ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson wants Paula Abdul to join his cheesy show. While at a press tour stop in Pasadena on Saturday, he said he would love to have Paula Abdul on Dancing with the Has Beens.

"We would love to have her on Dancing.”

McPherson added that Abdul could be added either as a participant, dancer or judge. “I think she’s a huge talent,” said McPherson. “There’s a sensitivity and an empathy that balances out Idol, and we’d love to get a piece of that.”

Dancing With the Stars isn't the right fit for Paula's brand of crazy. The show is too tame and there would be few opportunities for Paula to argue with the other judges about the dancing like she's able to on Idol, cause music's more subjective than dancing. I'm still hoping that Paula will return to American Idol or at least frequently show up to lip-synch new songs. Her "I'm Just Here For the Music and Drugs" performance last season was a masterpiece of epic proportions.

Dina Lohan is a train wreck of a mother but she's pretty well known. Like Michael Lohan, Dina has always sought out attention by speaking with the media very very frequently.

Now that she's a bit of a household name, she doesn't need her Living Lohan reality show on E! anymore. But Dina Lohan is burning bridges by saying that E! producers wanted her and her fam to engage in lie-telling (aka standard acting on all reality shows), and so she turned down a second season.

Dina says, "They wanted us to do these crazy things, like my son cheating on his girlfriend, me faking a pregnancy. I was like, 'No, no, no! They had ideas that weren't conducive to our ideas."

Makes you wonder what exactly her ideas were! Dina already tried to get 15 year-old Ali to gain entrance into a 21+ nightclub. Does she want scenes like that featured on the show? If so, Dina should try switching networks and create a new show with a new title: Lohans, Crazy B*tches Who Don't Need No Scripts! Pow.

So You Think You Can Dance producer Nigel Lythgoe says that Katie Holmes will perform on Thursday's SYTYCD elimination show.

He said,

“It’s about a charity [but] I do not have the status. It’s just not legal to talk about it at the moment,” he explained.

But Lythgoe, who is rumored to be directing Holmes in choreography by Tyce Diorio, did spill another juicy tidbit.

“Katie is a small part of what is going on,” he said. “It’s more than Katie.”

Katie Holmes is rumored to be dancing in a tribute to Judy Garland's "Get Happy" from Summer Stock. Hmmm...

I can't begin to tell you how happy this story makes me. This show is going to be such a friggin riot! It is so being added to my DVR schedule. I can not wait!

The Entertainer is an idiot and I can't even decide whether I'll be tuning in to see what kind of skanks would bring themselves to compete on a show to win the heart of 30-year-old unemployed man, or to see all of The Entertainer's loud confession clips which make me lol.

It's lights out for Jon & Kate Plus 8. TLC has halted production of its popular show following the Gosselin's divorce revelation episode which aired yesterday.

TLC says that they will not be airing new footage of Jon & Kate until August 3. TLC made the decision, not Kate Gosselin or Jon Gosselin.

Only six episodes of the 40-episode season have aired so far! Through tears on Monday night's show Kate said, "the show must go on!" Guess she didn't know when that exactly would be.

TLC doesn't have enough footage to put together new episodes of the series because of the Gosselin's marital problems. Episodes that were televised this season were often shot at the last minute and even completed on the day of airing! Woah! Editing for TLC sounds like a b*tch.

This show needs to be canceled and it's a total Catch-22. Jon & Kate tore the couple apart! Kate and Jon are losing each other and they may simultaneously lose the show that caused their split in the first place. Dayum.

Jessica Simpson's The Price of Beauty show is scheduled to premiere next year on Vh1. The name of the show itself makes me wanna vom all over my keyboard!

Jessica Simpson's docu-series, with executive producer Papa Joe, will follow Jess as she "travels around the world" in search of what people find beautiful and why. Watching my puppy sh*t sounds more entertaining.

Jessica said,

"I am really looking forward to discovering how beauty is perceived in different cultures and participating in some of the crazy things people do to feel beautiful. I know we will all learn a lot on this journey and I am so excited that VH1 is coming along on what I'm sure will be a wild ride."

Shooting for this caca begins in mid-July. I bet she'll be singing the show's theme song too. Gag.

Okay. Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin have filed for divorce today after a few months of heavy media scrutiny, tabloid covers and stress. Is this really sad? Did reality TV rip their marriage apart?

Kate Gosselin and Jon Gosselin filed for divorce this afternoon in Reading, Pa. They have been married for 10 years and I guess they hate each other so much that they couldn't wait to do this until AFTER their divorce episode airs tonight? How dare they! Jon & Kate Plus 8 ratings continue to plummet... maybe they did this so that more people will tune in tonight? Hmmmm. Sorry for the speculation, all. I suffer from chronic bloggeritis.

Life & Style reports that Jon Gosselin will be moving to Manhattan. He is going to be working in NYC and visiting his eight kids with Kate on the weekends. What we can gather from these details is that Jon gets the privacy that he wants cause it's doubtful he'll appear in Jon & Kate Plus 8 episodes after he moves, well, the Jon & Kate episodes that are left to be filmed that is; Kate gets the kids whom she can still pimp out, the million dollar mansion and Jon gets some self-respect.

I dunno whether this is sad or equally beneficial to Jon and Kate who may both be much better off with people they're each more compatible with?

Lindsay Lohan and Ryan Seacrest met in Hollywood on Thursday night to talk business.

Ryan Seacrest let everyone know what was going on via his Tweet on Twitter:

"Met with Lindsay last night about a show idea I have for her…it helps people and gives others a second shot! Still putting it all together."

Lindsay also gave more details on her Twitter on Friday: "Working on a really great project for television -- I am excited!" she wrote. "Something meaningful like Extreme Home Makeover on ABC… :)"

TMZ says the potential reality show will feature real people who are on the wrong track and looking for a second chance are given $1 million to make it happen. Linds would likely serve on a panel of judges.

This is one of the dumbest ideas that I've ever heard cause Lindsay Lohan needs to be an applicant herself! What does she know about being on the right track and being responsible with money?

And as far as her "serious actress" aspirations go, this is a move in the wrong direction. If this show gets picked up, I hope it gets cancelled within the first three episodes and I hope Linds is high as a cloud while she's judging.

Jon & Kate Plus 8 Will Separate.

Jon and Kate Gosselin are getting a divorce and it will be announced on this Monday's episode. That's what insiders are saying, and that's what we all pretty much know. Jon and Kate will be much better off and the Gosselin children may be alright too.

But Jon Gosselin is supposed to wait for the episode to air first instead of making it so obvious that he quit Kate!

Granny Conrad joined the ladies of The View yesterday so she could peddle her new book that she "wrote," L.A. Candy. She also talked about walking away from The Hills and attending Speidi's wedding.

Lauren Conrad is so over her faux reality show which really shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. LC is a shy girl and she's never seemed cut out for fame. During the complete interview, Lauren says that her real friends never appeared on The Hills and she was just hanging out with "those people." L.C. also says that Spencer Pratt didn't apologize to her for making a sex tape rumor because she was never on the other end of the phone during his apology scene on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.

It's amusing to see the looks, smirks and mild eye rolls from Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepard at different points of the interview. I don't blame them. The most entertaining thing about Granny Conrad is her raspy and whiny voice. That's how she kept me awake.
