Supermodel and former America's Next Top Model judge Paulina Porizkova is lashing out against celebrities like Kate Hudson and Heidi Montag for going through plastic surgery. I'm not big on going under the knife to feel pretty but come on, Kate was rocking nipples on her chest and that was it.
Paulina says after she heard the news of Kate's implants and saw the photos showing the size difference, she was heartbroken.
My issue here isn’t with Kate. If big boobs make her happier, then more power to her. The issue here, this fixing something perfect to something else perfect, is so much a sign of our times, and one that truly saddens me. The availability and ease of transforming our bodies is completely losing our identities and uniqueness.
She isn't so nice when she makes a reference to the latest plastic surgery addict Heidi Montag.
Wouldn’t Audrey Hepburn, Jane Birkin, Twiggy, Charlotte Rampling, and Jean Harlow have lost their special brand of elegant, feline sexiness if they were tipping over under the weight of great ol’ mammaries? Compare any one of these natural beauties to someone like Heidi Montag, and it’s like comparing a Hastens Swedish handmade mattress to a cheap plastic pool float.
When she compares Heidi Montag to a plastic pool float, I have visions of one of those Alligator floaties with big tittie, plump chompers, and blond extensions. Not something I want stuck in my head all day! Heidi went ridiculously over the top with her 'transformation', but I think Kate is an exception and definitely looks better with her minuscule implants.
