Britney Spears made a name for herself as a happy, wholesome pop star who was saving herself for marriage.
But lawyer Eric Ervin, who worked with Spears as a teenager, tells Us Weekly in its new cover story that the "virgin" image Spears portrayed was, in his words, a "PR blitz." In fact, Us reports in its new issue that Spears lost her virginity at 14 to boyfriend Reg Jones, and that she and Justin Timberlake were intimate from the beginning.
Doesn't Britney have the right to have sex at whatever age she wants to? It's good that she lied about being a virgin for the years that she did. She was a role model, a fraud, but a role model none the less. I'm sure some Britney fans may have kept their cherries in tact, like, an hour longer thinking that their idol was also a virgin. Besides, who cares? Not much of a shocker. JT isn't the type of dude who would hold out for sex. Please.

The Sexy Back hitmaker was due to perform gigs in Sacramento and San Jose, California earlier this month, but canceled both at the eleventh hour - sending the rumor mill into a spin. Reports he had strained his voice after performing at the MTV Video Music Awards were replaced by claims he had partied too hard.
Now the 26-year-old has come clean. He told his San Jose, California audience on Sunday: "Certain bloggers said I canceled because I was hungover and they were right... I was."
I don't think he was hungover. I think he was suffering from ass-itis. How could you not with that brick house Jessica Biel is carrying around on her back side?
Celebrity Chef Guy Rubino is not afraid to call out the a-holes who step foot in his restaurants. I'm sure Nelly and Justin will act more like normal people rather than selfish divas next time they decide to catch a meal at Guy's joint.
"She made a reservation for 10 guests. She showed up an hour late, with five extra people in tow," he said. "For parties that size, we do a prix-fixe type of menu. Nelly objected and was really rude about it. She expected individual dishes to be prepared. Her manager even came into the kitchen and had the gall to say, 'Just fâ"ing do it!' I told her that she and her client could 'just fâ"ing LEAVE.'""Timberlake [center] comes into Rain, doesn't even look at the menu and shouts for random food that we don't make," Rubino groaned. "If he knew what he wanted, why come to an Asian restaurant in the first place?"
