Jessica Simpson Sells First Baby Photos for $800,000

Jessica Simpson didn’t go the Beyonce and Jay-Z Blue Ivy route, but her and her baby daddy, Eric Johnson, are also not Beyonce and Jay Z. The something-or-another star brokered a deal with People magazine to sell them the first photos of her baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson, for $800,000. I guess it was in her stomach for long enough, she might as well profit off it!

This is much less money than celebrity babies have banked in the past, but from my POV, it’s still a lot of money for photos of a baby of two not-quite-that-famous people. Jessica already makes lots of moolah from her fashion empire, so it probably won’t make a dent in her wealth. Oh well.

But in addition to the sales from her baby photos, Jessica also signed a $4 million deal with Weight Watchers so that people everywhere can scrutinize the 40-plus pounds she has to lose in order to be skinny enough to be on the “after” side of a Weight Watchers ad.

After her seemingly decades-long pregnancy, Jessica Simpson has given birth to a baby girl.

Maxwell Drew Johnson, weighing 9 lbs., 13 oz. came into the world in LA this morning. Little Max is the first child for both Jessica and her longtime fiance Eric Johnson.

Jessica's pregnancy has been one of the most public in history, with the singer/actress/former reality starlet sharing every detail from her cravings for Scotch to the joys of pregnant sex. Now we'll see if she finally takes her long-awaited trip down the aisle.

Anyway, congrats to Eric and Jessica! Man, it really seemed like that chick was pregnant forever.

Jessica Simpson has taken some heat recently for gaining more than the healthy or expected amount of weight while pregnant. Since she's too busy having non-stop pregg-o sex to defend herself, she's lucky to have one of the great debaters of our time in her corner. That's right - Sarah Palin.

When asked about Jessica's critics in an interview with Matt Lauer (because that's apparently the kind of thing she talks about these days. Remember when she was almost vice-president?) Palin said, "I would have wanted to punch them in the neck. It's nobody's business how much weight I gain!"S-Pain went on to discuss Jessica's slimmer days saying, "That was a different chapter of her life. I bet you she was exercising five or six hours a day back in those Daisy Duke days."

Sarah Palin, ladies and gentlemen. Ask her to name a newspaper and she's clueless, but get her started on Jessica Simpson's weight and she can't shut up. It's times like these I like to remind myself that she was almost second in command to lead the free world. 'Murica!

Jessica Simpson Gained "Well Over 50 Pounds" During Pregnancy

It's no secret that Jessica Simpson has packed on some pounds during her pregnancy. After all, expecting moms are supposed to gain weight, and Jess has never been shy about her love of food (or Scotch, though hopefully she's put that habit on hold). But doctors are saying that Jess has put on more than twice the weight they expect a pregnancy to add.

“Jessica has put on well over 50 lbs,” says Dr. Tara Solomon, a South Florida obstetrician. "She talks about eating cheesecake for breakfast and fried chicken for lunch. She is way too big to be working out, so the weight is piling on.” But hey, it's Jessica's body/relationship/career, she can get fat if she wants to, right? Well, according to another doctor, such dramatic weight gain could put her baby at risk.

"I usually try to keep my patients at a 25 lb weight gain maximum in order to prevent a possible traumatic delivery with a large child," says an NYC OB/Gyn. "She has gone overboard for sure.” In case you were wondering, none of these doctors has ever met Jessica, so it's anyone's guess as to why they see fit to diagnose her or her unborn baby. So judgmental. Can't we all just make fun of Jess for looking like a circus tent in her maternity dresses and leave it at that?

Jessica Simpson: $2 Million Dollar Birth Planned?

Earlier today, we called Blue Ivy Carter the most ballin' baby on the planet, but it looks like the unborn offspring of Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson (the unfortunately named, Maxi Johnson) may be poised to take that title.

In Touch reports that Jessica is planning to spend upwards of $2 million on the delivery of her baby. Yes, that's $2 million on just the delivery. So how exactly does one spend that kind of cash on something that costs most folks a couple grand? By being a paranoid lunatic!

