True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard has been settling for boring C-lister Kate Bosworth for over a year now, and despite the rumors of heavy drama that have surrounded the couple since day one, rumors are flying that Alex has popped the question.

However, according to sources close to the couple, Al's proposal comes with a catch: Kate has to cut down on the partying. "Alex is very serious about marrying Kate," says one source. "But he thinks it would be best to move in together and test the waters first. Kate likes to go out with her girlfriends and have a good time. He wants to be certain she is ready to settle down."

I'm guessing "go out with her girlfriends and have a good time" means "get hammered and make an @ss of herself." Well, that's the upside of being the good-looking, successful one in the relationship: You get to make all the rules. Alex says knock off the partying and I guarantee Kate does as she's told. Since she's been with Alex, she's been popping up in the tabloids fairly regularly. If they breakup, the only time you'll see Kate Bosworth's name in print is if she takes out a singles ad.
