"Some people are willing to betray years of friendship just to get a little bit of the spotlight. They just want to become famous so badly, and that's never really made sense to me. I mean, it's fun to go out and do stuff in Hollywood, but if it was gone tomorrow, I really wouldn't be disappointed."
The crazy thing is, I actually believe her. Lauren does seem very well-rounded, grateful and content.
All the drama from last season of the Hills almost pushed Lauren to quit the show. I can't believe she would allow Rat-boy and Jay Leno's female twin to get under her skin that much.
"I actually came dangerously close to not doing season three, because I really didn't want to do the show with Heidi and Spencer," the reality TV star tells Seventeen magazine in its October issue. "I'm not who they are. I don't stage my own publicity. I just kind of live my life and do my job, and I don't want to be grouped with them." Conrad, 21, says MTV argued that all the characters needed to return for the show to work.The network said "Heidi and Spencer were always a part of the show, and they can't all of a sudden make main characters disappear," Conrad says. "And so we continue to follow their lives, and the producers keep letting Heidi and Spencer think there's some hope [that we'll make up]."
LC can't seem to pick decent men. Her newest arm candy likes to fuck around with other hotties when his main chick is passed out. She needs to quit going after these men who treat her like shit and find one to make her own little bitch for a while. The couple arrived hand in hand at the Belvedere Sky Villa Suite after the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas Sunday night.

Monday night's episode of The Hills started with Lauren Conrad and her crew at a Brody Jenner beach bash in Malibu (yes, the one where he broke his finger). Brody's BBQ happened the same weekend that Brody's ex-BFF/manager/stylist/publicist, Spencer Pratt, was to be whisked away by his lady to meet her conservative Colorado parents. While we can't fault Pratt for trying, our only issue lies with the fact that Heidi Montag seemed to misrepresent her pops, explaining how she has always longed for "a guy like her dad," and that she's found him in Pratt. If that's the case, we really have to wonder: what is it with that family?!
Back in La La Land, Lauren consoled her roomie Audrina after she miraculously realized what America already knew and kicked her beloved Justin-Bobby to the curb. The breaking point? In the immortal words of Lauren: "Homeboy wore combat boots - to the beach!" Well played, Audrina â" one jerk is enough for Us to stomach this season.
Lest we forget Pratt's heart-to-heart with Ma and Pa Montag, MTV should be ashamed of themselves for thinking it could carry an entire episode. The meeting consisted of nothing we haven't seen before: Pratt using his mind-control techniques to convince those around him he's "a good guy," Heidi justifying her love for him, blah, blah, blah. Same old story. C'mon, MTV â" we need substance.
Three episodes into The Hills' third season and we are already over Miss Conrad assuming the "supportive BFF" role. First she offered Heidi a shoulder to cry on, now it's Audrina's turn? Girlfriend best start charging for her advice or be prepared for a lonely lifestyle. Has she ever heard the old adage "always a bridesmaid, never a bride?"
What was Audrina thinking in the first place? Any guy who could be mistaken for a character from Talladega Nights with his name, probably has issues. I just thought he was a complete ass from the beginning. Lauren needs to find some dick of her own, too. She just seems angry that all of her friends are getting some ass but she's not. Buy the rabbit LC, it works wonders. I can't stomach seeing Heidi & Spencer's horse teeth anymore either. I just wanna file those suckers down!
Well, Lauren "L.C." Conrad does get to operate ongoing hot war with Heidi Montag in the pages of Us Weekly every week, free of charge. If that's not a fine compensation, I don't know what is. Oh, wait. Yes, I do. How about an estimated $10,000 to $25,000 per episode? That's the general industry range for top reality stars such as Conrad, Montag, wannabe K-Fed or Spencer Pratt.
Considering how staged The Hills is, bitch has to act. Lauren's reciting her lines. She's worth every single freakin' penny and then some! You know MTV is making millions off of these airheads. If LC signs on for another season, her agent should try to get MTV to double that.

In fact, the entire cast has now been prohibited from speaking about each other in the press, according to the source. While MTV allowed Pratt, 23, and Montag, 20, to walk on the red carpet, "they were not allowed to be at the party while Lauren was here," says a source, who added that extra security was also brought on.

If it wasn't for MTV gagging Heidi and Spencer, they would be doing an interview right now. These attention whores were cramming 'em in! In fact, Heidi talked to People magazine about Lauren just this last Wednesday.
I can't believe Heidi and Pratt think they're the bigger stars. Everyone is real upset about what Spencer and Heidi have been saying. This new season of The Hills is going to be hysterical!
But what's gonna be even funnier is when Pratt dumps Heidi and she tries to go crawling back to Lauren, screaming and bawling her eyes out. MTV better be there filming that shit! I'll buy the DVD and watch that comedy on repeat.
