Grey's Anatomy News (Page 5)
It's National Coming Out Day!
In honor of National Coming Out Day, T.R. Knight has made a 20 second spot for GLAAD letting viewers know the importance of accepting your gay friends and family members. I still wanna bang T.R. even though I'm not up his alley.
Grey's Anatomy Season 4 Premiere Recap
Random Notes version.
This is long, but I hope you Grey's Anatomy fans like it. :) I'm highlighting the standouts.
Early on in the beginning of episode 1 season 4, George is introduced as an intern and Izzie desperately questions George about what he's been doing since the last time they saw each other at Christina and Burke's wedding gone wrong.
The Seattle Grace Hospital crew hasn't seen each other for 17 days! And somehow during their few weeks of separation, Christina decides to come back rockin' pigtails, George has managed to get even hotter, Derek has gone from good looking to hot and Callie looks like she's packed on a few pounds.
When Derek/McDreamy discovers that Lexie is the girl he told Meredith he met in the bar, Meredith tells him "I'm the girl from the bar!" and shoots him the perfect icy cold stare.
Who the eff are these interns and why do they seem to be littering the hospital by the dozens?
Callie tells George that she might be pregnant and he looks like he rather shave his pubes with a weedwacker than have to father Callie's baby. Callie then tells him that she's not pregnant and George tells her he's busy and walks away. Callie needs to give up on the relationship. George is really just not that into her.
Christina seems bitchier than usual, telling the interns "Don't suck up, I already hate you!" then she tells Derek/McDreamy, "I don't like you because you're you." Christina is a total asshole, but we luv it!
One of the funniest parts of the episode was when Izzie stalks George and finds him on the stairs and yells, "I'm Bambi, George!" Um,... okay bitch.
Grey's also gave us a new medical term, "Pica!" Sometimes Grey's comes up with pretty unbelievable plotlines like the pregnant man, but Pica's actually a real condition.
It's obvious that Grey's Anatomy writers want Meredith's half sister Lexie to be the lovable character we all adore. She gives George a great motivational speech, and George responds by telling her, "You're kind of awesome." But I don't like this bitch and she needs to go away. I can't put my finger on what it is, but she just kind of looks like too many other bitches or something and she's just too perfect right now for me to find her likable and real.
Izzie's interns hate her, especially because she made them help her save a deer while there were more interesting surgeries going on. But Izzie fought back by calling her interns "duds" to their faces after they called her a "dud" behind her back. :) Nice comeback.
Dr. Burke aka Isaiah Washington is also gone this season. Before the season started, I said I would miss him, and I do. Actually, I browsed a few message boards. Not only has Grey's Anatomy's ratings dropped, but lots of fans are saying they loved Burke and they're no longer watching now that he's gone... anywho, Burke's ex Christina was grieving over Burke this episode. That's a win. She was actually human and the only time I find Christina likable on a personal level is when she's not stone cold.
Callie's a horrible chief but she better deal wit it.
Meredith gives Derek a "we're breaking up" speech and they both agree that their relationship is over. Then Derek leans in and moves towards a kiss and Meredith backs away a little before he pulls her face nearer and starts to suck on her tonsils. Derek then says this is a "break up kiss" and as they begin to get it on Derek says they have to have "break up sex!" How could Meredith resist that shit? Break up sex is beyond hot. You know this.
The episode ends with George appearing on Izzie's porch where he declares, "I love you too." Aaaaaahhhhh!!!!
** Next week George tells Izzie that he can leave Callie for her and they also show him trying to dump Callie and she tells him "don't say anything." Someone's in denial! The rest of next week's episode I didn't realy pay attention to. For now it's all about the George/Izzie/Callie love triangle.
Take Notes, Britney!
Katherine Heigl shopping in Hollywood yesterday.

Brit Brit,
This is exactly how you should look when you go out around L.A. in your quest to cause havoc amongst the paparazzi who you call so they can be there when you arrive.
Katherine is not only paparazzi ready while looking casual, she looks beautiful! Light makeup and a hair brush and a hat (or in your case, a secured weave) can go a long way.
Lookin' good, Kat!
McDreamy's Happy To Be Back On Grey's Set

"It's a lot lighter, people are having more fun.The energy and the adjustments make a big difference," he says, referring to the departure of Isaiah Washington after an on-set altercation between the stars last season.Definitely pumped to be back at Seattle Grace, he declares, "I'm going to go save some lives again!"
I'm so pumped for Grey's to come back! Actually, my blood's just pumpin' for McDreamy to get his sexy ass back on my regularly scheduled Thursday night programming! Grrrrr baby!
Isaiah Washington Blames Patrick Dempsey For His Anti-Gay Outburst

