"I don't think either one of us was thinking a Christmas wedding. Originally it was because I only get two weeks a year for my Christmas vacation... but then we really got excited about it. We wanted to do it in a place that felt like a winter wonderland. We incorporated lots of big evergreens in the reception with twinkle lights and Christmas decorations."

Katherine Heigl isn't one for keeping her opinions to herself.
The feisty actress, 29, dubbed her flick Knocked Up "a little sexist," called her Grey's Anatomy character a "ratings ploy," defended T.R. Knight against Isaiah Washington and now says she may skip the Golden Globes if the writers' strike doesn't end.
"I always tell it like it is. You kind of pick and choose your moments to be brutally honest. I think most women have been in the position of being a real people pleaser at one time or another in their lives. I kind of got over that in my early 20s."
"I just sort of think if you couch what you feel too often, you're not really being true to yourself," Heigl said.
All she does is bitch about the people she works with, which makes her look ungrateful. Then she gets up on stage to win her Emmy, and tells the crowd her mother said she didn't have a chance in hell of winning!
Katherine's like one of the those bitches who tells you when they're on their period every month like you're supposed to make charts and keep records. If you don't always speak out on everything it doesn't mean you're not "being true to yourself," in Hollywood that just makes you a poser, which means you're driven.
The hotness that is McDreamy, will be the new face of Versace Men's campaign which will start their print ads in February. Oooh, I hope they did an underwear campaign photo while they had him!
"I was thrilled to be asked to be the face of the Versace Men's campaign," Dempsey said. "It was so lovely to work with Donatella Versace, she is an iconic and inspirational woman and a wonderful person, not to mention what a pleasure it was to work with Mario Testino too, one of the world's finest photographers."
Leather head Donatella Versace knows that hotness and was excited about putting him in her duds.
"Patrick represents everything that is great about this collection â" he has that confidence, he is completely comfortable in his own skin, which is so attractive. He is the modern man of today and of course looks fantastic in the clothes. I'm a big fan, so it was a great experience working with him because he is such a talented actor."
In the January issue of Vanity Fair, Katherine says she feels the movie Knocked Up, was sexist. Honey, that movie took you from making $300K per movie to an asking price of $6 million. You better like that shit whether it's sexist or not!
"It paints the women as shrews, as humorless and uptight, and it paints the men as goofy, fun-loving guys.It was hard for me to love the movie."
She also admits she's not thrilled with the Izzie & George relationship on Grey's Anatomy
"It was a ratings ploy," she says. "I'm trying to figure her out and keep her real."
Thank you, Kat! Now we know she's just as confused about the whole Izzie & George relationship as we are! It totally doesn't make sense and just seemed to fly in from out of nowhere. With the writers strike still going on, it's hard telling when the Grey's writers will get that crap straightened out!
While the writers' strike rages on, Grey's Anatomy hunk Patrick Dempsey stays in gear during a brisk ride through Los Angeles on Tuesday.

After celebrating her 29th birthday at Nobu in Malibu with mom Nancy, fiancé Josh Kelley and Grey's costar T.R. Knight, Katherine Heigl blows out the candles on paparazzi-provided cake at the restaurant's parking lot on Saturday.
Ellen Pompeo got married on Friday. New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg served as their witness at the brief ceremony, which was performed at City Hall in Manhattan by a city clerk, the Boston Globe reports. Ghetto shit! They should have done this in Vegas.
The connection between the couple and Hizzoner has to do with the fact that the record-producer groom, 38, grew up in Boston, while Bloomberg himself is a native of Medford, Mass. Pompeo, who also turned 38 on Saturday, hails from Everett, Mass.
The couple met in '03 at a grocery store. In '07 they wed at City Hall. Keepin' it classy.
After the nuptials, the newlyweds reportedly were seen at Sunday night's Knicks game at Madison Square Garden, before the bride returned to Hollywood to return to shooting her series �" though it soon threatens to shut down due to the writers' strike.
The cast of Grey's Anatomy, including Katherine Heigl, T.R. Knight, Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey and Justin Chambers, joined striking writers on the picket line outside L.A.'s Prospect Studios Wednesday.The ABC show's last shooting day is set for either Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. Dempsey recently told Entertainment Tonight the show has enough episodes to last though Christmas.
I hope they come to an agreement soon otherwise my fat ass is gonna have to end up on a reality show just to entertain you. :)
