Britney Spears Joins The X Factor, Signs $15 Million Deal!

It's Britney, b!tch has signed on to be a judge on The X Factor this season. Britney will be paid $15 million for just next season. She agreed to the deal weeks ago but has spent the last several days working out the details of her contract.

A source exclusively tells E! news that Brit's contract "is signed."

“There’s been a lot of back and forth over the past few weeks as they negotiated the small details, but she’s on. It’s all completed and Britney is beyond excited. She can’t wait to sit down at the judges’ table and give this everything she’s got. She is excited about showing the world that she can do this, and do this well.

I love me some Brit Brit on TV, so this should be good.

WILL BRITNEY MAKE A GOOD JUDGE?

Yes, of course
No, she's boring now.
I don't know but I'll tune in.
Who cares?

Demi Lovato May Join The X Factor

Demi Lovato has a thriving music career, like Britney Spears, but she may take a break from recording and performing to join Simon Cowell's The X Factor in the States. As a last ditch effort, Cowell is reportedly willing to pay Brit Brit $15 million. If this rumor is true, what will Demi make?!

If Spears joins the show, there's still one more seat left to fill. Demi is the front-runner for the 4th seat but she has yet to receive an offer. Miley Cyrus, Avril Lavigne, LeAnn Rimes and Fergie are allegedly in the running. I think Miles would be better than Demi.

Britney Spears X Factor Salary: $15 Million

The rumors are true. Britney Spears may become a judge on the second season of "X Factor" and she'll be overpaid for it too! Simon Cowell told TMZ that he wants Britney and the pop princess may ink a deal within a week.

Britney Spears Twister

The details of Britney's contract are still being worked out, however "the major terms are locked." Sources say that a contract will be signed with "virtual certainty." Britney's fiance Jason Trawick is "very involved" in the negotiations.

Nicole Scherzinger was paid $1.5 million and Paula Abdul was paid $2.5 million for the gig.

Britney Spears: X Factor Judge Contract in Final Negotiations

I would love to watch Britney Spears give some yes yes y'alls on The X Factor's judging panel, but she's been working her entire life. Why won't she give herself some rest?! Britney's fiance Jason Trawick is reportedly negotiating Britney's final contract to join The X Factor!!!!

Britney Spears sad picture

A source at The Hollywood Reporter says that Trawick, Brit's former agent, is working on her contract, "which could be signed as soon as next week."

This is insane... These type of shows don't get A-listers with thriving careers to put their careers aside to pretend to care about aspiring artists. I don't know how the folks at The X Factor managed to land Brit Brit, but let's hope that she's worth the reported $10 million that she'll be paid for the gig.

Mezhgan Hussainy and Simon Cowell Breakup

Simon Cowell would blush whenever he would talk about his ex-fiancee, Mezhgan Hussainy, but according to one of Cowell's close friends, Mezhgan and Simon are done. Simon is a workaholic, and he continued to put his work before his relationship.

Mezghan Hussainy dinner date with Simon Cowell

Zeta Graff, who has been friends with Cowell since 2004, tells The Mirror: "Mezhgan was lovely but it was all too much for Simon. As soon as he hears the words 'stability' and 'future', I think it all became a bit too much."

Zeta said that "Simon needs a woman who isn't defined by him." Ouch. He says that Mezhgan was "too needy," and that Cowell needs a chick "who has her own career or wealth." That's sh!tty to say considering that Mezhgan has a thriving makeup artist career. She does makeup for people on American Idol for the love of gawd.

Simon announced that he was engaged to Hussainy last year.

Britney Spears: X Factor's New Judge?!

Now that Simon Cowell has fired Paula Abdul and Nicole Annoying Last Name, every female in the music business is being mentioned as a possible replacement. First it was Beyonce and Mariah Carey, this week it's Britney, next week it will be Miley Cyrus and Adele.

