Taylor Lautner brings the buffed up heat to the Twilight movies as he plays Jacob, Bella's maybe love interest. Taylor Lautner is also trained in martial arts. He's adorable, young, fit, and oh so ready for a lengthy film career. If only he could act.
So sad. Someone Photoshopped a fake People magazine cover that features fake quotes from Twilight's Taylor Lautner. In reality, the only one that has come out is a rep from People itself. The publication says that this cover is "fake."
Meanwhile Russell Simmons believed the cover, Tweeting that he was proud of Taylor Lautner for his bravery and his courage... disappointed that people would joke about someone coming out about their sexuality. Let Taylor Lautner be whoever he wants to be..."
Hey Taylor, you know you've made it when people are speculating about your sexuality. It's an immature, if not downright homophobic, rite of passage for young, attractive men in Hollywood.
Breaking Dawn, Part I hits theaters for us regular folk this Friday (squeeeeal!!), but the stars got their first look at the finished product last night, in what may have been the young Hollywood event of the year.
Naturally, fashion took center stage on the black carpet as stars ranging from Robert Pattinson to the Kendall and Kylie Jenner showed up to watch the freaky vampire sex (fang banging?) in designer suits and award show-worthy dresses. Some of the stars were there for good reason (RPattz and Kristen Stewart), others were there because they know the right people (the Jenner sisters, Jennifer Love Hewitt), but everyone was lookin' fly.
Well, almost everyone. We're looking at you, Jackson Rathbone. Just because you played a vampire in a movie doesn't mean you have to dress like some gothed-out Marilyn Manson fever dream in real life.
Taylor Lautner is gearing up for life post-Twilight and all he’s got left to show for it are some six-pack abs and a bunch of screensavers for middle aged women with his face on it (not too shabby). The actor opened up to Parade magazine about the release of Breaking Dawn, his friendship with Kristen Stewart, and how he celebrated his last shirtless scene. He seems so earnest and wholesome, it's almost ridiculous.
On why Jacob will always stay with him: He’s come a long way and he takes a huge step in this film. He really grows up a lot and he has to make some tough choices. I don’t know if I could fill Jacob’s shoes. When he’s in a tough spot, sometimes he doesn’t handle it so well, but I feel for him because I don’t know how I would handle it. But while I’ve loved playing him and appreciate all the attention I’ve gotten, I’m the same person I always have been. On his friendship with Kristen Stewart: We’ve become closer throughout the years and we are extremely good friends now. Sometimes on set, we’d catch ourselves just being Taylor and Kristen, laughing and being ourselves, and there just happens to be a camera rolling, and then that makes it in the movie and that becomes Jacob and Bella. It was great to just be able to mess around with each other on set and have fun. On how he suffered to get his hot body: I had people bringing me food and shoving it in my face, saying 'Eat Taylor!' They sort of had to force me. Then I had to get my butt in the gym and that’s difficult because we were filming 12- to 15-hour days. I can definitely say that after my last shirtless scene, as soon as I wrapped, it was a huge celebration. I went out and had desert for the first time in a while, and I took few days off of the gym.
Oh sh!t! Twihards, are you ready? The cast of Twilight talks about what it was like to make Breaking Dawn. Kristen Stewart says that she was excited about the wedding scene "for three years," and Robert Pattinson understands how important it was for fans. These two are so getting married in real life! Taylor Lautner also talks about his transformation, and the entire cast and author Stephenie Meyer seem pretty excited about the upcoming movies. Breaking Dawn Part I hits theaters on Nov. 18!
Kristen Stewart covers the new issue of Glamour UK, and inside she makes some surprising revelations about her taste in men and why she laughs at longtime boyfriend Robert Pattinson.
Asked about what kind of guy she tends to go for, Kristen says that she's "repulsed by jocks," adding that there's something "a little vain" about working out too much. Is that a jab at Taylor Lautner, her Twilight co-star who famously buffed up for his role as Jacob? On the contrary, Kristen gushes about Jake when his name comes up, calling him, "one of the greatest guys."
