The American Idol season finale was the biggest upset in the show's eight year history. It was reported today that 6 out of every 8 American Idol votes are cast from the South. Kris is from Arkansas.

Kris Allen allegedly won by a landslide, which is ridiculous. You should really only be allowed to vote for an American Idol contestant once per night. Kris Allen said,

“I’m shocked. I feel great, but I’m just shocked.”

“Adam deserved this just as much as I do. He’s an amazing performer, a gifted guy — an amazing guy.”

Adam Lambert said,

“Kris is my bud. He’s such a good guy, so humble, and he’s super talented. I’m really happy for him.”

“I’m a little bit different, and people enjoyed it, and that feels amazing. It feels really cool to be able to challenge people’s concepts of what is an American Idol.”

“Getting to sing with Queen and Kiss on stage tonight,. That, to me, was winning.”

I do not know where to begin with this post, but I am furious! Yep, it's great that Kris Allen won, I guess, but I think that Adam Lambert's sexuality played a huge role in this season's outcome. Whew! Okay. I will attempt to be calm.

I pretty much only heard Kris Allen sing tonight. Yeah, I heard him sing Kanye's "Heartless," but every time Kris would perform, I wouldn't pay attention, or maybe I would, but I would forget his performances. He does not stand out. He got lucky. He is Taylor Hicks 2.0. The only difference between Kris and Taylor is that Kris plays instruments and he's more talented; but he's like every other artist you hear on a street corner or at a college party. Many have tried to be another John Mayer, if that's the direction Kris is going in, and many have failed.

I'm pretty speechless right now. Speechless. I will attempt to regroup and write something halfway decent in the morning. I had so many thoughts, but my mind is going blank. Typing about the finale makes it more real and I am confused.

One thing I will say is that AMERICAN IDOL DID NOT ANNOUNCE KRIS ALLEN'S PERCENTAGE OF VOTES OR ADAM LAMBERT'S PERCENTAGE OF VOTES. WHY?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And when Ryan Seacrest asked Kris what he has to say about winning American Idol, Kris said, "Adam deserves this. I'm sorry." I couldn't agree more!

For those who haven't read any POTP American Idol posts this season, I want Adam Lambert to win! And because I want Glambert to win, I'm posting his videos and his videos only from last night's American Idol finale showdown.

I can count on one hand how many episodes I've actually sat through, and I was busy last night, but the internet is here to save us all! I was able to find 2 outta 3 of Glambert's performances last night. If I find the other - Adam Lambert's repeat performance of "Mad World" - I will post it. I also may post some Kris Allen videos too, but for now I wanna get all things Idol outta the way.

San Diego's Adam Lambert was his typical brilliant self while Arkansas' Kris Allen was his typical dull self. Both singers had to perform three songs. The 1st song was one they had already performed (Adam chose Mad World, Kris chose Ain't No Sunshine), the 2nd song was chosen by Idol producer Simon Fuller (Adam sung Change is Gonna Come, Kris sung What's Going On), and the 3rd song was the singer's debut single, "No Boundaries," a track co-written by judge Kara DioGuardi.

"No Boundaries" is one of the cheesiest, poorly written, verbal diarrhea lyrical arrangements that you will ever hear in your lifetime. Miley Cyrus wouldn't even degrade herself by singing this mess. Adam still worked it, he tried, but you can tell that he wanted to slap Kara while she blushed about her song. 

Anyway, we all know who's gonna win this shit - Adam Lambert, b*tches! I wanna root for Kris, I do. I just don't think he has any chance of having any longevity in the music bizniss. So why not give it to the contestant who's most likely to make everyone's efforts - the audience, fans, show creators, producers, guyliner artists and jewelry vendors - worth it?

Lady Gaga did a great job performing her hits "Just Dance" and "Love Game" on the Dancing With the Stars finale last night. Per usual, b*tch was a great performer! She also wore her signature unique outfits and danced around a bit, which distracts us from her unfortunate mug. In fact, her flamboyance worked so brilliantly, I actually thought Gaga looked hot in the face and not just the body.

Well done makeup, costume, choreographer people and hot male dancers!

Shawn Johnson, 17, is the youngest competitor in Dancing With the Stars history.

