T.R. Knight has dumped his boyfriend Mark Cornelson after two years of dating. In Touch magazine's source claims that the relationship had "just ran its course." But there's more to it than that.

When T.R. appeared on the Ellen Degeneres show he said that he wants a baby, but that he doesn't know if it's going to work out.

Mark accompanied T.R. to the opening of his stage musical, Parade, two weeks ago. T.R. plans on moving from L.A. to NYC and Mark had no plans to accompany him.

I wonder how many dates Mark paid for? T.R.'s 36 and Mark is a 20 year-old UCLA student... A split right before the holidays is ugly! I wish them both good luck.

Former "Grey's Anatomy" cast member, T.R. Knight is speaking out about his decision to leave the show.

T.R. Knight's character, George, seemed to be disappearing from the show early on in the fifth season. George only hit the screen for a total of 48 minutes in the first nine episodes. Instead of talking to producer Shonda Rhimes about the situation, he asked to leave Grey's. Another problem T.R. had with the show, was the different directions George kept going in.

 "My five-year experience proved to me that I could not trust any answer that was given [about George]," he explains. "And with respect, I'm going to leave it at that."

He also knew he was walking out of a good chunk of cash ($14 million contract), but at the end of the day, he would rather be happy with the work he was doing.

"From an outsider's perspective, I get the [impression that] 'He’s just a spoiled actor…he doesn’t know how good he has it,'" he says. "There are a lot of people who would like to be in my position. But in the end, I need to be fulfilled in my work."

I kind of fell out of Grey's this past season. Once the Izzie and Denny ghost thing started happening, I lost all interest. It just got stupid fast. Although I'm sad to see him go it's better to be happy than be rich. Me on the other hand, I'd like to be rich and feel like slitting my wrists all the time.

In December T.R. Knight said that he wanted to be written off of Grey's Anatomy because he wasn't happy with his character's lack of storyline and camera face time.

Tensions between the 36-year-old diva man child and Grey's creator Shonda Rhimes have been "unbearable" for both.

E! news reports that Dr. George O'Malley is officially dead. T.R. Knight won't be returning to Grey's next season, which isn't much of a shock. Dr. George O'Malley flatlined during one of the final scenes of the season finale.

There's no word on any upcoming projects for Knight, who began his career on Broadway.

Grey's Anatomy's T.R. Knight was in a three-car accident in Hollywood yesterday.

T.R. was going eastbound on Hollywood Blvd -- the other car was going westbound when they collided. He was not injured, but a man and a woman were taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Cops are still investigating who was at fault. No citations were given.

Sounds like everyone's okay, except for T.R.'s checking account that has yet to feel the impact of this bust up.

How big is T.R. Knight's ego?

Grey's Anatomy jumped the shark the moment they fired Isaiah Washington. Then they let Brooke Smith go because she played a lesbian, now T.R. Knight is requesting to be written off the show and producers are complying. I refuse to watch a show that screws with its audience like this, and the actors should have more tightly written contracts because T.R. and Katherine Heigl keep trying to weasel themselves out of it.

T.R. Knight has asked producers to write him off the hit medical drama.

While details of his exit have yet to be ironed out, a source close to the situation says that it seems likely Knight's request will be granted and he will be released from his contract.

So why does Knight, who remains a fan favorite, want to leave?

"Have you seen the show lately?" says the source. Knight has received little screen time this season, with the show focusing on controversial storylines like the romance between Katherine Heigl's Izzie and her long-dead lover, Denny.

"It's time to move on," says the source. "It just feels like this is the right time to go."

T.R. is a child. He shouldn't turn on a show that put him on the map because he's unhappy with some scripts. Take a cold shower and get over it! Katherine Heigl's stank is rubbing off on him and turning him into an ungrateful wench. Plus T.R. looks short and I don't get the sense that he's a versatile actor, either. Sometimes you don't know a good thing until it's gone, T.R., good luck with getting that Oscar. I look forward to watching you in all the good roles you're confident will come your way.

T.R. Knight has no wedding plans, at least not right now. Yep, because gay marriage is now legal in California, tabloid reporters asked T.R. if he's going to get hitched soon. Beyond cliche. Is every straight couple asked if they're gonna wed just because they can? YES! Okay, makes sense now.

T.R. Knight and beau Mark Cornelsen won't be following Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi down the aisle just yet �" but they are happily living together.

"Mark just moved here from San Francisco," Knight gushed. "To clarify, we are not having a commitment ceremony and I am not performing a commitment ceremony."

"Once you are given something that you were never allowed before, you realize how much of a second class person you were before. That is horrible and fantastic at the same time. It makes me want to sob and scream with joy all at the same time."

"The floodgates have been opened they will never be closed," Cornelsen added.

Despite his youth, Cornelsen, 19, has received a warm welcome from Knight's Grey's Anatomy castmates.

"Someone in particular, I won't mention names told me, 'You know I like him more than I like you, right?'" the actor, 35, joked. "They said it about three or four times so it's kind of not as funny as it was the first time anymore."

"They love him," Knight said. "They're like, 'When is he coming?' They want him there."

Mark is actively involved with the ONE campaign, which provides AIDS education globally and is the 2007 Matthew Shepard Point Scholar, which means he is only one of three students who are honored annually with a college scholarship by the Matthew Shepard Foundation. Mark also graduated from high school a year early and currently holds down several jobs to pay for his San Francisco State University education.

According to one insider close to the negotiation, T.R. Knight has agreed to a new contract that will boost his per-episode salary to roughly $125,000 and give him a small piece of the show profits (pay hikes and profit points were also granted to many of Knight's co-stars, including Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo, and Sandra Oh).

Still up in the air, however, is the fate of Washington, whose character, Preston Burke, appeared to flee Seattle in the finale.

That said, the same insider hints that Isaiah Washington will be back as a series regular (although possibly without the same boost in pay).

"A cliffhanger is meant to keep the audience in anticipation and intrigue until fall," demurred an inside source at ABC Television Studios, which produces Grey's Anatomy for ABC.

I think it's shitty that ABC was trying to eff with fans and create a "cliffhanger" but I forgive them. Georgy will be back! Holla.
