "The Color Purple," admits there was a time not long ago when her fashion sense was way out of whack.

After thanking God and producer Scott Sanders - in that order, reports The Post's Barbara Hoffman - the 22-year-old "American Idol" beauty recalled how, for her first rehearsal as impoverished, beaten-down Celie, she showed up with "long fingernails and pumps." A cast member told her gently to lose the pumps, and she did. The rest is history.

Former American Idol contestants Fantasia and Jennifer Hudson seem to enjoy doing their vulgar, wide-mouth laugh out loud shit for the cameras.