The dancing competition is always fierce; and with former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Melissa Rycroft and smooth hip-shaker Gilles Marini, Shawn had to work hard for the title. But the short and cutesy Olympian gold medalist managed to walk away with her shiny trophy last night. Shawn reportedly won by under 1% of the majority of votes. Shawn is so gifted on the dance floor, her win is well deserved!

Johnson's other winning routine? The mirror-ball trophy dance, which she and Ballas did while confetti rained down on the incredulous pair. So what does Johnson plan on doing with her shiny new trophy?

"I'm going to put my gold medal around it because it was the Olympics that got me here in the first place."

Jon's commentary must be right up Kate Goseelin's alley!

Jon Gosselin hints that life is difficult because he can't just be Jon, but he "has to be Jon & Kate Plus 8." Duh.  The season 5 premiere airs this Monday at 9 p.m. on TLC. Gasp! Lol.

Jillian Harris just may be the most likable Bachelorette in the show's history. Jillian Harris, 29, is also one of the oldest Bachelorettes in history. And she's Canadian. Progress? Jillian is the cutesy restaurant interior designer who has supervised projects in Canada and the U.S.

She is an only child and says that she looks forward to starting her own family. Jillian is very close to her parents and says she believes in the show and the possibility it provides for finding true love. Jillian is completely right! It doesn't matter how you meet your boo, all that matters is the quality of your relationship wit yo boo.

Things are also a lil different this year. Jillian has five extra men to choose from, making her total a whopping 30 penises and 60 testicles! It will be interesting to see if Jillian will have to eliminate, like, half of her suitors during the first episode, or if she'll get an extra week to test drive more of the hawt dudes.

I love this show. I am possessed with it. It's a fairytale come to life and it premieres tonight at 9 p.m. on ABC.

Jillian Harris was the third runner-up on the last season of The Bachelor when she was left heartbroken when Jason Mesnick cut her loose cause he said she's more of a friend who gives it to him in a hot tub than a girlfriend.

Jillian is on the rebound and her search for love continues today. She says that Jason encouraged her to take the gig.

Jillian told Extra, "Jason was helping me quite a bit to make up my mind to do this. He is somebody that I talked to and he really supported me. I had to sort of cut off my relationship with Jason [to do the show], but it’s temporary, and I will definitely be friends with him after all of this is over."

On whether she found her Mr. on The Bachelorette:

“I definitely know that falling in love is very, very possible, and I'm obviously in a very good mood right now. [My fear going into this was] what if I don’t fall in love? What if I get to the end of it and I don’t feel the way I’m supposed to feel? Is it really possible? But I can say that that is not a problem. I'm definitely feeling the way I wanted to feel in this situation.”

Paris Hilton slams her season 1 BFF winner, Brittany Flickinger, alleging that Brit was just a fame whore. I guess if there were ever the quintessential fame whore expertise who can spot symptoms in someone else, it's Ms. Hilton.

Paris channels her inner Lady Gaga for the superficial vanity project that is her BFF reality show. I gotta admit it, this is one of my favorite reality shows! Granted I sit down and just watch the marathon, like I do with pretty much all of my reality shows except for American Idol, but I can't wait.

Onch is back, baby! He is such a tool and that's why I love him.

I love Kristin Cavallari the best out of all the twats from Laguna Beach and The Hills. But I've already written The Hills off last season and I have no idea of what scripted crap has been going on in their fake worlds. Now it's official that Kristin Cavallari will return to her reality TV roots, replacing Lauren Conrad. Sigh. I think I'm gonna have to watch this nonsense.

Kristin said, 

“I’m not going into it like, ‘I’m going to make great friendships with these people.’ It’s work! And drama sells. I think that’s why they’re bringing me in, because I know what works.”

“I’m a completely different person than Lauren. I have a lot more energy. I’m more outgoing. I’m a little more spontaneous.”

Cavallari’s first appearance will be on the May 31 season finale, where she catches the bouquet at Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s wedding.

The 22-year-old bad girl says she will be more than game to stir the Hills pot — all in the interest of making good television.

When asked if MTV producers are plotting a potential relationship with Justin Bobby, the blonde bombshell laughed. “I have no idea…but they might try and set up situations,” she says. “I’m totally cool with that. Again, it’s a TV show and they need to make it entertaining.”
