According to media reports, Nicole Richie has reportedly checked into a rehab treatment center for eating disorders and substance abuse. The Simple Life star checked into the Beau Monde Treatment Center in Corona Del Mar, California on May 11th, reportedly weighing 83 pounds.
The National Enquirer and Star magazine are jointly reporting that Nicole re-entered rehab at Beau Monde on May 11 to fight anorexia and a painkiller addiction, on an outpatient basis, and that she did so “in tears,” lamenting the fact that she’s “lost control of her life.” What’s more, report the tabs’ sources, she went back in just a few days ago, on the 19th.
We all know Bones checked out of rehab before so she could go shopping. I don’t take this bitch seriously. Publicity stunt. Rehab’s the new Oprah appearance and Bones knows it. Maybe she’ll stay in longer this time. We don’t mind, Nicole! Stay in as long as you’d like and put on at least 5 pounds while you’re at it.

Isn’t it nice to hear about a celeb who went thru rehab and didn’t have their publicist put out a press release about it before-hand? Selma Blair recently went thru her own little stint at the Promises Treament Center in Malibu.
According to US reports, Selma has had an addiction problem for some time, but her drug abuse escalated rapidly after her divorce from husband Ahmet Zappa last November.
“Selma finally admitted to herself that she had a problem and made up her mind to take care of it,” an insider says.
“She embraced what she learned at Promises and distinguished herself as a model patient,” says a source. “She’s anxious to get back to work and pursue a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.“
Ooooh, I wonder if she was in there the same time as Super-Cuts Spears since she was in there at least in early March. Maybe Selma, Britney & Howie Day all sat around holding hands singing Boulevard Of Broken Dreams? Selma has the best chance of survival out of the three. Just callin it like I see it folks.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers, star of Showtime’s The Tudors, has entered a rehab facility.“After a non-stop succession of filming, Jonathan Rhys Meyers has entered an alcohol-treatment program,” rep Meredith O’Sullivan says. “He felt a break was needed to maintain his recovery.”
The 29-year-old actor, who costarred with Scarlett Johansson in Woody Allen’s Match Point last year, plays Henry VIII in The Tudors, which premiered on April 1, and recently finished filming the drama August Rush with Keri Russell, Terrence Howard and Robin Williams.
Meyers’s rep adds: “Jonathan plans to resume his schedule following completion.”
Hate to say it, but I don’t even care. Jonathan will be okay. Rehab is such a marketing tool these days, it’s hard to take anyone seriously anymore who seeks treatment.
Jonathan’s so effing hot, he better sober up!

One celeb out, another one in. Fresh off the heels of Britney Spears’ release from Promises, Jesse Metcalfe has checked his dimples into rehab.
Jesse checked into the undisclosed rehab facility shortly after Page Six broke the story of the diva being thrown outta the Mondrian hotel in L.A. for acting “very angry” and “out of control.”
Coincidence in the timing anyone?
His rep issued the following statement:
“On Monday, March 19, Jesse Metcalfe entered a rehab facility to deal with alcohol issues. He realized he had a problem and was anxious to deal with it immediately.
The actor, best known as the hunky gardener on the ABC show ‘Desperate Housewives’ and the star of the film ‘John Tucker Must Die,’ hopes that the media will allow him the privacy to deal properly with his treatment.”
The actor, best known as the douche who no one really cares about has to have his rep give us bio hints about who the eff he is and why she wants us to care. We don’t. I don’t.
Why the eff can’t anyone drink for a few days without checking in?! Is it that serious, Jesse.?! Next train wreck, please.

Britney and Federsperm are getting along again too.
Sources say Britney and soon-to-be ex Kevin Federline had an “amazing meeting” on Sunday. They are not only getting along, they are hammering out the terms of custody.
When Britney gets out, she and Kevin have agreed to a 50/50 split with physical custody of their two children. The plan is for Britney to eventually gain primary custody and Kevin will have visitation.
Sucks! I totally thought Federsperm was a money-grubbing a-hole, and that’s the story I wanna work with.
Sources are saying Britney has “literally turned her life around” and she’s doing much better. I’m guessing that means she’s sporting better wigs and she’ll be back at Hyde next week instead of a month from now. Rehab worked for Lindsay. And rehab worked for Britney!

After seven years of sobriety, the mega designer has relapsed recently and decided to undergo in-patient rehabilitation for drug and alcohol abuse. Marc just revealed his Louis Vuitton collection in Paris.
Marc has publicly acknowledged his substance abuse problems in the past. He left Paris to fly to Arizona for rehab.
Jacobs’ business partner Robert Duffy confirmed the rumor that had started to circulate around New York. “Marc made the right decision,” Duffy said.
“He’d been sober for seven years. When he relapsed, he wanted to deal with it right away.
“According to the experts, such a relapse isn’t uncommon,” Duffy continued. “Thankfully, Marc recognized the problem himself and chose to deal with it. Obviously, our prayers are with him.”

Van Halen guitarist Eddie Van Halen has checked into rehab, the musician announced Thursday.
“I would like Van Halen fans to know how much I truly appreciate each and every one of you,” the guitar player said in a statement posted on the band’s Website, van-halen.com.
“I have always and will always feel a responsibility to give you my best. At the moment I do not feel that I can give you my best.
That’s why I have decided to enter a rehabilitation facility to work on myself, so that in the future I can deliver the 110 percent that I feel I owe you and want to give you.“
Van Halen will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with Patti Smith, R.E.M. and others at New York’s Waldorf-Astoria on March 12.
USA Today reports that bandmates David Lee Roth and Alex Van Halen will not attend the event, though vocalist Sammy Hagar and bassist Michael Anthony are scheduled to be there.
Doesn’t sound like good PR/damage control to me. Hope Eddie gets better soon.

ET reports that Brit’s manager issued a statement on Tuesday about Britney entering rehab for a 2nd time.
“Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed rehab facility today. We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time.”
Now Britney has exited rehab for a 2nd time.
Britney Spears has left Promises residential treatment center in Malibu, CA early this morning — less than 24 hours after checking into the facility.
This is a good move. Like I said before, I don’t think Britney needs rehab. She needs quiet, solitude, hair and time alone. She needs to stay outta the clubs, stay outta the recording studio and regroup.
Do you think she’ll do it? Or will she keep pissing off all gossip bloggers and entertainment show workers?
She provides enuf material for at least a few weeks. No wonder all those Britney sites are so successful. There’s a breaking story every 4 minutes.
