After an abrupt split with Jake Gyllenhaal, Reese Witherspoon has been dating Jim Toth for a few months now.

The happy couple were spotted on Reese's 34th birthday, March 22, walking hand in hand together in L.A.

Now an "insider" tells OK magazine that Jim Toth is a great piece for Reese. Get it. Reese's Pieces. Piece. Reese Witherspoon! Muahahahahahahahaha!!

“She’s really enjoying spending time with Jim. He is a perfect gentleman, and since Reese is a Southern girl, she loves that about him.”

This dude is such an upgrade from Ryan what's his last name again? I'm not even kidding. I totally forgot.

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal broke up in December, and Reese started dating talent agent Jim Toth in February. Well done Reese.

Reese Witherspoon looked relaxed and happy as she celebrated her 34th birthday. Smiling, holding hands and sporting baseball caps and sunglasses, the couple were spotted on Saturday near Santa Barbara.

Witherspoon, whose actual birthday is Monday, has been linked to Toth, 39, since early February. 

Year after year the Coachella festival brings out some of the biggest acts in music and the music-loving Hollywood elite. This year did not disappoint as Paris Hilton, a Coachella regular brought her new Z-list boy toy, surprisingly Reese Witherspoon showed up and Dita Von Teese looked like she was dropped off at the wrong spot. Coachella is scorching hot! I would never wear an ounce of makeup at a place like this but Dita was painted.

She has a great boyfriend. She has great legs. Great hair. Great eyes. An Oscar. A successful career. Who needs proper posing while on the red carpet for an animated new flick that will bring in lots of zeros? Child, please! If Reese wants to spread her legs like she's gonna leak at any moment while you race to the puddle with napkins to soak and sell on eBay, then that's what she'll do. Dammit.

The third time was the charm for Jake Gyllenhaal!

After two previous proposals to girlfriend Reese Witherspoon, he again got down on bended knee " and she finally said the word he's been waiting to hear: "Yes!"

When Reese arrived at Sony Studios in Culver City, Calif., to shoot an Avon commercial recently, she was wearing her new engagement ring, two set sources tell Star.

"It was gorgeous, and everyone noticed it right away. But she took it off as soon as she saw people staring. Reese stuffed it in her bag and didn't put it on again the rest of the day."

Still, the large diamond sparkler was the talk of the two-day shoot. "There was already word out that she and Jake had gotten engaged, so the ring absolutely confirmed everybody's suspicions."

I'm not entirely sold on this rumor, but I hope that Reese and Jake will get married. They seem so right for each other, you can just tell.

On getting divorced.

"[It was] very humiliating and very isolating. But, by the way, if it's not painful, maybe it wasn't the right decision to marry to begin with. Those are the appropriate emotions.

"When people get in your face and say, 'This will pass,' you think, Are they crazy?" I'm never gonna feel any better than I feel right this minute and nothing's ever gonna make sense again. And I still have moments where I'm like, Nothing's ever gonna make sense again."

"[You have to] look at yourself and go, 'What part of this do I need to own? Which part of this is my responsibility? And that's the painful work that you have to go through to hopefully get some real life knowledge out of it."

I just love it when anyone, famous or not, is honest about their trials and tribulations. I also think her and Jake are the real deal.

Did you see Four Christmases with Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn? I did, and it was hilarious. I don't laugh throughout the entire movie of pretty much anything, but when one funny scene was finished, another one began.

You know how a lot of comedies have like one or two funny scenes? Not this one. A lot of folk also don't think Reese and Vince are a believable couple - I could care less. If two people make me laugh, you could pair up Star Jones with Matt Damon. If it's funny, I don't give a shiz.

Since opening on Wednesday, Four Christmases has made $46.7 million while Twilight had a steep drop to $31.7 million this weekend. Australia also was a big waste of money. The flick cost $130 million and brought in a modest $14.8. Ouch.

Anyway, it feels like a slow news day. Quick, Paris, shave your head, bitch!
