Jamie Lynn Spears doesn't want no bastard kids. Tina Robinson, Casey Aldridge's cousin, confirms that Jamie and Casie are engaged!

Tina says Casey proposed "a few days ago."

Robinson says she hasn't seen a ring and didn't know whether they would wed before or after Jamie Lynn delivers."They probably weren't expecting [the proposal] to be, like, right now, but with her being pregnant, that really pushed it up."

Last night I was talking to one of my girlfriends about how, maybe in the 1950s, getting knocked up was a good way to tie down yo man. But today in the 21st century, it really just doesn't work anymore. Us poor girls are forced to lie about being on the pill, get knocked up, then seek hundreds of thousands in child support because men don't wanna marry they hos no mo'.

"The "Zoey 101" actress was spotted leaving the Mexican Restaurant in Kentwood, Louisiana last night with a gal pal. And she was doing her best to camouflage her baby bump. Spears wore a baggy white tank top underneath a jacket, with denim cutoffs and a pair of uber-stylish UGG boots. It looks like she may have bought a couple of t-shirts from the restaurant during her meal as well.

And if you've been jonesing for a dose of Jamie Lynn on your television screen, you won't have to wait much longer. According to an entertainment industry source, she'll be appearing in a guest role on ABC's "Miss Guided." The source reports, "Jamie Lynn plays a promiscuous high-schooler in the March 20th episode of the show."

The Spears women make really good mothers, don't they? Jamie has been partying like crazy. Poor thing must be in denial.

"She's been going out with her friends recently and staying out late. Her mom and dad are both worried that Jamie's late-night partying isn't good for her or her child.

Although they are about to become parents, Jamie Lynn Spears and her boyfriend Casey Aldridge have no plans to wed �" yet."They may or may not [get married]," says Aldridge's uncle, Odus Jackson, in an interview outside Aldridge's house in Mississippi. "You just never know."

"He was a typical country boy growing up. I hope they will stick it out and get married for the child's sake and their sake," he says. "But if they're not in love and it was just a fantasy, they don't need to make the same mistake twice."

In the past year Aldridge had relocated to California to be closer to the 16-year-old Spears. "To me, personally, when he was allowed to go out to California part of his senior year . . . you know when you put boy and girl together, it don't work," says Jackson. "Testosterone is tough to control."

Jamie Lynn Spears added to the year's surprise pregnancies by announcing that she and beau Casey Aldridge were expecting.But in an interview with the Associated Press shortly before Thanksgiving, the 16-year-old said she did not have a serious boyfriend.

"I kind of just keep my options open," she said. "I have a bunch of friends that I always hang out with, a bunch of guy friends."

When asked if she'd ever leave her Kentwood, Lousiana, home. "It's, you know, it's my friends," she says. "It's where I grew up. I want to stay here.")