Not only is Jessica planning on renting out an entire wing of the hospital Beyonce-style, she's also rumored to be hiring 30 armed guards to protect the kid at a cost of over a million dollars. “She’s terrified of kidnapping,” says one source. “Her head of security just held a pre-birth meeting for her family to brief them on the rules!” So, the kid's named Maxi, her dad's unemployed and her mom's certifiably insane. She's off to a great start and she's not even born yet.

Jessica Simpson promised to name her kid something "non-traditional" but not made-up. We all hoped she wouldn't go the celebrity inanimate object route and choose something like Apple or Lawn Chair, but we wondered what else she could mean by non-traditional and not made up. Now, thanks to a loud-mouthed anonymous friend, we may have our answer.

“They’re going to call her Maxwell, Maxi for short,” a source tells In Touch. It's just a rumor at this point, but it makes sense, as Maxwell is the middle name of baby-daddy Eric Johnson, as well as the maiden name of his beloved grandmother. "Jessica wanted a name with meaning," adds the source. As long as the middle name isn't Pad, I guess it's cool.

And hey, it could've been worse. “They tossed around a lot of names, including some wacky ones like Zinfandel," says the source. Zinfandel?! We know Jess loves her booze, but that ones a bit much.

I think we now know why John Mayer said Jessica Simpson is "sexual napalm," this b!tch does not like to take breaks! Jessica looks like she's 17 months pregnant, but she's still having sex?! Jessica told Ryan Seacrest: "I am definitely feeling intimate. I'm kind of unstoppable right now. The Big O is, like, the biggest O ever!"

When it comes to Eric Johnson's Johnson, the ex-NFL player doesn't experience any difficulties getting it up. "He's always ready," Jess says. I think this chick is gonna do well on Fashion Star!

Simpson also revealed that it was her choice to get nekkid for Elle magazine.

"They didn't even ask me to do that. It was my idea. It kind of just seemed a natural thing for me to do." She explained: "I'm like 170 pounds and I wanted to pose nude. I try to be like 110 pounds. Jessica Simpson shows off every inch of her very pregnant body in the new issue of Elle. The interview inside the mag may be even more revealing, however, as Jess confirms that she's having a girl and opens up about her thoughts on first-time motherhood.

Jessica says that her bundle of joy is expected to weigh in at ten pounds, and she and firance Eric Johnson have already picked out a "nontraditional" name, adding, “nothing shocking and nothing you’ll have to add to the dictionary… When people hear it, they’ll know . . . why.” As for the hardest part of beinng pregnant? “Givin’ up my Scotch? My Macallan 18? That was hard for me!" said Jess. My kind of girl.

Jessica doesn't reveal her due date in the magazine, but it's reported to be later this month. Almost a shame, really. Judging from the pic above, pregnancy agrees with her.

Jessica Simpson posted the photo below on her Twitter account yesterday. She was rooting for New England. Jess Tweeted: “We were really sad the Niners aren’t here right now — Eric played for the Niners… But we’re going with the Patriots. And I’m a Cowboys fan, so I cannot root for the Giants!”

It feels like Jessica has been pregnant for the past 1 and 1/2 years! She has the boobs to prove it. Is she a J-cup now? After the game, Jess Tweeted: “Stayed up past my bedtime. Now it’s time for my big girl panties and sleeping bra!!”

Those boobs are insane! I recommend sleeping in a bra, so I'm just going to assume that Jess does too (cause I've never heard of a sleeping bra). LMAO at Jessica telling her Twitter fans that her fiance "Eric played for the Niners." She omitted the part about him being unemployed for the past few years.

Jessica Simpson looks better now that she's knocked up and huge than she did when she was just, uh, huge. Jessica looks great even though she looks like she's carrying a few watermelons in there. Anyone else think she'd blow up like a Macy's Day Parade float?

Jess is reportedly pregnant with a son. I'm hoping that naming the kid will be a collaborative effort between Jess and her baby daddy, Eric Johnson. Considering the smarts this chick is workin' wit, don't be surprised if she names her kid Purse.
