Russell Brand Unfollows Katy Perry's Twitter

Russell Brand must be severing all ties with his ex-wife, because he doesn’t even want to be reminded of her on Twitter. The infamous playboy comedian has clicked the “unfollow” button next to Katy Perry’s name. Shocking! But not really.

Katy did the same for him right after they broke things off, but Russell waited until now to finally cut the virtual ties. Obviously, Katy has moved on with her new boy toy, Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd, and we think maybe Russell just doesn’t want to see his old number one happy, especially in the arms of another boo.

But it’s also just a good thing to unfollow someone when you break up with them, or they break up with you. Reading their Twitter feed is, like, looking into the depths of their soul. Or, you know, something akin to a murderous, masochistic endeavor that ends with you down a bottle of vodka, two hours of your time (spent reading inane updates), and half your dignity.

Katy Perry Wants to Get Back With Russell Brand

Because Katy Perry hasn't had a boyfriend since she and Russell Brand split it's easy to say that she wants to reconcile with her ex. UsWeekly is claiming that Katy wants to get back with her ex-husband Rusty, nevermind the fact that he already has another girlfriend, Oriela Medelin Amieiro. A close friend of Katy's says: "Katy's been trying to get him back! She's a lost soul right now."

Perry took "a solo trip to India" on April 3 and the trip "stirred up even more old feelings." An insider explains "She'd already been missing Russell."

Katy's friend said that Katy and Russell "are trying to get to the point where they can at least be friends."

Sigh! This entire story is sh!t, y'all. If Katy doesn't have a new guy, naturally she'll think of her last relationship, but she needs a brain transplant if she thinks it would be beneficial to be friends with her sex addict ex. The door to Russell's bedroom is a revolving one and that's what's wrong with former couples being friends: You have to hide who you're dating from your ex. Being friends is not how you move on, but changing your hair helps. Katy's doing a great job with that at least.

Rubbish! Russell Brand Arrested for Throwing Paparazzo's Phone

Is this where our taxpayer dollars are going? Russell Brand turned himself into police in New Orleans within the last hour where he is currently in police custody. A warrant was issued for Brand's arrest after he took a paparazzo's phone and threw it through the window of a law office.

Rusty agreed to pay for the window, and the photographer got his phone back, but that didn't satisfy the popo!

What these reports fail to mention is that the paparazzi often provoke their subjects so that their photos will be worth more money. Something set Russell off.

Katy Perry: "Part of Me" Is NOT About Russell Brand

I don't like to think of Katy Perry lying to me (maybe lying with me...) but it seems that's what's happening in her explanation of her newest number one single, Part of Me.

Katy swears the song is not about her split with ex-husband Russell Brand, and was in fact written years ago, before she even met Russell. I'm calling shenanigans. Even if the song was written before the break-up, Katy had to see the significance of singing it at the Grammys and releasing it as her next single.

She even changed the lyrics so that the song would be more relevant to her current situation. A line in which she sings, "You can keep the diamond ring - it don't mean nothing anyway," was added for the Grammy performance. Coincidence? Yes, says Katy.

"I feel like I'm in some kind of weird 'Truman Show' where I'm like, 'Why is this single appropriate now and it wouldn't have been appropriate then?'" she said in a recent interview. "I guess the universe is kind of -- we're kind of like, dancing together in some weird way. Does that make sense or am I being to hippie?" Rule of thumb, KP: whenever you have to ask if you're being "too hippie," the answer is yes.

Oriela Medellin Amieiro: Russell Brand Has a New Girflriend?

Russell Brand just split from Katy Perry about two months ago, but you can't keep a good sex addict down for long. Various tabloids are reporting that Russell is already getting serious with 25 year-old model, actress and artist (read: unemployed) Oriela Medellin Amieiro.

Maybe she can just bang Russell for a living. Life & Style has a report of Oriela doing an early morning walk of shame outside Russell's home...just without the shame part. "She had obviously stayed over at his house because she was in evening clothes and high heels," says a witness. "She threw her head back and laughed - she was having a good time."

But if Oriela thinks Russell is looking to jump into another monogamous relationship, she's never dealt with many newly divorced, millionaire sex addicts before. "Russell is very flirty with the ladies," another source tells the magazine. "He gets a lot of phone numbers ... all the women just hand over their numbers and he takes them."

