Mel Gibson re-enacted part of the beating in The Passion of the Christ's crucifixion scene on his ex-girlfriend's face in January, allegedly. Sources say that Mel had one of his infamous fits of rage on January 6 when he allegedly shook his baby and punched Oksana Grigorieva.

"She tried to protect the baby during one of Gibson's violent episodes when he punched Oksana in the face two times, breaking her teeth and giving her a concussion."

Oksana didn't come forward because she was trying "to protect his reputation" despite being scared of him and his verbal and physical abuse. "She regrets having believed in his empty promises to obtain professional help to control his violent nature."

Oksana got a restraining order against Mel on Monday. He also took a restraining order out on her. Oksana's attorneys say that the truth will be revealed in court.

Now will this be career suicide like it was for Chris Brown? Not. So. Much. Abuse allegations weren't career suicide for Charlie Sheen either. Racism? Double standard much?...
