Spunky little hip hop star Lil Mama is apologizing after making an offensive comment on America's Best Dance Crew.

While judging Vogue Evolutions dance performance, Mama told transgender male contestant Leiomy Maldonado "if you're going to become a woman, act like a lady." That didn't sit well with the Gay and Lesbian community so Lil Mama released the following statement.
"My remarks were never meant to be disrespectful regarding Leiomy's gender, nor offensive to the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community, which has been a community that has supported me in all my endeavors. However, in hindsight, I recognize that my words may have come across as hurtful. I spoke with her privately after the taping to express that it was not my intent to offend her or any member of the transgender community."
I don't think she was being offensive, just being up front. If you want to be a chick, don't dance around like you still have a wang in your pants.
