Michaele Salahi Slapped With Lawsuit at Real Housewives of D.C. Premiere Party

Real Housewives of Washington D.C. just premiered on Thursday and wifey Michaele Salahi is already one of the most hated b*tches in reality TV history.

Michaele Salahi Real Housewives of D.C.

Michaele, who has already pissed off the Obama administration and Whoopi Goldberg, skipped Bravo's official premiere party, only to be served with a lawsuit at her own private bash.

According to the suit, Michaele and her husband owe $15,000 for unpaid public relations fees from a polo event the couple hosted in 2008. According to Us Weekly, they handled the news in the classy fashion they've become famous for:

"When Michaele's husband Tareq was handed the documents, he dropped them on the floor. When the process server tried to deliver them again, Tareq dropped the papers a second time and called security."

We've all been there. You host a polo event - whatever the hell that is - and you just don't feel like paying the PR firm you hired to promote it. Then the jerks serve you with papers at the premiere party for your new TV show. How annoying, am I right? Obviously, the Salahis are just regular folks caught up in some every day sh*t we can all relate to.

When told of the lawsuit, fellow castmate Catherine Ommaney said of the Salahis, "I don't want to see them; I don't want to talk to them. I don't want to be associated with them." Harsh. Should be a great first season!

Michaele Salahi Says Whoopi Goldberg Hit Her, Whoopi Responds To The Allegations

The Real Housewives of DC hasn't even hit the air yet and one of the ladies is already making headlines. The Housewives of DC women paid a visit to The View yesterday to discuss their upcoming show but The View girls also wanted to speak with Michaele Salahi about crashing a party at the White House. Michaele wasn't getting off subject when asked about the party crash so Whoopi Goldberg, who was back stage and not part of the panel at the time, came up next to Michaele and touched her arm and side to get her attention and said to her "'Excuse me, can you get back to the White House, please?"

Whoopi Goldberg Responds To Hitting Michaele Salahi

Michaele was apparently upset by the entire interview and her attorney Lisa Bloom says Michaele thought the experience was degrading.

"She told a show producer she was upset that Whoopi Goldberg had come up behind her and grabbed her arm. The producer went to get Ms. Goldberg, who then yelled a long series of profanities at Mrs. Salahi, accusing her of accusing Ms. Goldberg of 'hitting' her. Mrs. Salahi said she'd never said that, got the producer back in the room, and the producer admitted that 'hit' was her word, not Mrs. Salahi's. Ms. Goldberg continued to verbally berate Mrs. Salahi, refused to apologize for her language or her on set behavior, and left the room."

"Mrs. Salahi's overall experience on The View was degrading and demeaning."

I think this Salahi chick took it too far. Even during the interview when Whoopi interrupted her, she mentioned she felt someone touch her. She said nothing about being hit. The producer is the one who used the term 'hit', not Salahi, but I do believe she's pushing this for more attention. After seeing how she interacts with the house DC housewives, I don't think they would have minded if Whoopi would have punched her anyway.

You can check out the original video of the phantom hit heard around The View, after the jump.

Real Housewives of D.C. Video Sneak Peak

Here's a preview of the Real Housewives of D.C. The show doesn't premiere until August 5, but Bravo put this clip together which features Michaele Salahi bragging about going to the White House dinner that she and her rat husband crashed.

Will you be watching? Maybe one of POTP's new writers will, but you can count me out.

Meet The Real Housewives of D.C. Cast

Bravo needs to make a Real Housewives of the United States series because it's like the network is trying to cover every friggin' city in the States anyway. The newest installment in this tired franchise is "The Real Housewives of D.C." which stars none other than shameless White House party crasher Michaele Salahi.

Andy Cohen of Bravo defends Bravo's choice to feature the scandalous woman who crashed the White House dinner with her husband which caused presidential Social Secretary Desiree Rogers to be fired.

Andy said, "To the people who might excoriate us and say we’re making Michaele famous or glorifying what she did: ‘here’s what’ — we don’t make shows to make people famous and as a corollary, we don’t view being on a television show either as a reward or a punishment. That’s up to the individuals who choose to do so and the people who choose to watch and react.”

Controversy = Ratings = $$$$! That's all Bravo cares about. I don't like Michaele already because the way her name is spelled is f*cking retarded! I have major issues with basic names being misspelled for no reason. You wanna be unique? Try giving your kid a unique name instead of giving 'em more work to do cause they have to correct everyone on how to spell it their entire lives.

You can click on each cast member's name for bios.

Michaele Salahi and Tareq Say No One is Crazy Enough to Crash The White House

The White House party crashers sat down with Matt Lauer, via satellite, this morning to defend themselves against the accusations levied against them within the past week. The socialite couple claimed that they were invited to the White House and you'd have to be crazy to try to crash the State Dinner.

Michaele Salahi is a lying attention whore, though, so she's about as credible as Tiger Woods' mistress. And Michaele's hubby Tareq should invest some of his money into buying a personality. I was nearly bored to tears.

Salahi Couple Today Show Matt Lauer Interview: Rehearsed Damage Control

Michaele Salahi and her chunky hubby Tareq will be interviewed on the Today Show this morning. The White House crashing couple allegedly demanded six figures for an exclusive interview on CNN's Larry King Live, but they've chosen a live interview with NBC's Matt Lauer. The interview will be conducted via satellite from NBC's Washington bureau.

Tareq and Michaele Salahi

Bravo is owned by NBC Universal. Bravo's the same network that airs the Real Housewives franchise and the couple aspires to appear on the D.C. version of the popular reality show series. Suspect!

I don't wanna believe that these tools will appear on a reality TV show. They honestly shouldn't even be interviewed, but I can't wait to find out what they say when I wake up. The Salahis managed to pull off one of the craziest stunts in White House history. They better be exceptionally charismatic and intelligent.

Michaele Salahi is a Liar, Planning CNN Interview

Tareq and Michaele Salahi are planning an exclusive tell-all interview that may earn them six-figures. The interview will allegedly be taking place on CNN.

The Salahis crashed the White House state dinner honoring Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh last week. They are trying to get a spot on Bravo's The Real Housewives of D.C. and they had a film crew filming Michelle and Tareq as they got ready to meet Mr. President.

Michelle posted the following message on her Facebook page: I was honored to be invited to attend the First State Dinner hosted by President Obama & the First Lady to honor India.

This woman is sick!

The aspiring socialites are no strangers to controversy as they have been named, either as defendants or plaintiffs on 16 different lawsuits. One of their businesses is in bankruptcy. Tareq has even sued his own mother.

The shameless fame hungry couple won control of Oasis Winery from Tareq's mother in 2007, but ran the establishment into debt. Oasis filed for bancruptcy in February, citing the IRS and American Express among the unpaid creditors.

Tareq and Michaele may face serious criminal charges for their publicity stunt. Although they're in debt, maybe talking with CNN isn't the best idea.
