Simon Cowell Misses Paula Abdul

He's not the only one! American Idol lost eccentric crackhead Paula Abdul and they've been bringing in A-listers to fill the void. So far,  the roster of celebrity guest judges this season includes Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry and Shania Twain.

But the HBIC is gone and so are all of Paula's slurred comments, arguing and random dancing. Simon Cowell said, American Idol is "different. It's like comparing a carrot to a banana."

Though the judge says he doesn't want to "get in the middle" of Idol execs and Abdul, 47, he says, "I miss her."

He adds that Abdul is "someone who will always work."

I still can't believe that Paula's crazy won't be a part of this season. American Idol will feel SO strange!

Who is Danyl Johnson? His X-Factor Audition Video is Burning up the Internet

Danyl Johnson is an energetic fusion of charisma, stage presence and talent. The 27 year-old has what it takes, but ironically, Danyl tried out for the X-Factor two times before he was accepted!

Danyl Johnson performed the Beatles' "With a Little Help From My Friends," and Simon Cowell and the entire X-Factor judging panel was in awe. Danyl's YouTube audition video has already been viewed over 1.2 million times, which is causing people to say that he's the next Susan Boyle. The public's interest in both contestants is similar, but Susan and Danyl are worlds apart for too many reasons to list.

I agree with Simon, this really was "THE BEST" audition!!! Check it out after the jump...

Simon Cowell: American Idol Contract Extended for Three Years

American Idol is sexist. Its producers wanted to pay Paula Abdul much less than Simon, Randy and Ryan. Why?!

Simon Cowell brat

Idol fans love Paula and if there's anyone who doesn't need to be on the judging panel, it's Randy DAWG Jackson and, of course, Kara DioGuardi.

Fox is now paying Simon Cowell $45 million a year, $9 million more than his current annual paycheck of $36 million. Simon will also be making more than 3x the amount that Paula was seeking ($10 million/year). And Randy reportedly makes close to $30 million. Yo yo yo. That's not fair, dawg!

Meanwhile Ryan Seacrest will be paid $15 million a year for three years. I commend Paula for taking a stand for pay equality.

Simon Cowell's Ex Terri Seymour Gets Choked Down By Fat B*tch

Extra TV correspondent and bony ex-girlfriend of egomaniac Simon Cowell, Terri Seymour, got chocked by a 33 year-old, 200-lb woman at last night's American Idol finale.

Janice Thibodeaux approached Terri and asked her if she's Simon's girlfriend. She then attempted to choke Terri! I guess Terri's response didn't suit her fancy. The psycho fan did this all at an American Idol taping where there's security everywhere. She was then booked on felony battery and is being held on $52,700 bail.

Terri reportedly refused medical treatment and was escorted out by three cops. Fans! And why is TMZ leaving out the only detail we wanna know - is Terri going back out with Simon or not?!! Dayum.

Allison Iraheta Voted Off American Idol

Allison Iraheta eliminated from American Idol

Allison Iraheta, 17, was voted off of American Idol last night while Danny F*cking KareGokey remains. I'm beginning to re-think my nonchalant strategy and I'm strongly considering voting again to save my faves. This. Wasn't. Right. When I think about it, maybe Simon Cowell's comment to Adam Lambert, saying, "I think you may have just kept Allison in the competition" probably had viewers thinking that Allie was safe, so they didn't vote for her?!! People always think other people are voting for the talented ones and that's not always the case.

Also, Simon Cowell looked pretty furious that Allison was voted off because he realized that he wasted his "Judges Save" on that wannabe Justin Timberlake, not naming his name, don't feel like it.

I luvs Allison and I'm hoping that she will be the next Daughtry or even Jennifer Hudson. One does not need to win American Idol in order to have a very successful career. Go Allie!

Kara DioGuardi Will Be an American Idol Judge Next Season

kara dioguardi will be back

I'm not really into new American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi. Personally, Kara and I would not get along. She would think that she's entitled to give me some stink eye, I would give her some stink eye right back plus a few eye rolls, and before you know it we'd be rolling around on the ground with each other's hair in our hands and mud wrestling.

