Janet Jackson did an interview with Robin Roberts for Good Morning America regarding the death of her brother Michael. Janet says the last time she saw Michael before he died was a couple of days before her birthday back in May. She was closest to Michael growing up and found out he was in the hospital when her assistant called to break the news, and told her it was on CNN.

She also said the family tried to get Michael help but they were unsuccessful in their attempts.

We did a few times," says Janet, the youngest child in the family. "We weren't very successful. He understood that it was out of love, out of caring. But people can be in denial."

You can only do so much to help an addict and it's up to them to take the big steps into cleaning up. Michael Jackson had problems with pain killers for years and if his own family couldn't get him to stop, it was a matter of time before it got out of control and he ended up six feet under. If it wasn't Dr. Murray that ended up being the one to f*ck it up for Michael, it would have just been someone else.

Janet Jackson killed it at last night's MTV Awards.

Janet's tribute had everyone cheering as she channeled her iconic brother and executed some of his signature moves, dancing in unison as Michael's "Scream" video played in the background.

Janet's performance begins around 3:50 in the video below. She made her brother proud!

The MTV VMAs are this coming Sunday and I'm hoping they pay tribute to Michael throughout the entire show. 

Michael's little sis Janet Jackson will be paying tribute to her brother during the opening of the MTV Video Music Awards.

The singer, who collaborated with her brother on 1995 track Scream, promises to be the highlight of the show in New York with a set dedicated to the tragic King of Pop.

Jackson is reportedly in rehearsals with 20 backing dancers, as well as famed choreographers Frank Gatson Jr. and Travis Payne, who worked with the Thriller hit-maker.

Michael is the one who turned regular music videos into mini-movies with "Thriller" being the first of many to come. They better do the tribute right cause he had millions of people watching MTV to see the premiere of his latest videos. In other words, MTV should be sucking Michael's c*ck for everything he did for the network.

Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri are dunzo. People were wondering if they were still together when Jermaine didn't show for Michael Jackson's funeral or memorial.

Friends of the two say they have been slowly going opposite directions and were two different people.

"You shouldn't mix business with pleasure. Janet felt their lives were too crossed and they should have kept things sepa­rate. Jermaine likes to be out there, mingling with everybody, and ­Janet's more shy."

I always thought Janet was too hot for Jermaine anyway. He's just a stumpy little guy with bug eyes. Now she can totally upgrade!

Only three days after Michael Jackson died, sister Janet Jackson appeared on stage at the BET Awards for a touching tribute. She's so strong! In fact, Janet holds her tears in and reminds us that Michael Jackson was an icon to everyone, but "To us, Michael is family, and he will forever live in all of our hearts."

Ne-Yo and Jamie Foxx then sang the Jackson 5's "I'll Be There" as MJ pics played in the background.

After much speculation, the cause of Janet Jackson's mystery illness �" which caused her to cancel a string of tour dates �" has been revealed. The 42-year-old was suffering from vestibular migraines, her rep said in a statement, an unusual condition that creates the sensation of vertigo.

But Jackson is now receiving treatmet �" and she's anxious to get back on stage.

"[Janet is] a world-class entertainer and needs to be at the top of her game to give her fans the show they expect," manager Kenneth Crear said in the statement. "She's feeling much better and is ready to hit the road again."

She is scheduled to resume her Rock Witchu Tour Wednesday night at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

Jackson's show at Madison Square Garden, originally slated for Thursday, has been rescheduled for Nov. 1.

New dates for the other postponed concerts are being worked out and will be announced shortly, her rep said.