Isaiah Washington has decided it was someone else's fault that he used an anti-gay slur a few months ago. Now it's Patrick Dempsey's fault for being late to the set.
Interviewed on Larry King Live on Monday (the interview was taped on Friday), Washington said he regretted not confronting Dempsey the first time he was late, so he challenged him the second time.
But Dempsey wanted to delay the scene more to wait for Grey's star Ellen Pompeo, who plays Dempsey's love interest, before shooting began."I said I don't need Ellen, I can act," Washington told King. "And that was the moment that sent it into a different zone."
According to Washington, Dempsey erupted. "He became unhinged, sprayed spittle in my face," said Washington, in his first television interview about the controversy. "I'm asking him why is he screaming at me. ... He just becomes irate." That's when Washington said "a lot of things I'm not really proud of.""I said several bad words," he recalled, quoting himself as telling Dempsey: "There's no way you're going to treat me like the B-word, the P-word or the F-word." He said that the "F-word" was not meant as an anti-gay slur, but implied "somebody who is being weak." Washington also strongly denied he ever directed the word at gay costar T.R. Knight.
"I am not homophobic â" in no way, shape or form," said Washington.
As for Knight claiming the slur was directed at him, Washington said, "That's a lie. He misrepresented himself." Washington suggested Knight did that to advance his career and get more money. "He has been very disappointed in playing the character he has been playing. He told me that," said Washington.
But Washington said he felt badly about repeating the slur backstage at the Golden Globe Awards. "I wish I could take that back," Washington said.
Give it up Isaiah! You just keep digging your grave deeper and deeper. Have you ever heard the saying 'A closed mouth catches no flies'? Shut your pie hole! Move on! And quit blaming McDreamy & others for your issues!

McSteamy Crotch Grab

McSteamy aka Eric Dane apparently got his crotch grabbed by his wife Rebecca Gayheart while they were on aboard a private yacht on Sunday in Italy.
I didn't like Rebecca for multiple reasons: First, her last name is Gayheart - lame! Second, the ho doesn't work. She did some Noxzema commercials forever ago. And third, she's married to McSteamy - oh, hell no! But I'm kewl with her now that I know she's not putting Eric's goods to waste.

Isaiah Washington Just Keeps Going and Going and Going
Isaiah Washington is at it again!!! And, since I have a gossip blog, I feel like I should cover his nonsense. He's going to cause me to go into early retirement. Isaiah had an interview with Newsweek titled "Diary of an Angry Black Man" Here are some excerpts:
"I said a lot of negative things that were never reported, but there was one word that caught everyone's attention, particularly someone who wasn't even in the room with us. It was a fight between two men that shouldn't have happened. But someone heard the booming voice of a black man and got really scared and that was the beginning of the end for me. I see that now, but I didn't then."
"If a black man can't get forgiveness in this country, when so many other people like Robert Downey Jr. and the governor of California get second and third chances ⦠I think that says a lot about race and this country."
My mother had several cross-dressing friends who she sometimes referred to with names I'd never use, but she didn't know any better. There was no hate, just lack of awareness."
"That's what's hurt me so much with all this. I was doing what I'm doing in Africa for yearsâ"before Angelina and Bono. But I've worked at homeless shelters for years and given money to make sure people knew they didn't have to be hungry or the street. I have shared my blessings, but all that changed when this happened and it's truly heartbreaking for me.''
"Well, it didn't help me on the set that I was a black man who wasn't a mush-mouth Negro walking around with his head in his hands all the time. I didn't speak like I'd just left the plantation and that can be a problem for people sometime."
Whew!!!! Considering that Grey's Anatomy's creator Shonda Rhimes is an African American female who defended Isaiah and said she was offended that people thought it was simple to just replace a black male actor, his statements are a slap in the face to her and African Americans everywhere - because they don't make any sense!!!
I think Isaiah would have kept his job if he didn't grab the microphone at the Golden Globe awards and say, "I didn't call T.R. a faggot!" The cast was trying to move past it and no one asked his dumb ass at that moment! Shonda was telling the press how excited she was to win her award when he acted a fool.
I wish I could tell you that all of this would end, but Isaiah's going to be on Larry King Live and you know he's going to continue to spew more nonsense. I feel SO sorry for him. He just keeps on making himself look worse and worse and worse. Amazing!
