Coldplay have reached the mixing stage of their fourth album, it has been revealed.

Kenny Anderson (aka King Creosote) revealed that his producer Jon Hopkins has been working on the production of Coldplay's new album. He told BBC 6Music that Hopkins recently mixed a song with Coldplay's Chris Martin.

"He's [Hopkins] done a mix of a song for them [Coldplay], I think they're really happy with that," said Anderson, before going on to explain that Hopkins had been playing keyboard on the new album.

"He's sitting in as their sort of guest keyboard player," he said. "They've been rehearsing for the new album, and he's sitting in doing keyboard parts, so I think they're trying stuff out.

"I don't know whether he'll get to go and play live with the band or not."

I can't wait!!! Their last album X&Y is their best yet and their concerts are SO much fun. They really bring the energy.

Al Gore, the former U.S. vice president and presidential candidate who reinvented himself as an environmentalist, won the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for his efforts to fight global warming.

Gore shares the prize with the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

"I am deeply honored to receive the Nobel Peace Prize," Gore said in an e-mailed statement. "We face a true planetary emergency. The climate crisis is not a political issue, it is a moral and spiritual challenge to all of humanity."

The Nobel committee in Oslo, Norway, announced the news at 11 a.m. local time â€" 5 a.m. on the East Coast â€" and praised Gore as being "one of the world's leading environmentalist politicians."

"He is probably the single individual who has done most to create greater worldwide understanding of the measures that need to be adopted," said Ole Danbolt Mjoes, chairman of the Nobel committee.

As a Nobel laureate, Gore receives a gold medal, a diploma and splits 10 million Swedish kronor â€" about $1.7 million â€" with the IPCC.

Gore, 59, served as Bill Clinton's vice president for eight years and narrowly lost the 2000 presidential election to George W. Bush. Since leaving elected office, Gore has relentlessly shined a spotlight on the issue of global warming.

His 2006 film An Inconvenient Truth, about the climate crisis, won the Academy Award for best documentary. Gore is also an recent Emmy winner through his Current TV network.

Halle Berry's model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, is keeping her satisfied.

Berry, 41, and Aubry, 32, are expecting their first child "sometime around spring."

The model â€" who also owns a Cuban restaurant in New York called Café Fuego â€" doesn't mind playing the role of chef at home, he's just excited to be a dad.

"A child in our lives is going to be amazing," Aubry added.

The first-time father-to-be said he "can't wait to be a daddy" and added that Berry is doing really well. "She loves foot massages ... I do all of that stuff," he said.

Alicia Silverstone is too hot for TV â€" in Houston, that is.

The actress shed her clothes for a PETA ad championing vegetarianism set to debut in Texas Wednesday, but Comcast Cable pulled the 30-second spots from the airwaves.

In the commercial, Silverstone, 30, steps out of a swimming pool, unclothed and sharing the benefits of a vegetarian lifestyle.

A spokesperson for the cable company cited nudity in their decision to cancel the campaign, though the clips had already been paid for.

According to reports, the PETA ads will still run on television in Dallas.

I've sat here all day with a million things I could put on this post, then think of absolutely nothing to put on this post. It's really hard to come up with something short and simple about what happened on 9/11/01. We all know we'll never forget what happened and where we were on that day. Just make sure to take the time to pay your respects for all of those who lost their lives on 9/11, and those who continue to risk their lives on a daily basis to keep us safe.

I'm so flippin' glad Larry is the father of Anna Nicole's baby girl Dannielynn instead of that money hungry whore Howard K. Stern. With Dannielynn's first birthday coming in less than 2 weeks, Larry has made sure to show movies and pictures of Anna to Dannielynn and also has paintings that Anna had made for her baby girl before she passed away.

"Larry says that it's important Dannielynn knows about her mom," his older sister, Judy Birkhead tells Us. "He's always telling Dannielynn how much he loved Anna and how great she was."Birkhead, 34, has put photos of Dannielynn's mom everywhere. "He'll point at pictures and show Dannielynn videos of her too," Judy says.

Smith also set aside keepsakes for her daughter â€" including letters she had written for her â€" that Birkhead is saving for when the baby grows up.

Longtime friend Jane Rose-Zupetz tells Us, "When Anna was pregnant, she painted a lot for Dannielynn. Larry will give her those, also."