As for RPattz, Kristen remained typically quiet on the topic of her relationship, but when discussing the fact that Rob was twice named Sexiest man Alive by Glamour readers, she had to laugh. "The first time Rob was named sexiest man in the world it was the biggest joke in the world." The fact that Rob and Kristen never exploit their relationship for press and have no problem making subtle jokes about each other in public makes me think they'll stick together long after this Twilight thing has run its course.
No matter what, you can generally rely on Kristen Stewart to look or sound completely awkward. Why? Because that’s just K-Stew’s game! And while she looks pretty hot on the November issue of Glamour, she still looks like she’d rather be anywhere else but on the cover of the November issue of Glamour. Go figure.
In the interview, she talks about the end of Twilight, her work with Twilight, and not much else. One cool factoid--Taylor Lautner supposedly makes a much better Twilight viewing partner than her boyfriend, Robert Pattinson. Probably because he's more like a girl.
“I watched [Breaking Dawn] with Taylor. It’s fun to watch it with him because we actually sit and watch it. Me and Taylor can sit there and be totally into it! Whereas I sit there with Rob…he likes it, but he has just such a different energy.”
Haha, we all know that R-Patz hates Twilight as much as you can hate a multibillion dollar franchise that has made you rich and the sexy kind of famous. In which case, you can still hate it a lot.
This is the problem with having defined ab muscles.
Taylor Lautner (AKA Twilight’s resident eye candy werewolf) isn’t having much luck finding ladies who aren’t delusional. The actor says that dating is difficult for him--because everyone wants to date his character.
“You definitely have to deal with whether girls are interested in me or Jacob. Sometimes it’s hard...The fans love the characters and they would love anyone who is playing those characters. I’m just the guy who was able to bring Jacob to life.”
I’m sorry, but I definitely wouldn’t want to date Jacob Black. Him and Edward Cullen always struck me as moody little b!tches who are irrationally obsessed with a two-dimensional character with shiny hair and little interest in anything else except for her love life. Like I’d want in on that mess? Puh-lease.
Breaking Dawn, the first part of the final installment of the Twilight series, won't hit theaters until November but Twihards are already sporting major fan(g) boners over new posters that feature Taylor Lautner and company in full brooding emo monster mode.
The posters highlight the two major plotlines of the upcoming film. One shows Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson on their honeymoon (where they have freaky vampire sex and KStew gets knocked up with a half-vamp baby), the other features Taylor's werewolf showing his pack of dogs how to look sad and develop 8-pack abs. Or something like that.
Anyway, enjoy your first look at the new promo shots. Only two more months until we can start to almost be done with this whole Twilight business.
Robert Pattinson is finally done filming the Twilight juggernaut and can now talk about how it felt to film all the awkward scenes in a series geared towards horny tweens.
He told the German magazine TVMovie that, even though it was with his real-life girlfriend Kirsten Stewart, he felt uncomfortable filming the sex scene in which his character loses his 100-plus-years virginity streak.
"Oh yes! I felt very uncomfortable. No, a fear had rather something to do with Taylor [Lautner] and his fantastic body. Jacob, as a werewolf, has bared all already in the last two films. And to be honest, I can’t keep up with him."
R-Patz doesn’t need abs. What Taylor Lautner has in musculature, Robert Pattinson has in swoon-worthy charisma and sexy smizing skills. Tyra would be proud. Which, really, should be the barometer for life in general.
San Diego's Comic Con 2011 officially launched yesterday, with Twilight's Robert Pattinson making headlines for having an interesting new hairstyle.
Patsy's haircut almost makes him look like he's always tilting his head to the side. Girlfriend Kristen Stewart was also just as awkward as usual while talking to the media - you gotta hand it to her for being consistent!
Taylor Lautner, Amanda Seyfried, Charlize Theron, Mr. Dexter himself, Sarah Michelle Gellar and many more were in the house, and that was just the first day!
