Prince William and Kate Middleton Arrive in US Today

Get ready, America. The world's most famous newlyweds are ready to invade your shores.

Prince William and Kate Middleton In Cowboy Hats

Prince William and Kate Middleton make their first official visit to America today, so here they are wearing cowboy hats, because that's what people do in America, right? Actually this photo was taken during their last day in Canada, and you know Will enjoyed covering up the royal bald spot for a few hours.

Will and Kate are scheduled to take tea and crumpets (I'm guessing) in Los Angeles this morning, but will not be visiting former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, as originally planned. Apparently, now that she's royalty, Kate's too good for an old-fashioned gropin'.

The royal couple will remain in LA for a few days, but are keeping tight-lipped about the rest of their travel plans. One thing's for sure: they won't be hanging out with many celebs. "The couple view this as a working visit, not as an opportunity for them to meet celebrities," says a source for the couple. So much for those paparazzi shots of Kate getting hammered with Lindsay Lohan.

Prince William and Kate Middleton Greeted By Huge Crowds, Protesters in Canada

The royal couple seem to be just as beloved on this side of the pond as they are in their homeland....well, for the most part, anyway. Prince William and Kate Middleton are currently touring North America, and while they have yet to visit the States, they're already being greeted by record crowds in Canada. Unfortunately, some Canucks were less than thrilled with the royal presence in their country.

Prince William and Kate Middleton In Canada

Thus far, Will and Kate have been greeted by adoring fans on every stop of their tour. In Quebec, however, they were also greeted by hundreds of protesters, who mobbed their motorcade with signs in French that translated as "the king is me." Suck it up, Canadians. Maybe y'all should've declared your independence a couple centuries ago like we did. Woooo! 'Merica!!! Sorry, I'm still caught up in the 4th of July spirit.

I kid. Anyway, the couple's weekend visits were also notable as Kate kinda issued her first public statement on the issue of her and Will's plans for parenthood. A young father who brought his daughter to see the princess told Kate that he "wished her well with starting her own family," to which she replied, "Yes, I hope to." Hey, it's not much, but at least now we know she's not planning on breaking hundreds of years of tradition.

Happy 29th Birthday, Prince William!

Most of us are happy if our friends buy us a couple shots on our birthday, but when you're royal, whole friggin' countries celebrate the day you were born.

Prince William turned 29, and though loyal subjects the world over are sending Will their b-day wishes, don't expect a big, official celebration a la the Royal Wedding. Instead, Will seems to be keeping the celebration mostly private, which can only mean a royal bender fit for a king.

Then again, it's possible Will's just gonna stay home and "celebrate" in the royal bedchamber with Kate Middleton all day. Either way, two things remain certain: dude's had a hell of a year, and he's got plenty of reason to party.

Prince William and Kate Middleton Cancelled Visit with Arnold Schwarzenegger

Prince William and Kate Middleton were supposedly scheduled to meet up with the Arnold Schwarzenegger during their visit to California this summer, but now the meet-up is “not happening.”

A source told the New York Post, “Organizers of the royal visit had been talking about a private meeting with Schwarzenegger at the British consul-general’s Los Angeles residence, but now that plan has been abandoned." Not entirely surprising, but it’s still a good move on their part. Besides the bad publicity, I’m sure the duke and duchess were wary about meeting such a major d!ckhead. They’re far too proper and classy for that shiz!

Schwarzenegger’s rep insists, however, that the couple and the philanderer were never intended to meet. “There were never any plans for them to get together. Never even discussed. There was some rumor that was out there on the Internet, I don’t know where it came from. There were no discussions on either side about a visit.”

I think the ex-Governator’s just trying to pretend that there are still some people in the world who he hasn’t pissed off. Will and Kate will almost certainly be filling their communal datebook with loads of get-togethers with fancy and important people while in L.A. Pre-scandal, former governor Arnie would definitely fall into that category. The little sh!t’s just trying to save face.

Kate Middleton's Wedding Dress to be Enshrined at Buckingham Palace

Ya know how ya know you're a princess and not just some chick that got married? Instead of getting put on mothballs and thrown in the attic so you can one day try to force it on your ungrateful granddaughter, your wedding dress gets friggin' enshrined!

Kate Middleton's Cartier Tiara

Yes, Kate Middleton's famous gown, tiara, and veil will soon be on display for visitors of Buckingham Palace. The entire ensemble, including the dress designed by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen, the Cartier tiara, and the ten-year's-of-your-salary earrings will be shown as part of a Royal Wedding attraction that also includes the Rolls Royce Phantom VI that carried the couple to the palace, and the cake that Prince William and Kate cut into with a sword on their big day.