As for Katy's reaction to Russell playing the ladies man? "It sickens her ... she feels humiliated and burned," says a source, adding that, based on his recent behavior, Katy now wonders if he ever changed his ways at all. Really? I would think she'd look at how he's acting now and take pride in the fact that she made the right decision by leaving his @ss.

Russell Brand and Katy Perry: Divorce Finalized, Katy Signs Papers With Smiley Face

It's officially over: Russell Brand and Katy Perry terminated their 14 month marriage yesterday by signing court papers that basically stipulated they'd both leave the marriage the same as they came into it. The split seems to be completely mutual and amicable which has led many to wonder why Katy signed her court documents with a smiley face.

Putting a happy little emoticon on your divorce decree could seem like a serious "eff you" to your ex, but there's no reason to assume that's the case here. As we found out yesterday, Russell did the stand-up thing by declining to pursue half of Katy's massive fortune, and there's been no talk of cheating or abuse. My guess is, the smiley face is just force of habit for the perpetually bubbly Katy.

The settlement was reached in record time for a Hollywood divorce. The couple agreed to evenly divide all property that they acquired together during the marriage. There are no kids involved, of course, though Katy and Russell did adopt a cat, Krusty, who's fate remains undetermined. I hope they don't do the shared custody, every other weekend thing. That can seriously mess a cat up.

Russell Brand To Katy Perry: "I Don't Want Your Money!"

We're not accustomed to seeing mature behavior in Hollywood, or in divorces, and especially not in Hollywood divorces, but it looks like Russell Brand has decided to buck the trend. According to reports, Russell has elected to waive his community property rights, thus passing up the opportunity to score as much as half of ex-wife Katy Perry's estimated $44 million fortune.

A source tells TMZ, "This divorce is as amicable as it gets, and Russell was a mensch (Yiddish for a good person). He doesn't want Katy's money." Smart move. The money wouldn't be worth the long-term damage to Russell's career. It's hard to land movie roles when the American public thinks of you as that pervy Brit who took Katy Perry for everything she's worth.

Still, this move might contribute to the perception that Russell's sex addiction caused the split and he feels guilty about it. He's still doing the right thing, though. Spousal support and community property laws were designed so that housewives who never worked before wouldn't be left homeless by a divorce, not so that you could win the lottery by leaving the right person without a prenup.

Russell Brand Wants Zooey Deschanel?

Russell Brand and Zooey Deschanel are both newly divorced, and according to OK! Magazine, Russell thinks there's no reason why the two of them shouldn't hook up. What a coincidence! I feel the exact same way about myself and Zooey!

“Russell has had his eye on Zooey for a long time,” says an anonymous source. "He’s been sending funny, flirty texts to see if they can get together. He thinks she’s hysterically funny and cute too." The article goes on to say that Zooey is "intrigued" by Russell, which is enough to make me think the whole story is BS. Stranger couples have happened, but the ink isn't even dry on Zooey's divorce papers, and she hardly seems like the type to rush right into another relationship. Plus, unlike Russell, Zooey has a thriving career to think about.

Much has been made of the resemblance between Zooey and Russell's ex, Katy Perry, and that's probably how this story was born. I guess the two look somewhat alike, but as for all the claims that Katy and Zooey are practically twins, all I can say is, Katy wishes!

Well, he is a sex addict, so, uh, he's going to be having sex! Us Weekly reports that Russell Brand is already dating new b!tches. Sadly, Katy Perry already knows that her ex is whoring himself out.

"She discovered through her friends. One of the women told a friend of hers and it got back to Katy," an insider says.

Russell is also talking sh!t about Katy to his new chicks. "He's spoken terribly about Katy to them," the source says of Brand. Naturally Rusty is going to bad mouth Katy to make himself look good, but it doesn't end there!

Russell plans to "explore a relationship" with one ho in particular. "[Russell] told her he wanted her to move in with him after the divorce is final," confirmed the insider. SMH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These new chicks need all the luck in the world. Good luck taming your man whore, girls.

Katy Perry Unfollows Russell Brand on Twitter

Katy Perry is no longer following Russell Brand but Rusty is still following his estranged wife on Twitter. Russell only follows 78 people on the popular micro-blogging site but Katy is done with him.

A source says that Katy and Russell communicate via phone or email only because she's "limiting" her interactions with him.

Perry performed a concert in Indonesia yesterday and she recently shot an Adidas ad in Santa Barbara, California. Katy's source says: "She doesn't want to look battered and have people for sorry for her. She's very strong and confident."

I'm impressed!
