Business woman Jessica Simpson may be close to inking a deal with Weight Watchers so that she can take off her pregnancy pounds and get paid for it! Jess may earn $4 million to represent the company.

Jessica wanted to work with Weight Watchers anyway, and then she got knocked up. "This was the perfect compromise," a source says.

Simpson would have one year to "lose a significant amount of weight" under contract.

Hmmm... let me think about this for a few seconds. Jess gained weight years ago, she pretty much didn't lose any of it, now she's pregnant and she's supposed to "lose a significant amount of weight?" Anyone can drop pounds, maintaining a good physique is the challenging part. Let's face it, Jess hasn't done anything to suggest that she's ready to make positive lifestyle changes. Before she was pregnant, she was always drunk!

Weight Watchers doesn't need celebrities for visibility, when weight loss companies choose reps like Queen Latifah, Kristie Alley and Jessica Simpson, they damage the company's credibility, IMHO. If you're going to go with a celebrity, finding women like Jennifer Hudson, who didn't have a history of yo-yo dieting, is the smart choice. How are customers supposed to be inspired and remain motivated when wealthy celebrity spokeswhores can't even keep the pounds off?

While Kelly Rowland accidentally revealed that Beyonce is expecting a girl, Kelly wasn't pregnant, which made it easier for Kelly to slip up. But Jessica Simpson? She's the sperminated one and she blew it.

Jessica told UsWeekly that she is pregnant with a boy.

Simpson said that she was thinking of creative ways to tell everyone that she was pregnant, and then she said that she thought to herself: “My kid’s going to think I’m pretty cool! This is a cool thing to welcome him to the world with.”

“All kinds of women started coming up to me and saying what an example I was setting by not constantly dieting,” Jess said in a recent interview with Lucky magazine. “I got so much scrutiny for putting on extra pounds, but I think that the decision not to make myself anorexic was actually great for branding."

Makes sense, but I love how Jessica describes it as "the decision" to put on extra pounds, like she was looking at herself in the mirror one day and thought, "I know my career is based on me being hot, but I'd like to try getting made fun of by tabloids for a while." It worked out in the end, because fat is the new skinny. Everyone's ready to crucify Leann Rimes for being anorexic, but when Jessica Simpson gets dumped and eats her feelings, it makes people wanna buy a handbag with her name on it. Don't try to understand it, it'll just make your head hurt.

Jessica has been holding off for a fat $500,000 paycheck from one of the mags to confirm her pregnancy, but nobody is willing to pay because as one source points out, Jessica doesn't have the 'star power' to secure that fat paycheck.

There's no denying the bun in the oven now, so she might as well take whatever cash she can get, and secure a deal for the first baby photos.

After it was rumored during the summer that she was pregnant, Jessica denied it, but with this latest round of rumors, she has kept quiet. Just admit you're pregnant already!

If you are to believe everything written in the tabloids, then Jessica Simpson is definitely pregnant. I'm sure she wouldn't mind being knocked up so she can carry around a few extra pounds without being harassed about it.

According to In Touch, Jessica took a test which came back positive and just to be safe, she took a few more to make sure the first one was legit.

"When the first test came back positive, she called a close friend and asked her to buy several more tests and rush them over. Now, she's the happiest she's ever been."

Jessica's fiance is also thrilled telling Jessica "he wasn't happy, he was ecstatic beyond words."

Now if only she would confirm whether she's knocked up or not... Come on Jess, is there a bun in the oven or not?!?

A source told the mag that at this point, everything is up in the air.

"She can't figure out what kind of day she wants. Some days she wants a big wedding in Hawaii, then other days she wants something closer to home."

Another pal of Jessica's who believes there more to the postponement than just the wedding details said, "She was so gung ho about planning their wedding, and now she's gone dark. She won't commit to a date."

In Touch magazine is reporting that Jessica Simpson is pregnant because she sent back a glass of champagne during Eric Johnson's birthday toast.

Jess is allegedly expecting her first child this Spring.