See? When you got married your guests probably ate the cake like a bunch of dumb @ss commoners. That's ain't how royals roll, yo.

Kate Middleton Wears Ralph Lauren at First Post-Wedding Public Outing

Kate Middleton looked beautiful in her ridiculous British hat and Ralph Lauren outfit at the Epsom Derby in England on Saturday.

Prince William looks hot

Traditionally, princesses and all females in the royal family are expected to wear British designers! Go girl.

This was the first public outing for the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William since their wedding. Hats do wonders for Wills. He looks so much better when he hides his freakish bald spot.

Kate Middleton and Prince William: North American Tour Coming Soon

They're coming to America! Well, first they're stopping in Canada, but they'll get here eventually. Kate Middleton and Prince William are about to get their Royal on in our part of the world, kicking off a tour of the continent next month.

Now that they're tight with the Obamas, Kate and Will are returning the favor of an official visit by swinging through the states. First, they'll make seven (!) stops in Canada (I guess they're still pissed about that whole revolution thing a couple centuries ago), but they're scheduled to begin the American leg of their world tour in July, starting in California. The couple has yet to announce a schedule for their visit to the states, but they're expected to stop by several major US cities. That's assuming they don't explode the second they get off the plane. I'm guessing pale British people don't do well with California in July heat.

Kate Middleton and Prince William Meet Barack and Michelle Obama!

President Barack Obama and wife Michelle are touring Europe this week, and after stopping to pound some Guinness in Ireland yesterday (seriously) they decided to swing by Buckingham palace today and congratulate the new royal couple.

Yep, there's Prince William and Kate Middleton, fresh off their honeymoon, chatting with Barry and Michelle. Kate and Michelle may be married to two of the most recognizable men in the world, but how much can they really have to talk about? Michelle's from the South Side of Chicago, and you know she wouldn't have waited around 8 years for some dude to put a ring on it. She probably just nodded and smiled while Kate called a bunch of things "dreadful," all the while thinking, "B!tch, please."

Following the meet and greet, the first couple were treated to a 41-gun salute and a performance of the Star Spangled Banner. They'll even spend the night in a six-room suite last used by Will and Kate. It's a nice change from when the Bushes used to show up to the palace and everyone turned off the lights and stayed real quiet hoping they'd go away.

Kate Middleton and Prince William's $720,000 Honeymoon is a Little Pricey

Prince William and Kate Middleton are finally getting to enjoy their honeymoon together on North Island in the Seychelles, and they're doing it up royal style. This lavish get away costs $720,000, and I'm wondering which family member claimed they would foot the bill for the honeymoon?

Kate and William laughing

Us Weekly reports the newlyweds rented out villas at North Island Lodge which has awesome perks, with everything from your own private butler who does anything and everything for you, to a beach side ice cream sundae, to meeting your standards on your choice of pillow. I'm jealous; their own personal cabana boy!

Some of the other luxuries at the hotel include: "an open-air bath filled with frangipani flowers; golf carts and mountain bikes to check out the island's remarkable flora and fauna, and more. (Just one of those hand-crafted villas has two bedrooms and nearly 5,000 square feet of space!)"

A source says Kate and Prince William "have been looking forward to this trip as much as they were their wedding," The getaway is "the first time in months they can relax together, away from everything and anyone."

They better be getting their hump on and concentrate on making babies. Surely Kate doesn't want to "defy 200 years of tradition" by not getting knocked up in the first 9 months of marriage. Yeah, no pressure there!

If I'm spending close to a million dollars on a vacation, I better be walking on a beach covered in pearls, and get chilled diamonds for ice when I order my drinks. That's an absurd price for a vacation.

Why Prince William Struggled to Put the Ring on Kate Middleton

Apparently, it wasn’t just nerves that kept Prince William from gracefully sliding Kate Middleton’s wedding ring onto her finger.

Prince William Puts a Ring on Kate Middleton

A source told the Daily Mail, “Kate asked Wartski, who made the ring, to make it a size smaller so it didn’t slip off. She had her engagement ring resized because she’d lost weight and didn’t want the same problem with her wedding ring slipping off.”

And yet the ring still didn’t fit! Thankfully, the one-size-too-small wedding band remains more of “a subject of amusement” than a point of frustration for the young couple. I’m just glad she didn’t freak out about being “too fat” on inter(national) television, like a lot of brides would. K. Middleton is just one classy @ss girl.
