Shannen Doherty, the bad girl of ’90s Hollywood, is in talks to reprise her role as good girl Brenda Walsh in the Beverly Hills, 90210 spinoff, EW reports.
Doherty, who was reputedly difficult on set and frequently clashed with her costars, was fired from the original show in 1994.
Currently, the main things standing in the way of the return of Brenda Walsh would be her demand for more money and to be clued in on the plotlines of The CW’s new version of the primetime teen soap.
“She wants to know what the story is going to be first,” EW quotes a source as saying.

Anne Hathaway’s ex Raffaello Follieri appeared in Manhattan federal court Tuesday to face 12 counts of wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering.
Judge Henry B. Pitman set bail at $21 million ($16 million must be paid in cash or by liquid assets or property; $5 million must come from financially responsible co-signers).
Follieri, a 29-year-old Italian businessman, was also forced to hand over all travel documents and placed on home detention. He is not allowed to leave his NYC home except for legal, religious and medical reasons. (If he leaves, he must wear an electronic-monitoring device.)
Federal prosecutors argued that they had “overwhelming” evidence that Follieri improperly spent up to $6 million from investors to live a lavish lifestyle — including expensive restaurants and clothes; a privately chartered jet with Hathaway; dog walking services; an opulent NYC apartment that leased for approximately $37,000 per month.
At court, Follieri (who could get life in prison) appeared angry, often shaking his head or interrupting his attorney to tell her what to say, the Associated Press reports.
“In short, your honor, he is a con man, and he was able to defraud a lot of people out of a lot of money over a long period of time,” Prosecutor Reed Michael Brodsky said.
The prosecutor also claimed Follieri tested positive for opiates during a routine drug test shortly after his arrest Tuesday morning.

America Idol champ Ruben Studdard is engaged to his girlfriend Surata Zuri McCants, 30, his rep confirmed. The pair obtained a marriage license at the Shelby County Probate Office in Birmingham Alabama on Monday.
An Alabama marriage license is valid for 30 days.
It’s all pretty simple, Ruben. Keep your pole in Surata’s hole and everything will be fine. And make some cute babies too. Congrats!
