Matthew McConaughey proposed to his girlfriend of five years, Camila Alves! Matthew and Camila had a holiday engagement. The couple has two children, a son Levi, 3 and a half, and a daughter, Vida, who turns one next week.
Matt posted the photo above on his Twitter page with the following caption: “Just asked camila to marry me, #MerryChristmas”
Woah! Talk about a Merry Christmas! Camila has paid her dues. We couldn't be any happier for the McConaughey family. Congrats!

I must have been living under a rock for the last few months, because I didn't even know Matthew McConaughey's baby mama Camila Alves was pregnant with their second child. Camilla popped this weekend and gave birth to a baby girl named Vida!
Matthew McConaughey blog bragged about their new baby girl, and I love when the celebrities break the news themselves instead of us finding out through a tabloid.
" 'Vida' is Portuguese for 'life' and that's what God gave us this morning. Camila's recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family. Thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers along the way, another blessed day, we give thanks."
Congratulations to Matthew and Camila on their new baby. She'll follow Matthew's hippy footsteps. :)

"We found a great rhythm. Contractions started kicking in. I sat there with her, right between her legs. We got tribal on it, we danced to it! I was DJ-ing this Brazilian music."
Not only did Matthew do a dance between Camilla's legs, he also kept a diary of the entire experience and the hospital stay.
"I have it all chronicled. Becoming a dad is something I've dreamed of doing since I was 10. Becoming a father felt very, very natural. We were jamming! She was sweating. No painkiller, let's go. She just clicked into that gear that only a woman has at a time like this. We'd been up for 40-something hours, and we went from dead tired to a really steadfast, 'Let's handle this, let's stay in the rhythm. Don't let the contraction be more than you.'"
