"I am not a celebrity. I am a mom and a wife. And I feel that Jon is having difficult times realizing that, you know, you can't go to the grocery store without people whipping out their cell phones, calling everyone they know and taking pictures of you. He is dealing very poorly with it. And I feel like these, you know, things are making him realize, oh, my gosh, I cannot go anywhere without everyone knowing.

I look at life as a glass half full is my attitude. And I feel like we have learned a lot, the kids have gained a lot. We have benefited a lot. And life lessons is -- you will see in our show. And this is full of life lessons. Life happens. And, you know, we all have to react to what happens to us. And I choose happiness. And I choose to survive anything."

Kate Gosselin appeared on the Today Show this morning to defend her husband Jon Gosselin. Kate said that her and Jon didn't envision this kind of rumor arising and says that she's "very hesitant" to believe her hubby is cheating. Kate also avoided answering Meredith's question about what she said to Jon when the rumor first broke. Kate said that her and her husband "are dealing with it privately." Yep, so privately that she spoke with Entertainment Weekly about it and appeared on The Today Show to discuss it?

The wicked wench known as Kate Gosselin, and mother of eight children with hubby Jon Gosselin, is speaking out on allegations that Jon's penis has been led to 23 year-old Deanna Hummel. Kate spoke with Entertainment Weekly about what she's going through, the tension and the stress.

EW: What did you think of the story and photo?

Kate: It's disturbing and unfortunate that these tabloids have gone as far as they have to try and bring us down. Jon's poor judgment and irresponsible behavior has also without a doubt caused some added tension and stress between the two of us.

EW: Will you address how the tabloid coverage has affected your life in the upcoming season on Jon and Kate, which begins May 25?

Kate: I think we will address the bigger picture, regarding the very public focus on our family and the stress it's caused in our relationship, but not necessarily any specific tabloid.

EW: That said, the latest tabloid coverage should only boost ratings for the fifth season of your show. Is this comforting, or troubling?

Kate: We are not concerned about the ratings right now. Our main focus is on our family and working through this.

Jon Gosselin is being put on blast via Jason Hummel, Deanna Hummel's older brother. New details have emerged on how Jon's affair began. In mid-January he was at Chill Lounge (don't you love that name) in Reading, Pennsylvania, where he began feelin' Deanna, figuratively. The two both sent each other a $3 shot. Cheap!

He could be a total opportunist and I'm not completely sold that Jon has gotten to know Deanna biblically yet; but it's evident that Jon's at least having an emotional affair at this point, which will probably lead to a f*ckship if it hasn't already.

Jon Gosselin hasn't followed Reality TV Husband 101 rules and was caught with 23 year-old friend of his Deanna Hummel at 2 a.m. in the morn, sans wedding ring.

Well Deanna is speaking out in his defense and alleges that Jon is not cheating on wife and mother of his eight kiddos, Kate Gosselin. We should believe her because?....

"We're just friends.It's absurd that anyone would think otherwise."
