Ready to kick off her latest initiative, First Lady Michelle Obama chats with R&B singer Alicia Keys and BET CEO Debra L. Lee in the Diplomatic Room of the White House on Thursday. The women will visit various Washington, D.C., area schools and speak to students about career goals, in honor of Women's History Month.

I kind of love it! I used to think that Michelle Obama was hard on the eyes, but she does photograph very, very well. She's been looking better these days and she looked hawt a few nights ago at the White House Stevie Wonder concert.

Also, I dunno why her hand is on that table. It's bothering me and I'm not so sure I'll be able to get any sleep tonight. I MUST know why she posed like that!!!! Are they trying to impose some kind of cover up? Was she crunk? Did she lose her balance and need some support, what? All I know is that the First Lady looks great.

Michelle Obama's first official portrait as first lady was released by the White House Friday.

She appears in a Michael Kors black shift dress and pearls in the photo, taken in the famed home's "Blue Room."

Obama is also featured on the March cover of Vogue.

She's the second first lady -- after Hillary Clinton -- to appear on the front of the magazine.

Michelle Obama had a fashion miss and a fashion semi-hit at Barack Obama's inauguration events. First up is Michelle Obama's lime green colored, thick dress and senior citizen coat at the inauguration swearing-in ceremony.

The color is absolutely beautiful on Michelle and her gloves matched perfectly, but the dress does nothing for her figure and the broach puts the final touch on her grandmama, matron-like wardrobe. Not a good look. Jill Biden on the other hand was fierce!

Next, Michelle wore ruffled toilet paper and cotton balls in her one-strap white dress for the inaugural ball. I feel like she's too petite from the waist up to really pull off an over the shoulder, thick strapped dress. The cotton balls did nothing for me, and my friend said she looks like a cake. I agree! Except I don't wanna eat her.

Anyway, two snaps to Michelle Obama for putting 26-year-old inaugural ball dress designer Jason Wu on the map!!! And two more snaps for dressing her daughters in J. Crew coats.

I'm pretty excited to observe Michelle's first lady fashions. She's gonna change things up much more than Hillary "pant suit" Clinton ever would. Jill Biden's gonna be gorgeous too. It's gonna be fun, all!

Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have so much obvious sexual chemistry it kills me! They are so adorable together. Barack just adores her. I'll make sure to bookmark this entry in my archives so it can be ready to go when the Barack cheating scandal breaks.

Beyonce looked elegant for the occasion, luvs that she got choked up at the end. She did a good job.

It actually took me a long time before I figured out that Michelle Obama's butt is huge, too!

As Michelle strode onto more stages and people started focusing on her clothes and presence instead of her patriotism, it dawned on me �" good God, she has a butt!

"Obama's baby (mama) got back," wrote one feminist blogger. "OMG, her butt is humongous!" went a typical comment on one African-American online forum, and while it isn't humongous, per se, it is a solid, round, black, class-A boo-tay.

Try as Michelle might to cover it with those Mamie Eisenhower skirts and sheath dresses meant to reassure mainstream voters, the butt would not be denied. The one clear predictor of success that the pundits, despite all their fancy maps, charts and holograms, missed completely? Michelle's butt.

Ever since slavery, it's been both vilified and fetishized as the most singular of all black female features, more unsettling than dark skin and full lips, the thing that marked black women as uncouth and not quite ready for civilization (of course, it also made them mighty attractive to white men, which further stoked fears of miscegenation that lay at the heart of legal and social segregation).

Thanks to Michelle, looking professional and provocative in a distinctly black way will become not only acceptable but also part of a whole presidential look that's more, well, inclusive.

It turns out that Sir Mix-A-Lot, he of "Baby Got Back" fame, was not a novelty but a prophet. Who knew? Give that guy a Cabinet post.

I think Michelle's kind of hard on the eyes. Her mouth scares me! But once I finally noticed her big black girl booty, I understood Barack's physical appeal to her. She's got it.