Britney Spears X Factor judge rumor

Us Weekly has an "exclusive" and alleges that Britney Spears has reached out to the X Factor folks because she wants to join the show.

Fergie is also in the running, along with Janet Jackson. I'll believe it when I see it, which is part of the reason why I posted the photo above. Brit Brit is newly engaged, she has two young sons, and she just wrapped up a world tour (or she's still on tour). She needs some rest!

Whitney Houston Considered For "The X Factor" Mentor Role Before Death

This is just further evidence that Whitney Houston’s death was a totally unexpected shock: the singer was in the process of being considered as a mentor for the American version of The X Factor. According to Simon Cowell, they planned to start meetings within the next few days. He called her death “horrible,” in the same vein as Elvis, John Lennon, and Michael Jackson.

He says that the last time he met her--during a 2009 episode of The X Factor that was billed as her reentry into the spotlight but ended up with a wardrobe malfunction--he thought she was an amazing performer, despite her obvious issues. In an interview with Piers Morgan on CNN, Simon said, “[Whitney] would have been the ultimate, ultimate mentor to any contestant coming on the show...It’s really, really horrible. She was a delight to work with.”

I am sooo getting Amy Winehouse flashbacks. All we can do is talk about how Whitney’s death was such a tragedy, the untimely demise of a legend, but there’s little else we can do except listen to old albums on repeat and lament about what could have been.

Beyonce Offered $100 Million to Join The X Factor?

According to a new rumor, Simon Cowell wants Beyonce to be a judge on The X Factor. He wants to pay her $100 million to pretend to care about aspiring singers on a reality television show. None of this makes sense to us. B has a new baby and she and her husband already have enough money.

Cowell allegedly wants to pay Beyonce $100 million, he also hopes to snatch Mariah Carey for another judge slot.

I don't believe this rumor, but I do believe that Simon wants some of the biggest names in entertainment to join him on the judging panel. What he needs to realize is that he can't buy everyone. These celebs have other things to do, and they've been busy with their thriving careers before his show began. Trying to fit judging some reality show into an already tight schedule isn't exactly at the top of their To Do lists.

Steve Jones, Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul: Fired From X Factor

Simon Cowell is no stranger to retooling staff on his popular talent competition shows, and rumors have circulated for months that The X Factor host Steve Jones' head was on the chopping block. Now, as expected, Jones has been fired. Surprisingly, it seems he'll be joined on the unemployment line by popular judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.

The X Factor Hosts and Judges

Late last night, producer Nigel Lythgoe tweeted, "Shocked to see Simon has fired Paula Abdul, Nicole and Steve from the X-Factor," confirming not only that the three stars won't be coming back for a second season, but also that it wasn't their choice. The show performed well for Fox, but fell far short of the goal of 20 million viewers per episode that Cowell predicted at the outset. Clearly, the mega-producer feels the show's on-air talent is to blame.

Cowell began slashing staff before a single episode of The X Factor aired stateside, firing British host Cheryl Cole before the season even began. At this time, only Simon himself and co-judge LA Reid are set to return for the show's sophomore season, and while there is no word as to who will fill the newly vacant host and judge slots, Mariah Carey has been rumored to be an early candidate for a seat next to Simon.

Mezhgan Hussainy and Simon Cowell Are on a "Break"

Simon Cowell, 52, says that he and fiancee Mezhgan Hussainy have put their wedding plans on hold. Cowell tells the Daily Mirror: "It's quite a complicated relationship. We have had a break from each other, and we are still incredibly close." He continued: "I'm vulnerable...I don't know if I will ever get married, but I am happy."

Mezhgan and Simon got engaged in February 2010. Simon gushed in various interviews about his girlfriend, saying: "She's very special...You know when you've found somebody very special."

What the f*ck ever. Everyone is breaking up and Mezhgan should run if she knows what's good for her. She's waiting on a man who has put his career first his entire life. It's pretty sad considering that she could be with someone who wouldn't mind f*ck her like this.