Kara's a know it all loud mouth with a strong personality and a 'My way or the highway' attitude. There's only room for one HBIC up in my crew and that's me. However, Kara will return to American Idol next season with Simon Cowell, Paula Crazy, and Randy Jackson - that's a lot of ego on one panel! I'm so used to Kara already, I don't want her to go anywhere.

Tart-tongued judge Simon Cowell broke the news to Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show, airing Tuesday.

"I think certainly next year everyone's going to be back," he said.

"Really?" DeGeneres asked.

"Yeah, absolutely," he said.

David Cook's Brother Adam Cook Dies of Brain Cancer

adam cook dies

David Cook's brother Adam Cook, 37, was a source of inspiration and support for the seventh season American Idol winner. Adam could be found in the Idol crowd during any given televised performance, cheering for his brother. Adam was also a married father and lawyer.

David had cancelled two shows from his current tour to be with Adam. Sadly, after battling cancer for over ten years, Adam died on Saturday. David announced the news Sunday morning before the 12th annual Race for Hope 5K in Washington D.C. Adam was unable to be with his brother at the time of his passing.

Paula Abdul issued a statement. Paula's publicist said,

"Adam Cook was a part of our extended American Idol family who supported his brother wholeheartedly, even through his own fight. My heart goes out not only to David, but his family as well." What Paula meant to say was "Throughout the rounds, Adam Cook would always cheer on his brother David, our American Idol. And although David won the competition, Adam has won our hearts! He is now a daisy that lives inside of a sunflower."

Simon Cowell said, "I was incredibly saddened to hear the news. I met Adam Cook a few times at American Idol. He was an incredible guy, and right now my thoughts are with David and his family."

My condolences go out to the Cook family. R.I.P.

Judges Save Rule Spares Matt Giraud From Elimination, He's Next to Go

Matt Giraud saved by judges save rule

Simon Cowell was under intense pressure and nagging via Paula Abdul's crazy and an overbearing Kara DioGuardi last night to keep Matt Giraud on American Idol. It was obvious that Simon didn't want Matt to be spared, but he gave in.

Matt has made American Idol history! Not only was Matt eliminated from the competition but brought back as a Wild Card before making it to the Top 13, he is the very first contestant to receive immunity from the "Judges Save Rule."

Matt received the least amount of votes this week, but that didn't matter because he will remain in the competition at least until next week.

Simon told Matt, “I don’t see that you have really any chance of winning" before he announced that he has good news and that the judges will keep Matt in the competition. Kara and Paula got on their feet and the audience erupted.

Next week is disco week and Matt and Lil Rounds will probably be sent packing.

Simon was pressured into this and the folks at votefortheworst.com can do some serious damage now that the judges save rule has been used. One of the strongest competitors can possibly receive the boot now, which would be hilarious!

Quote Me of the Day: Simon Cowell

Simon Cowell on American Idol

During American Idol season, Simon Cowell flies back and forth to England four times every week.

“There is a point where I am not sure we can keep this schedule up. It takes longer and longer to make these shows because you have to put more into them, and I am not sure we can sustain me doing three shows…

“Most people do one show a year and I do three and they involve a lot of traveling. One may have to go... I like all of them. I can’t imagine not doing Britain’s Got Talent and I can’t imagine not doing X Factor. But I guess America is more likely to go because I have got one year under contract. Maybe that will be the end.”

Simon's got the magic touch, but I do think Idol could go on without him. Viewers could get accustomed to someone else; the new guy would just have to be completely brutal or completely gay. I nominate Clay Aiken.

Simon Cowell & His Chesticles

It seems like Simon Cowell has been into displaying his chest since 1979. In these pics Simon is 19 and flaunting his chesticles like a proud gorilla. I really don't get it. We see him all the time wearing V-necks and unbuttoned shirts. Its like he thinks his moobs are full of splendor or something.
