Digging For Dirt on Natalie Portman
I think this blurb is dumb.
Natalie Portman kept everyone waiting for 45 minutes at the launch of her new shoe line at the Te Casan Store in SoHo. When she finally emerged, she gave 15 minutes of interviews before going back into hiding.
Guests waited impatiently while sipping on Casa Lapostolle wines, which Portman chose because they are organic and biodynamic to go along with her vegan shoe line. The actress returned, reports a spy, "However, she showed up with only five minutes remaining before the party ended."
Who gives a flying fart if Natalie had people "waiting" for 45 minutes?! These people were gettin' they sippy sippy on in the meantime. I have yet to go to a single press event that actually begins on time. Whoever wrote this lil blurb should know that and get over it. I love me some Natalie Portman. :)
Quote Me Of The Day: Natalie Portman
On going nude in her new film, Wes Anderson's Hotel Chevalier:
"I'm really sorry I didn't listen to my intuition. From now on, I'm going to trust my gut more. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is say no."
Poor thing! She'll get over it, but going nude is one of those things that sounds good at the time, then afterwards not so much. Nat was already pretty nude in Closer as a stripper. And why announce that you're embarrassed before the film drops, drawing even more attention to your crotch?
Hey Now
It's impossible for some women to ever look fug. Natalie Portman be one of those bitches.
Channeling a familiar fashion icon, Natalie Portman makes an elegant arrival in a little black Prada dress at the JTN Vision Awards in Beverly Hills on Monday.
I Luv Natalie Portman
Natalie Portman Is One Of My Faves
Not only does Natalie Portman manage to keep her name out of the tabs, she's talented, smart, gorgeous and she tends to give back.
The Star Wars actress has been working with FINCA International, an organization that provides small loans to people in developing countries.
Portman described meeting young mothers who only had access to low-paying jobs working in poor conditions and says,
"And then they're able to get a loan and start their own business out of their house and be with their children.
It changes the whole system... If a woman can't tell her child, 'I can feed you tomorrow, I can pay for your school,' then where do they go?
What do they do? What do they choose? It's really trying to reach the poorest of the poor and offering banking services to them."
Ya gotta love her.
